The name definitely caught my eye first. Menu is simple with quality ingredients. They also make this banana pudding that is insane. I love stopping here when I work Dodgers ...cool little corner spot. Don't miss the Little red door :) Service is great.

Don't let the hole in the wall fool you, this place has great pizza. When I say hole in the wall, it's actually a door or a window on a corner. I got their vodka sauce style pizza. The pizza was amazing and the owner even threw in some green sauce since it was my first time. Will definitely be back again, don't miss their parking lot in the back like I did.

I had been wanting to come here for a while. DELICIOUS!!!! I must say I usually have my doubts about reheated single slices but today was not the day for that, the vodka square pizza slice was out of this world, every bite was delicious with w nice crunch with every bite. I also ordered the pepperoni pizza square that was delicious and the banana pudding was very tasty. The owner was very kind when taking orders. Parking is limited and located by a hill so be careful! There are small tables to eat on the side with some interesting artwork to look at! Will definitely return

Square Slice of Pepperoni Add Italian Sausage Hot Honey Drizzle

Silverlake has some strong pizza options, Naughty Pie Nature is a great little shop serving big flavor. What Did We Order? Pizza Square Slices: - Vodka 5/5 - Pepperoni Hot Honey 5/5 - Pepperoni Italian Sausage 5/5 Sauce. 5/5 stars Toppings Amount: 5/5 stars Cheese Quality: 5/5 stars Crust: 4/5 stars Bonus: They add basil on the pizza, it's on there automatically, it's a beautiful touch. It's like leaving a little note saying "I thought about you today" to the tastebuds. The squares are served semi thick crust, but not heavy at all. It reminded me of a joint, Nancy's in Chicago, crisp bite, soft squares. Run down: The crust on the slice I had came in slightly over charred on one of the sides but it was just my luck of the draw. Overall: It's a casual neighborhood pizza joint. Silverlake is very lucky to have such a good one. Order at the window at the corner of the building (hit the doorbell and they'll take care of you). Jose was there for us today and he's a great dude. He's a pro, he blessed us with the hot honey drizzle on the side. 4 stars overall. First time trying this joint and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Coming for a pie of the Vodka! Walk Up - Window Seating - None Wait Time - Average Service - Excellent Price is Right

Was having people over for the Super Bowl and came across this place, the menu looked interesting so I decided to give it a try. And I'm so happy I did! Placed my order online early in the morning and had plenty of options for when I wanted to pick up the pizza. Showed up and the pies were hot and ready to go. Ordered two pizzas: Tipsy Tomato and Candy Manny. The Tipsy Tomato was made with house vodka sauce, chili oil, basil, mozzarella and ricotta. One of my friends opened the lid and said she didn't want to eat it, it was too pretty. Presentation was great, not going to lie. Being that we eat with our eyes first, this definitely passed the eyeball test. As far as taste, you get a little bit of everything with each bite, and the flavors played well together. With the Candy Manny, you have mozzarella, tomato, pepperoni and ricotta with a calabrian hot honey on top. So you get that saltiness from the pepperoni missed with the sweetness of the honey, but a little heat comes through with the calabrian chili.... just a wonderful bite! Overall, such a great find and a phenomenal addition to the pizza scene in Los Angeles. Plus the riff on Naughty By Nature is a huge is. Pizza and Hip Hop, say less!

Had the "Cosmo", thought the confit garlic was outstanding. When we're in the area again we'll be back to try another pie.

    Hot-N-Cheesy Pizza Madden's Way

Good pizza and the people are super nice! I got a NY style pizza, specifically the Hot-N-Chessy. Perhaps 3-5 minutes after placing my order, I realized I wanted the pizza done Madden's Way. When I went up to the counter, I apologized and asked if it was possible to modify the pizza a little bit. When I reached out for my credit card to pay for the extra toppings, the worker told me to not worry about it with a huge smile on their face. This level of customer service where they go above and beyond, even when the customer made the mistake, means so much. Sometimes a rude worker can really ruin your meal and the opposite here was true! I love supporting small local businesses like this! Anyway, the pizza itself was delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try! The photo I took is unfortunately after the pizza cooled down, so it's not as flattering. But let me tell you, even a cold slice was pretty dang good!

I walked by this place and was curious to try it out so I ordered a square pepperoni pizza and it was actually good. The basil is a nice touch on their pizza. I added hot honey to it, which gave it a nice kick. It came out in four minutes and they were friendly.

there are no words, JUST DO IT. Get your slice(s) and thank Naughty Pie Nature later. The dough was soft, and flavorful. The toppings and ingredients were absolutely the icing on the slice. Service was friendly and quick! 100/10

    Vodka Square Slice
    Michael G.

Stopped by while I was in the area and grabbed a Pepperoni square slice with Hot Honey, Vodka Square slice, and Pepperoni square slice with sausage. It's a cool little corner spot with no inside area, you order at the door/window and you also pick up your order from that same door/window. Took a little over 10 minutes for the slices to be ready, enough time to walk into the dispensary next door and grab some goodies . The hot honey was a nice touch, every time hot honey is available It's a necessity on top of the pepperoni slice. Overall 4/5, not really a fan of how toasted the crust was but overall I'd order again, overall favorite was definitely the hot honey pepperoni slice, come stop by and try it! Would recommend and would definitely come back but I'd order a full pie so the slices aren't so thick!

Hands down the best pizza shop in L.A. The pizza here is reasonably priced, especially compared to other places that charge close to $30 for a whole pie. You can really tell the owners take their time and care when it comes to making their food. This place proves you don't need a fancy sit-down to get a great slice of pizza.

Delicious delicious delicious! Seriously it was so good; I got a square vodka and my hubs got 2 slices of pepperoni with hot honey and they were amazing. Crunchy, chewy, not too cheesy. The lady who took our order was so kind and got our slices pretty quickly and even through in some sauce too which was really nice of her. Overall it was delicious food and it's on the side of a decently busy street but is kind of charming too. A great place for a cute date night and the movies

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part.
