For starters coming in the door the manorism was excellent along with a great seafood bisque. The appetizer had a excellent cowboy steak that me of all people couldn't finish, the portions are nice in size so please don't underestimate the size of the sides. Babe andI had the pleasure of celebrating our Anniversary at Labebe Prime. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the staff and the owner for making our experience enjoyable and unforgettable. Once you step inside the restaurant immediately gives you date night special occasions vibes. I know everyone has heard the background of this restaurant by now so I will spare the details.... lol and if you haven't I will post a picture about it. The star of the show was the food and drinks of course and boy did we order too much so we had plenty to go which tasted even better the next day. I went with the viral appetizers of course surf n turf waffle cones and waygu meatballs and let me tell you those meatballs did not disappoint. For entrees I went with the French bone in chicken parmigiana and spicy pasta. Babe went with the Mixed Grill. For drinks we had the Ultimate Sangria and the Lychee Martini both were on point. For dessert we did the chocolate lava cake and were given complimentary Italian rainbow cookies. Since it was our Anniversary they did come out and put on a show and your given a Polaroid photo to take home as well. Labebe changed hands from a father to his son as the new owner. With it they revamped the menu and aesthetic of the restaurant. The new owner Tony greeted us at the host desk and overall the service was great. The staff is very attentive. The pricing was definitely on the higher end, which for the area it's in, was surprising. I guess that comes with the territory since it's now considered a steakhouse. The old menu was primarily Mediterranean/middle eastern food, whereas the focus now is on more innovative/fusion items. We had baba ganoush as a starter which was delicious. My friend ordered the ceviche. I ordered the chicken kababs and they were great, along with the rice. I could have done without the veggies that were accompanying the kababs though (and I really do enjoy my veggies). They were just a bit bland. They've really tried to level up the experience with palette cleansers (which was unfortunately quite sugary) and complimentary sweet treats. The desserts were fantastic - I had the cheesecake and my friend had the homemade ice cream. Both were delish! While I do think there's some room for improvement as far as flavors go, it's worth a visit if you're a big meat and fish lover or if you have a celebration! read more

I came across Labebe via social media and experiencing it firsthand was nothing short of my expectations. The establishment is very organized, very streamlined, and very time conscious. I made reservations about three weeks in advance for 7 PM and arrived at the location about 10 minutes before my reservation time. The host let me know that I cannot be seated until my reservation time and graciously allowed me to go to the bar. By the time, 7 o'clock came, my name was called to be seated. Not a minute early, not a minute late, exactly at 7 PM. The owner of the establishment was also on the floor at all times, making sure that all guest were taken care of and that his staff had everything that they needed. It did not matter who you were, the owner made sure that everyone felt special. And that's exactly how a restaurant working towards their Michelin stars should act. Now let's dive into the food. The scallops were ridiculously delicious. The cream sauce that they came in and breaded top took it over the top. The risotto fritters were such a hidden delight. I did not know what to expect eating them because I've often had bad experiences eating risotto, with the risotto being undercooked. But here, the risotto was cooked perfectly and was very cheesy. The marinara sauce that accompanied the risotto fritters was so light as if it was a whipped marinara, and it was seasoned to perfection. The tomahawk steak was to die for. Out of all the steakhouses that I've been to, this one takes the top seat. The truffle butter that it was topped with along with the 45 day aging of it made the state very special. The accompanying sides of whipped garlic mashed potatoes and cream spinach with the perfect side dishes. The garlic mashed potatoes had a texture that I've never tasted before. It gave my taste pallet a firework show. The cream spinach hands-down was a 10 out of 10. By the time I was done eating my dinner with my lady, they told us that they had surprises for us since we were celebrating our anniversary. The first surprise was 2 lemoncello shots. The second surprise was the happy anniversary assorted cake and photo. This is the place that makes every guest feel extremely special. The owner of the establishment also that is know that Labebe used to be owned by his grandmother, which is why I could see so much passion in his intentions to make sure that every guest felt special. After all, isn't that what a grandmother would do? I highly recommend this restaurant and it will not be the last time I'm there. read more

My only negative observation was it came across as a little gimmicky. Certain drinks were brought to the table in treasure chests filled with smoke or some type of briefcase One guy was going around with a big torch scorching peoples food. I was excited when I received the email about the very exciting changes to what is now called Labebe Prime and I totally understand why. What a prime experience! Tony, the owner, is beyond gracious. From the time we were seated, Tony along with our server, Bashir, made our experience a stellar one. Yes, the prices are higher (what place hasn't had to raise their prices in the most recent year +), but you are getting quality, taste, service, presentation, etc... and for that, I will pay a premium. We started off with cocktails.... and let me tell you... perfectly balanced, delicious, top presentation, and you are actually getting alcohol in your drink, as opposed to many watered down experiences that I've had. I ordered the apple martini and cosmo.. basic and purposeful choices to know exactly what I wanted it to taste like... it definitely exceeded my expectations. On to the food... from the best steak tartare that I've ever had, sushi hand rolls (spicy scallop, spicy crab, and lobster) that I could eat daily, to the best lentil soup.... my mouth was having a party. I appreciated the grilled octopus, but it wasn't something that I'd have to get again... The icing on the cake (no pun intended) is that my guest was gifted a tiramisu on the house because we were celebrating her birthday.... complete with a candle and a happy birthday song. What a way to feel special, when most places don't make any effort even when you add that to your reservation. AND we got to meet the Chef Duke Estime --outstanding!!! I celebrated my birthday at Lebebe Prime, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was amazing--attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. I started with the calamari, which was crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. For my entrée, I had the seafood combo, which was a delightful mix of perfectly cooked shrimp, scallops, and fish--each bite was chef's kiss. My family ordered the paella, seafood jambalaya, mixed grill, and spicy penne, and everything was delicious. The spicy penne had just the right amount of heat and a creamy sauce.The Lychee Martini perfect, and the Spicy Margarita had beautiful presentation and a perfect balance of spice. Tried to make a dent by ordering 3 apps and share a main course. octopus was tender and flavorful. risotto fritters were amazing bangin shrimp we're probably the best i ever had. this along would have been enough to share with 6 people we split the mixed grill kebab. the chicken was tender and delicious. the filet mignon was great and the wagyu was good but my least favorite. we couldn't even think about dessert after eating so much and having so much to take home. want to go back to try the dubai cheesecake. definitely have to go back with a group and share apps service was excellent. ambiance, i would describe as elegant. read more

A couple of weeks ago my husband sent me a link and said...""You have to see this place!" "We need to go here!" Needless to say, I took one look and booked a Valentine's Day reservation for 4. Fast forward to the big day. We arrived with our 14 year old and 11 year old who by the way, love a good steak and are probably bigger critics than most. We pulled up to a very friendly valet wishing us a great meal. After a short wait, my husband was handed a "rose for his valentine" (that's me ) and we were lead to our seat. Our server, Christian, was wonderful. He began by telling us a beautiful story of family and tradition in which Labebe Prime was created. A story about a grandmother who left a mark on her family through tradition, love and food. One that we now had a chance to share in, if just for a little while. Now the food...I'm in no way a food critic, but Omgggg, the meatballs were by far the most incredibly, balanced, delicious things I have ever tasted. Even the ricotta was fantastic. Christian came to check in and smiled. He said... "we had you at the meatballs didn't we". Well, that is what I left saying as well. They also had us at the Chicken parm, which by the way had the same sauce at the meatballs and was cut with a pizza slicer. They had us at the filet mignon, cowboy steak, lobster tail, and French fries. The steak was tender and perfectly seasoned. My kids loved the presentation as well as every bite. Chef Tony came by to see how everything was and gave us a little info on what makes the meatballs so amazing. (You'll have to go yourself to find that out). My daughter said, "I just met someone famous". Ahh, the age of social media. At the end of the meal we had some cappuccino's, death by chocolate and then grandma's complementary seven layer cookies. In which we took the time to share our own family story with Christian. He was curious to know whose we thought were better and of course I said... "I think mine might be". To that Christian responded, "well, the next time you come, you'll have to bring me some so I can judge as well". And with that sentence we ended the night like it began. We ended on a warm note feeling like we were leaving family. Overall, we had a beautiful Valentine's Day and an incredible meal. As busy as it was, we never felt rushed or las though we were being pushed out to get the next person in. It was fun, and every detail is personal and well thought out. I truly had a great night and wish Chef Tony and his crew nothing but success. As promised, I'll be back with some of my seven layers!!!! read more
