We were in the are after The Polar Express experience and looking for a solid spot to end the Christmas magic and boy did Lady R Bistro come through! We walked in with 9857783 kids and all of us in our pajamas but Chris so warmly welcomed us all in and made accommodations for our party. They were so thoughtful about every little detail and served us with such passion. I loved the decor, everything was super clean and inviting. Starting with the drinks, they had amazing festive options for the season and a great selection of beer. I loved the details on all the drinks! The food was all so delicious, the tater tot's were so flavorful as well as the empanadas and were a perfect start to the meal. The pasta dishes are super hearty and the pork special and fish tacos were very tasty. They also had a full special kids menu that was perfect for the little ones. The French fries that come with the meals are the ones with the extra crispy crust on the outside. But save some room for the dessert, it's a butter cake but on steroids. The butter cake is so moist and rich and the vanilla ice cream so creamy. The toppings just take it over the edge! This would make a great spot for a girls brunch or dinner and definitely date night. Stopped in for Happy Hour today and my wife and I spilt a burger that was delicious! She had a Chardonnay and I worked on a Bloody Mary that was outstanding! Very pleasantly surprising little oasis in Sun City. Nestled over by the Post Office is this quaint little restaurant called Lady R Bistro. My wife and I dropped in one afternoon and were very pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and welcomed by Ashley our waitress who was so nice and a great ambassador for the restaurant. From the warm, friendly service to the beautiful atmosphere to the mouthwatering dishes, Lady R Bistro is incredible. We stopped here on our way home from Palm Desert . I checked Yelp and this place had 4+stars so we decided to give it a try! I ordered the chicken and waffles it was delicious! About 1990 my friends took me to a bistro in Tucson Az owned by Chef Donna Nordin. I fell in love with Cafe Terra Cotta that same day. The flavor seemed to explode on the palate. Jeff Smedstat from Eliote Cafe in Sedona blew my mind with fantastic dishes as well. Tonight Chef Rosie's kitchen shined bright, and was reminiscent of how a simple café or bistro can be brilliant. A menu inspired by travels to France and the flavors of California. The word Carpaccio was mentioned a half dozen times before ordering so that was the first item ordered. Just a tad overcooked, this dish was exuberant with the crispy capers as the star, and although a cooked Carpaccio, this one was not just approachable but delicious. Oysters on offer where graciously augmented to a wonderful surprise. They have a decent wine, list if not just a tad overpriced, but isn't everything today. The odd thing was that the bottle was never left on the table. The Pinot Grigio at 33.00 a bottle was great. I would have liked to have seen a check, though I was simply offered a small pad with a place to sign and choose a tip. Chris and Rosie have a wonderful bistro and if cost isn't top of your list, but service, kindness, and quality is, then give them a try. Its wonderful. I heard mention of karaoke live music, comedy and happy hour seems to offer more entertainment in Lady Ms 2000 square feet than almost the entire city of Menifee has. read more

Couldn't recommend this place more. Hidden gem tucked inside a strip mall with a very unassuming outside. We celebrated my daughter's 15th bday here and initially we were a bit skeptical based on the area it's located in. The inside is beautifully decorated with some fantastic artwork and photo ops (perfect for a teenage daughter) like it transports you into a trendy world unto itself. Onto the good stuff - our party of 6 all left raving about the meal we had, especially considering the price. I've been to high end restaurants that haven't touched the quality of food here. We ordered a sampler of food: stoner tots, onion rings, OG Chile Gueritos, Empanadas, chicken & waffles, blazing noodles, pasta fiori, pasta bolognese - everything was presented beautifully and the taste was even better. The chicken & waffles might be my new favorite dish with the chipotle syrup pairing with the perfectly cooked salty fried chicken and savory waffle - stuff dreams are made of. I took my kids here for brunch this past weekend and we were pleasantly surprised! I was a bit hesitant because I noticed that the menu online mentions a respectful decline of modifications. Given that I am on a vegan diet, I automatically assumed there would be no options for me here. So I went intentionally knowing that I would most likely have to get something to eat for myself from somewhere else after the kiddos dined. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but... Once you go in, it instantly transforms into a super chic and centric snug restaurant! The music, ambiance, decorations, and wall art were on point! My kids had the very berry French toast and the short rib chilaquiles, they thought both were delicious! I asked if it was possible to have the Blazing Noodles without the chile crisp, the fur make, and the raw egg yolk so I can accomplish my diet and they said yes! The noodles were delish! They have a kick to them, which I was expecting with the name of the dish but it was very tasty! Service was excellent and the chef even came out to check on us while we were dining! The bartender was super friendly and approachable and he was helping with delivering the plates to tables. Overall, we truly enjoyed ourselves and I was elated that I could eat there as well!
