Food was plentiful and tasty. Hash browns were a crispy layer over some tender shreds of potato. Biscuit was huge and flaky. Just remember good food overcomes bad service. My coffee was never refilled. I'll go back.

    Ready for an awesome breakfast.

Took a little while for a waitress to get to us, we went on a Saturday morning so that was understandable. Good food at a great price.

We didn't necessarily want to get dressed up to go out to eat and it was already a little after 7pm. When we arrived I noticed how clean the restaurant was from the outside and it proved to be that way on the inside. We were seated promptly. There were about 5 other tables occupied at the time. I wish that I had gotten a picture of our food but I didn't think about it because I am not one that normally reviews businesses unless specifically asked to do so. I am a Chicken fired steak snob and I have to say that this one passed the test. It was the perfect size. It was tender enough that I did not need a knife to cut it. I had a side of green beans and mashed potatoes with it. This hit the spot for home cooking. Our waiter was Edvin and he was very attentive and made sure a few times that we were enjoying what we had ordered and asked if we needed anything. We will be absolutely be going back because they serve breakfast all day which is hard to find these days and I am old school and crave breakfast for dinner on occasion. Lots of tables and cute pictures. The place is loud but that's because everyone is talking at their table. Our server Trayvon was super nice and very helpful. He gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time. We ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and hubby had a Bee's Knee. It had Gin honey and lemon. Hubby got the traditional breakfast-chicken apple sausage, sourdough toast and hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side. I rather dip the chicken in the gravy verse having it poured on top. My chicken fried chicken came with grits and sourdough toast. The chicken was so good and flavorful. I loved the grits. I also got a side of chicken apple sausage and when I tell you it was so good. It had just right amount of sweetness. This is a place to bring family and friends from out of town. We will be back.

Limited parking right now - looks like another building and hopefully additional parking being constructed next door. Immediately liked the bright modern comfortable vibe when entering. You can see the bar and coffee bars at the back. The downfall of having stuff hanging from ceiling and when choosing your lift fixtures, you have to clean them. I loved the circle lights above the booths. Unfortunately, they were dusty and I kept waiting for it to drop in our food. (Not what I want to be focusing on while eating). Very large menu with lots of great choices for breakfast, lunch, brunch. Cocktails, mocktails, fresh juice also available. I got the CHICKEN BACON RANCH PANINI - it was really good but messy. Arrived sloppy dripping in ranch. I ended up having for fork & knife it. Good bacon, grilled chicken, slices of avocado. Would get ranch on side next time - It tastes like the typical restaurant supply big bucket of blah ranch. They need a house made ranch. The fried okra was really good! MONTE CRISTO - on a croissant. Completely soggy and unable to eat as a sandwich. Strawberry jam on it was a nice different touch. Had to eat with fork & knife. Not one of the better ones in the area. Fries were really good though. We will go back sometime and try breakfast.

Truly, the açaí bowls are good, but the stand outs were the toasts and coffee options. Surprisingly the protein waffle was delicious. We had some coffee connoisseurs and they liked the coffee here. The preparation of the toasts is really pretty and everything was eye appealing and fresh. I ordered a water and a black moldy lemon or lime slice floated up from the bottom of my water glass to the top as I stirred my water and took a drink! I fished out the extremely black moldy lemon or lime slice and showed the male "owner". He just said, "oh"....as I asked for another glass of water. We should've gotten up and left right then and there. But, after much discussion, we decided to remain. Since there appears there's only an elderly male and female working this place, we had to wait for the elderly female to get done sweeping outside to come in and cook our breakfast. Then our breakfast was served in shifts because she was doing the cooking and serving while the male was working elsewhere. We needed "to go" boxes and had to wait 5-10 minutes to get them...even tho we were only 2 of the 4 people in the whole place. This place isn't going to make it after it appears it has changed hands from years ago. At this point, we hope we don't end up with some kind of food poisoning from our experience.

I ordered the traditional breakfast with two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. Everything was okay, just not particularly memorable. The hash browns had no salt and weren't cooked all the way. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our meal. I want to be clear that she was not involved in what ultimately left us disappointed. The reason for the 2-star review was the ending to our visit. We had been seated for right at an hour when the hostess came to our table and asked if we could leave because there was a wait. We had already finished our meal and paid the check and were simply enjoying coffee while catching up with friends we hadn't seen in quite some time. We happily left and were gracious about the request. We understand there were several parties waiting, although from our table in the back corner we couldn't really see the crowd, and there had been plenty of open tables when we arrived. Even so, being asked to leave after only about an hour felt rushed and took away from what brunch is often about, relaxing and enjoying good company. I understand restaurants need to turn tables during busy times, but unless there's a posted seating limit, being asked to leave so soon wasn't something I've experienced before. It left us feeling like the focus had shifted from hospitality to table turnover. If you were to ask me about returning it would be a meh for me...food just ok and an inability to visit which is ultimately why we were there. With all of the brunch spots in the area, there are many others I'd recommend over this one. A little more flexibility, or simply allowing guests a bit more time to finish their coffee and conversation, would have made for a much more enjoyable experience and a slightly higher rating.
