No, this was really not a good breakfast. My pork chops were so hard, they could bounce off a wall like a rubber ball! Service takes way too much time - not enough serving staff. My husband had the SOS and it was very stingy on the meat. Even though the cashier tried to make it up with giving us $6.00 off and a free slice of apple pie, I cannot recommend this place for breakfast or lunch on the weekend. read more

First time here and I know I won't be coming back. There's a sign that says 'please wait to be seated' as soon as you walk in. I waited for not a long time and a lady finally comes to the stand and she goes "sit yourselves". I was a bit confused since the sign insinuated that we would be seated so I proceeded to ask, "anywhere?" Now let me tell you, this lady rudely pointed to the tables and said "go!" As for the service it was ok. Same woman was our waitress and I guess she realized she needed to be nice in order to get a tip. Food was terrible. This place is awesome. I've been there twice and they just opened a couple weeks ago. I've had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich was fresh, hot, tasty. Wasn't real impressed with the fries, they should not use precut frozen, probably would have given a 5 star if those had been fresh cut fries. Also went for lunch and had Steak and Eggs. Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Hash browns were awesome and everyone raved about the french toast. The pricing is perfectly in line to keep me coming back and coming more often than I would if it were pricier. I hope they keep it the same. They seem to always be busy so keeping the fingers crossed they stay around longer than last restaurant there. Did I mention that all the staff were friendly and attentive. Good food and friendly staff. The one down fall is there is one waitress in particular that you won't get coffee refills. I have been in a dozen times when not busy and have had her about half of the time and she just doesn't check on you. I have had a customer who apparently is a regular and gets his own coffee stop and refill mine. read more

They forgot my gravy and the manager brought it to my house. Are you kidding me? I had a big breakfast order pick up. And they accidentally forgot my gravy for the chicken fried steak. I called to let them know so maybe next they don't forget next time bc it was a big order and mistakes happen. And the manager gets on the phone and says I'm bringing it to your house. What? This diner was excellent! The door says they open at 7am, but we arrived around 6:45am and there were already people seated, so we walked right in. We had great services and the traditional breakfast that my son and I ordered was perfect! Even my son said, "my eggs are just the way I ordered them [over medium]". My eggs were perfect too. I love small mom & pop spots like this one. Food is a good price and you get huge portions. Quick service, we didn't have to wait long to get our hot food. We went for a late breakfast this morning and have to say completely disappointed. The others in my party thought that the food was "just okay". My meal however has NOT okay. After telling our waitress that there was a problem with my chicken tenders (rancid smell) I was told another plate could be made with fresher chicken. I said no thank you but Id like some sourdough toast. Needless to say, I never got the toast. The manager/owner didn't come out and say anything or apologize. They were fairly busy but that doesn't excuse the fact that nothing was done to fix the issue. We won't be back! read more
