First time here at the lodge for my wife and I's anniversary weekend get away. First of all I asked them if they could do a surprise dozen roses and a note for me to surprise my wife and they exceeded my expectations and charged me a reasonable amount to do it. That's amazing customer service and I so appreciated it and my wife was happy so bonus points there. Reasonable pricing for hotel room they are nicely updated and can't beat the view of the lake. Shower is hot and great water pressure. Beds are not bad pretty comfortable (I did bring my own pillows as I do every-time I go to a hotel my preference lol) The food was great my wife and I got the ground sirloin steak with potato's and veggies. Filled us both up and reasonably priced. Waiter was great, and food was served in a reasonable time frame. Not sure about everyone else saying they take forever, haven't seen that yet, will update for breakfast. All and all so far great service and will definitely be returning. Thank you again to the staff and owner for helping me surprise my wife, he went all the way to a florist to get the roses. How could you not leave a good review?

Meatloaf and gravy. Super salty and the gravy looked like Magic Shell.

We gave the Lakeshore Lodge three chances over the last year because there are few restaurant options in Lakeside. We also like being able to take our boat to the restaurant. Yesterday, I waited for a full hour to get a very disappointing sandwich. They comped my entire bill, which was nice, but this was last time I will go there. I was sure to tip the server because it certainly wasn't his fault there was no cook in the kitchen.

Our waitress was efficient and delightful. The food was delicious and the view beautiful. Glad we stopped by on our way to the dunes.

Not a bad place for all you can eat ribs. Limited dinner menus kind of expensive for what you get.

The Park is o.k. end of subject. It supposedly has Wifi but only certain lots get good WiFi. The…read moresituation has been discussed several times over the last 10 months When we moved here we were told better internet will be here in a couple of weeks and new arrived 4 months later and it is as bad as the previous and management refuses to do anything as it might cost more money (direct quote) I have never had the problem at any RV park I have lived in. The fact is the signal is so weak that even our Firestick with a booster will not connect. We were told we could get our own internet, and many people do that but, I will not. The WiFi is advertised on their website and it is false advertising. I have WORKED for 50 years on computers and have managed to keep the green light on and working with some very complicated computer systems. I am not a light weight when it comes to computers I have done a bit of programming. We were given a rent reduction because we wondered why new residents were given a better rate so ours was reduced by $100 probably for only one month. That does not alleviate the problem with the WiFi which I need because I am going to have to use it to work as my partner just had his $600 SSI check taken away, thank you DONNY, for removing the check of a disabled Vet. There is no sympathy or help from management and I am not able to work on the internet because every time I try the signal is so weak that the work times out; companies do not pay for time outs. Oh, by the way the satellite TV also sucks it has 17 channels and most of them are useless for anyone with half a brain to watch. If you have a high end RV you will want to be aware of the craters in the park that they routinely throw a little gravel in the holes when they should be using Quickcrete. When it rains the water around the office is ankle deep and you have to wade through it to get into the office, no apologies. When I asked about a French drain they said it had already been done. Later, I found out why; the park sits in the middle of a wetland and it will never be dry here, I cannot keep my spices dry or my sugar or my flour. We are looking further north so don't say why do you not move, We are seniors living on a fixed income and now even that has been greatly reduced, so moving is not so easy and when your health is not great it is very hard. Being told to move to another site in the park, requires bringing in the slides and makes a huge amount of work and management either does not know or does not care what it requires for two seniors (almost 80) to make that move just across the park. When I move it will not be to relocate just to get the internet. Make your own decisions. These are my opinions.

You also get a discount on your propane refills if you stay in the park to make up for the electric charge. You can put storage buildings on your site or build a porch for your RV. They have a pet area for the furbabies, and best of all, NO BREED OR WEIGHT RESRTICTIONS!! The only rule is they must be well mannered and friendly. The owner lives in the park, but he takes care of his wife who is terminally sick, so you don't see him much. Overall, this park is GREAT! The facilities are upkept and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, it is conviently located about 2mi from The Dunes, and witnin walking distance for crabbing and fishing in Winchester Bay, OR right on Hwy 101, and best of all AFFORDABLE! If you are coming through the area stop in and stay awhile, you won't regret it!

Great stop if you want a true full service RV stop in and around Coos Bay, Oregon. It bills itself…read moreas a luxury RV, tiny house, and airstream trailer destination on Coos Bay and it delivers. This is my second stay at Baypoint Landing and everything was very consistent with the first time I stayed. Very helpful and friendly people at check-in. This time I booked a back in Bayview site that was pretty much right on the water. Left the shades up in my back windows and woke up with a view of the bay every morning. I've only used the RV sites but the 20 or so airstream trailers. They have there look like they'd be fun as well. The amenities at Baypoint Landing are really nice. Two bocce courts, two horseshoe pits, a children's playground, a pavilion if you wanna have a little party. There's also about a half dozen washing machines and dryers in the laundry room that includes a big table for folding all your stuff. The laundry room is open 24 hours via a door keypad. There are also four unisex bath and shower rooms and one male and one female bathroom. These are also open 24 hours via the same door keypad. The shower rooms are really nice, plenty of room to spread out and hooks on the walls for your clothes and towels. There's an abundance of hot water. There's no shampoo or soap so bring your own. The building that the shower rooms and laundry is in also has about a half a dozen covered garbage cans for the trash from your RVs. All this is pretty centrally located in the park so you don't have to walk very far. Baypoint Landing is only about a 14 or 15 minute drive into the commercial part of Coos Bay that has several seafood themed restaurants and bars. The only nit that I have is that the grounds have become infested with what I called goats head. It's those little yellow flowering plants that also produce a very sharp burr that falls on the ground. I guess it's indigenous to this Bayside location so there's not much they can do about it. But it's everywhere, gets in your dog hair and stuck to their paws and even stuck to the bottom of your shoes. You need to check carefully when you get in your RV and pull everything off or you're likely to get these burrs on the floor of your vehicle which will give you a very nasty surprise if you're up walking around without shoes.

The website presents a much fancier image than the experience. Spent $121/night for a pull-thru…read morerv space on gravel pad, via gravel roads. The landscaping between sites is a weed-fest. The "fitness room" was a total disappointment. Asked the gal at check-in if they had free-weights. "Oh yes"she exclaimed. Really? 3 dumbell sets (10 lbs heaviest!) and no bench. Only machines were a couple of treadmills and stationary bikes. Fitness room for octogenarians? The pool is saltwater, and not big enough to swim laps. Maybe 10x40ft with stairs at one end. No spa. For the price of admission, this is pathetic. We've stayed at much less expensive resorts with far better amenities. This place relies on the location, which is decent, but not exceptional. You are on the bay, not the ocean, no with ocean access from the resort. In sum, we won't be returning; as the cost wasn't matched with value.
