    Roasted Carrot Salad

Had breakfast here for the first time this weekend. Came in right as they opened. I had the avocado toast and a side of chicken apple sausage. Everything was great. Worth noting that you order at the counter at this establishment and they bring the food to your table. Also a dog-friendly spot!

I had to take a trip to LA for an audition. It went very well hip hip hooray After finishing, I was hungry now my wife joined me for this trip. Nice day out beautiful ride. We found the Sycamore kitchen delightful attentive. My wife had her fluffy eggs with avocado. She was thoroughly happy They had pancakes and I'm a bit of a pancake snob. They were fantastic. My only recommendation is to ask for more syrup and it was good syrup, but yeah poor it all over those pancakes. They were hot when they were delivered to the table. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere delightful

Service was spot on. Parking is horrible when you see a spot grab it. Rookie mistake went on NBA all stars weekend and I think they all were on LA Brea when we went. The bar was my least favorite but the banana bundt cake I wish I bought more. I barely got a taste of the lemon as my son would not share. Cute place plan to come back for more items.

    Croque Madame and Yucatan Bowl

First time here and this place is amazing. I have the Yucatan Bowl and it was not what I was expecting. The Bowl ended up being delicious. I had a piece of the croque madame and it's your normal sandwich that just taste o so good. The best part of this brunch, was seeing Jesse Williams (Greys Anatomy) walking in and eating there as well.

Half a Bahn mi sandwich. They are huge for me share or two meals!

Excellent food! Love the Turkey Bahn Mi there! Not on traditional French bread but it is on delicious homemade brain bread. Also huge I share or two meals. Beautiful courtyard to eat in. Their specials are always good too. Everything is fresh and healthy! Excellent homemade breakfast breads, muffins, desserts etc Wonderful salads and homemade soups too! You will not be disappointed!

Good service, good food, good ambiance, conveniently close to Japan LA and Trader Joe's. Nice outdoor seating area..

Very good sandwich spot! Cute outdoor area, amazingly executed sourdough bread grilled to perfection! Soup was very good too! Service was quick and professional Will come back.

I really enjoyed this spot! Went with the cured salmon toast, I do wish it was on a regular toast, they serve this on more of a toast cracker. It came with a side salad and as silly as it sounds that was a huge standout. It was simple but so perfectly seasoned and dressed which shows their care and attention. I also ordered an ice cubano and that was pretty delicious! Their dessert options are also quality. The space itself was so pretty and inviting, I 100% recommend and will be back

We were surprised at how good their pastries are. The line was a bit of wait but the food was great. I'd definitely try it if I was in the area.

    Falafel bowls!

I always make it a point to grab lunch here when I'm in town. The food is delicious with lots of healthy options (falafel bowl is always great) & the baked goods are divine. Ahem -I say again, the baked goods are DIVINE! If they have agua fresca (regardless what flavor it is) do yourself a favor & try it, so refreshing especially on warmer days. Generally pretty busy but service is quick, the line to order moves fast & there's lots of seating.

CHICKEN SALAD TOAST, MEDITERRANEAN SALAD, and DEVILED EGGS
    Lauren A.

Nothing -- not a single thing -- we ordered here was good. Came here on Sunday afternoon for lunch and got the Mediterranean Salad, Chicken Salad Toast, and Deviled Eggs. I'm not one to reach for salt -- ever! But everything we had was bland. Nothing was heavy about anything we ordered, but we couldn't even finish it because of the flavor all of it lacked. Skip this spot -- plenty of other "cute" places on this block better worthy of your appetite and money.

    Shrimp tacos lunch special
    Courtney B.

The service is fantastic. Food is delicious. Ambiance is everything you want from a breakfast / lunch coffee spot. I recommend the shrimp tacos lunch special. The baked goods are delicious too if you need a pastry fix. The display is always filled to the brim with fresh exciting sweet treats.

Have visited this place a couple times since being in LA and everything I have gotten so far has been amazing! Their drinks, pastries, and food are all very photogenic and all very tasty. The indoor and outdoor seating is top tier. Even tho it is next to a busy road, you still feel like you're in a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It does get busy sometimes but even then I have still always been able to find seating.

Parking can be validated if you park in their parking garage on the opposite end of their building, not the one across the street (we didn't know which one until the worker told us) You take an elevator upstairs and the first thing that stood out to me was the aroma and the interior. It was really high end and looked very sleek. It looked really sleep and it was nice and cool inside as well. Their decor was minimalistic which I liked and it made the space look bigger. Multiple seating indoor and outdoor! My friend and I ordered 2 matcha einspanner's and their spicy miso carbonara. We got our drinks pretty quick but had to go up to ask about our food which was sitting at the counter but we could of easily missed hearing our name being called. The matcha was the perfect sweetness to me so I give it a high rating and the Carbonara was nice and creamy and included bacon bits but I didn't really taste any spice. The workers were really nice and sweet and helpful as well! There is an elevator that goes directly to AOU and a staff member was friendly enough to greet us in the elevator. As soon as we entered, we were immediately met with an open, modern, inviting space. There was plenty of seating indoor as well as outdoors. The cashier was also super friendly and even provided us with recommendations from their menu. We ordered the matcha einspanner, banana matcha cream, breakfast burrito, earl grey canele, and cinnamon roll. Everything we tried was delicious! Both matcha drinks were delicious and the banana flavor was not overpowering. The breakfast burrito came with two different salsas which were both so good! The earl grey canele was rich but the perfect amount. The cinnamon roll was also super soft and yummy! The menu is extensive so I definitely need to go back to try more! Can't wait to go back!!

This was one of the closer coffee spot with good reviews that I found near the kbbq place (Seogwan by Yellow Cow Kbbq) my family and I ate at for lunch. It was about 0.5miles (3 mins drive). The coffee shop is super large, bright, and has nice background music. There are plenty of seats for people to hang out or study. There are also street parking but can be difficult to cross the street due to cars driving by so quickly without a pedestrian crosswalk on one side. I ordered their signature drink which was the orange espresso tonic with one extra shot for my husband, and the double mango matcha for myself. Both of us really enjoyed the drinks, especially the orange espresso tonic. It was refreshing, clean, and easy to drink. Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top. Usually, I would enjoy a creamy matcha but it made me more thirsty on a hot day. The service took a bit of time since they had to mix my matcha the legit way with the bamboo whisk. The matcha tasted like premium, ceremonial matcha since it was stronger and authentic in taste. Overall, both drinks were enjoyable but if I had to choose one, I would go with the orange espresso tonic even though I love mango matcha!
