If I could give ZERO stars I would. I needed my sliding door looked at on my van. Upon pulling into the service area not a single sole acknowledged my presence. I entered one of the advisor's doors where a gentleman didn't even look up from his desk to greet me. I patiently stood in the doorway waiting for several minutes before he finally looked up and said "what do you need?" I explained my sliding door needed to be looked at but I already knew it needed a new roller which they probably need to order. I had 3 little kids with me and didn't want to sit around for hours if they weren't able to fix it in the same day. The gentleman replied with "Do you have 2 hours because that's how long you'll have to wait if you want us to look at the vehicle today?" Considering the issue was cut and dry, I was going to wait for the vehicle, and the part was most likely not in stock meaning I would have to schedule a time to come back for the new part to be installed... waiting 2 plus hours just for them to tell me all of this seems ridiculously silly. I decided to pass on this horrific dealer's service department and took my van to Tim's GMC where they took my van, inspected the roller, ordered a new roller, cleaned off the current one so the door would work better while we wait for the new part to arrive, and sent me out the door in under 20 minutes! Apparently Lamb's can't handle doing business like that! Too bad for them because I own 3 vehicles all of which could have been future business for them! I am very VERY disappointed in the overall experience with this company. It started off well enough over the Internet (Jimmy was very respectful) after going to the dealer and discussing my situation and concerns I start the process. I asked SEVERAL times if this was going to be a doable deal. I was assured NUMEROUS times by the financial person that it was not an issue. I specifically said I did not want to do this if I won't get the car. Supposedly all is well. A little over a WEEK later I get a call that says oh sorry, they said you needed 2000 CASH or come pick up ypur old car! If I'd had this- don't you think I'd have used this in the first place? Really use your brains! Oh wait...So now my credit is more f'd up than before, I had a car taken away AND I keep receiving emails from this a**backward only out for themselves and their numbers company. These people are liars in my eyes as they lied to me several times. I am not against Dodge, but I am against Dodge Lamb Chevy etc long name! read more

this dealership is a wast of my time,we went in to buy a 2020 cadi xt6 and spent 5 hrs.working a deal,didn't get what i wanted for my trade in but took what they offered. now they said they could't find the car we wanted,waited 4 days and they still could not locate the car we wanted.my wife located 4 cars in the valley on the internet giving that info.to the dealer but still no car.we cancelled the deal and drove down to chandler to coulter cadi and drove off the lot in 2hrs.getting 5k more for our trade in and in the car we wanted.we here all the radio commercials talking about the great deals they have and the folks in the valley drive up to lamb to save money,what are they kidding.what a joke ! read more

I've been going to this dealer with my chevy for several years and my experience has been on a par with other new car dealers...so so. No real complaints. But on my last visit a few weeks ago I was sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes or so when I remember a review I had read for these folks on this site by some guy who smoked. So I moseyed around to the back of the building and.... THERE IS a large parking lot back there and... THERE IS a lot of vehicles sitting there. And ...THERE IS my car sitting there. Hey, wait a minute, I thought. I DON;T SMOKE. What's going on here ? Then a mechanic came out of nowhere and with some profanity informed me ''You can't stand back here''.. Had I stumbled on the back entrance to Groom Lake ? Needless to say, I got the heck back to the safety of the customer lobby and free coffee (but NO SMOKING). I have purchased a number of cars and have all kinds of different experiences from dealerships over the years from really bad to really good. This experience was EXCEPTIONAL. I am in Phoenix and saw the vehicle I was interested in at Lamb, I contacted their internet department. Everything was done over the phone and email...when I arrived they had me in and out the door in an hour and 15 minutes with no hard press to buy anything extra other than what was already agreed to. I saw a comment earlier that they are just "real people", absolutely the case. If you are in Phoenix take the extra hour and head up the hill to get your next vehicle from them, it will probably save you a few hours and a lot of frustration. I bought a 2017 50th Anniversary Camaro. I got the front end clear protection put on at $895. I saw a lot of bubbling and was assured it would go away in a couple of days. A week later they had not gone away. I called and was told to bring it in the following wednesday. After getting there I was told they guy called in. I was told to come back. I went back a week later and arrived at 9:15am and was told the guy would "get on it." At 10:45am it had not been touched. I was told the guy couldn't be found but he was on the lot somewhere. Needless to say I was not happy and left. So now we are at about a month. A phone call was made to the guy we buy our cars from and was told we were not happy at all with the accessories dept. Especially when I could of had the same accessory done for $400 less. I received a phone call and was offered for my car to be hauled to Phoenix and the accessory manager (Dave) would go with it to supervise the work. I agreed. I received my car the next day with a complete new front piece. I was very happy with the result. Even though everything turned out good there was no need for the run around. We will still buy our cars and have them serviced there because they are awesome! I was going to get my Camaro super charged by them but after that debacle I am hesitant......we will see. read more

Heres my input for Lamb Chevrolet. I bought my 2009 Silverado from a smaller dealer in Prescott but financed it here. The finance department was very helpful, easy to do work with and had me on the road in about 2 hours they even sold me a 3 year warranty which wasnt offered at the other dealer all it did was raise my payment like $60 a month but hey i figure if i get a huge issue all i pay is my deductible. Finance overall ill give them 5 stars. Now as far as service is concerned my advisor had a bit of an attitude and hes a little bit of a hard ass but he stayed on top of things and he went the extra mile for me so it wasnt all his fault he did pretty good. Im just a little iffy about the technicians. I needed an oil pressure sending unit and that only fixed the problem for a day. Turns out i did need an oil pump after his technician said it was fine. So i took my business elsewhere. In the end i thank lamb for their help but i can honestly say i wont return for service but i dont mind buying cool stuff from the accessories store. read more

Den of snakes. Was looking for a decent used car so I came straight to a large Chevrolet dealership. Found an 08 impala with low miles for 5700 that looked very well cared for. I know 5700 isnt a lot of money but it's not chump change either. Salesman navigated me on a short test drive, when we returned I looked over the engine, no leaks no problems, I put 1600 down. Within two days of owning the car it began to have multiple problems, shaking while driving, motor mount broke, heater quit working, started leaking oil, temperature began fluctuating, tmps light came on. After 3-4 days the sales manager finally got ahold of me and told me to bring it in, the day after that they called again and said to come down, so I did, when I got there I was told the car would be too expensive to repair and that they wanted to put me in a 2012 Cruze($7k more) . When I told them I don't want a Cruze the salesman threw a fit then kept trying to put me into cars that cost 2-3x as much as the impala, and even mentioned trading in the impala on a newer car, 5 more hard inquires on my credit. When asked why i couldn't look at a car closer in price I was told I don't want that one, that it has too many problems and is going to auction, but to this day is still for sell for 7k on their lot. On return from a test drive all the other salesman were standing in the window smiling and laughing, when we entered the building they exchanged winks with my salesman. When I finally made it clear I'm not interested in that large of a loan they brought up making repairs on the Impala. The sales manager came out and said he can only fix a wheel bearing, a motor mount, and a the blend as they were the items that "affected the drivability" and that those items would cost them over 1,000.00 (lie) to repair and that I would get a receipt for my records. Reluctantly I tiredly agreed and when I picked up the car I was given no receipt, the car still shakes while driving, still leaking oil, still has a light on, driving home from the dealer it began to squeek and pour out smoke, someone undid the radiator cap and left it loose. I had to flush the cooling system and replace the thermostat at my own expense to fix the temperature fluctuation. I didn't trust them with the financial end and now I certainly don't trust them under the hood. Will be sueing for a cash settlement so I can have my car repaired by honest professionals. Bottom line, don't spend thousands of dollars here unless you want to immediately turn around and spend thousands somewhere else in repairs. Throughout the whole experience I was treated like a burden, an idiot, not like someone that just gave up $1600. Would have really liked an honest experience here with accountabilty but it's just a bunch of crooks. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER ! I took my truck here early one morning to get a door handle fixed. They gave me a price based on the part and 2 and 1/2 hours of labor to tear the door apart. At 8 am they took the truck into the service garage. About 45 minutes later I walked around the back to SNEAK a cigarette (that's life today) and was surprised to see my truck sitting in the rear parking lot with a lot of other vehicles. Well, having a full pack, a cup of coffee, and nowhere else to go I stood there for well over an hour and during that time no one went near my truck.....just sitting there in the hot sun ! I finally walked around to the front and asked my service advisor what the status was on the truck. He immediately picked up the phone and talked to someone for 10 seconds, hung up and said ''it's on the way up''. A minute later here's my truck with the door handle repaired. A neat trick if your sitting in their lobby sipping on free coffee, watching the morning news, and NOT sneaking a smoke. My complaint to the service manager fell on dead (yes, DEAD, not deaf ) ears. He was unable to add 2 plus 2 and admit the labor charge was for using their rear parking facility ! The general manager of the entire facility laughed at the fact that I had stood behind the building for such a long time . Later, after leaving, I realized what had happen . When I pulled in the service writer noticed my TEXAS PLATES and asked if I was moving to Prescott and stupid me replied ''no, just here on business ''. I suggested they take some chairs from that fancy lobby and put them around back so customers could really get a feel for how a crooked car dealer operated. On second thought that wouldn't work....no coffee, no television, hot sun, and YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE THERE. He did ask me if I wanted my old parts back and I told him he could take the old parts and shove them up his....TAILPIPE read more

The service dept is Horrible!!!!! We took our car in because of a recall. The only reason we took it to them to begin with is because of the recall. After I gave the keys to Richard Knight, I sat down to wait in that office. He said "no, the waiting room is in the front lobby". That should of been a red flag. Didn't they want me watching them work on my car (because I wasn't in the actual area were they were working, I was in an office to the side behind glass)? After the work was done and I was driving home I noticed the check engine light on. When my husband got home I told him and he took it to his mechanic the next day because we figured it just needed to be reset. His mechanic told/showed my husband several things that WERE NOT there the week before. When my husband called and asked to speak to the service manager, Richard answered. My husband told him about the light and was told " it just needed to be reset" which we knew , but in my opinion the tech should of done that to finish the job. My husband then proceeded to tell Richard about everything else that was found by our mechanic. Which was several clips were broken, things were unhooked and not rehooked, hoses replaced with not the correct hose and some wires were improperly reconnected in the WRONG spot. I understand that things might accidentally get broken, but show the car owner respect and tell them about it. Unfortunately, because of the attitude and just no concern from Richard we are rethinking buying a car from them. The service dept is bad, so why would we want to buy a car from them and when needed have to go to get it worked on by them? THE ONLY REASON I AM GIVING THEM 1 STAR IS BECAUSE IT MAKES ME RATE THEM SOMETHING!! read more

Lamb has been the only facility that has serviced my 2013 GMC Sierra. They are located only a mile or so from my home and I appreciated the convenience. First couple of years went fine, but October 15, 2015 they replaced my battery. A little checking after the fact revealed I could have gotten a much better battery (specs and warranty) for the same price elsewhere (e. g. Sears), or alternatively purchased an equivalent battery, again spec and warranty, for a much lower price (e.g. Wally world). Additionally, what would normally have taken 30 minutes or less at Sears or Wally world took about 2.5 hours. I made an appointment last week for an express oil change, confirming when I checked in that I wanted an oil change. They charged me the "special package" price and did a tire rotation that I did not request. I get my tires rotated at Discount Tire where I purchased them, and they do it for free. When I expressed my displeasure at their decision to do a completely unnecessary tire rotation, they offered to reverse it if I had another 45 minutes to wait. As I had already been there 1.5 hours or so I declined. They also indicated they had also done a 27 point inspection but I did not receive the form they normally provide to document the details, so it may or may not have been done. I just don't know. The people are nice, and my recent experiences, while really annoying, have not been absolutely horrible, but the trend is definitely in the wrong direction. I am now convinced there has to be a better solution, at least for routine maintenance. read more
