For starters, the staff was very welcoming. That was great. This is was my first time at the salon and I went in seeking SNS product however the options were limited so I guess I was talked into Gel on nails and toes, I've been doing SNS for 5 years but I was trying to be open to a new experience. Nails looked great for first couple days (literally) toe nails broke. 3 nails broke within a week . And I ended up taking the rest off which was not a struggle. This was my first time coming to this place. I found it through a Yelp search. I got "Lana's Diamond Pedicure" which includes: "trimming, shaping, cuticle cutting, massage, hot towel wrap, hot stone massage, sugar scrub, hydrating mask for feet exfoliation and moisturization and polish. Plus paraffin wax treatment for dry skin." Oh man! It was perfection. I tend to be extremely picky when it comes to pedicures. I hate when you pay for a pedicure and only have someone wash your feet. But here - the treatment is definitely above average. Lisa really pays attention to detail with regards to cuticle, skin, and shaping. Even the callous remover treatment was great. I must say the hot stones was a freaking fantastic touch!!! I am not sure if every person here does such exquisite work, but I will for sure be back to find out. I dont know how this place got a ridiculously high rating but this is complete BS. After a week of getting a full set done the acrylics have started breaking off. Today.. not even 2 weeks a whole nail came off. Wtf !! This is totally a sign not to ever come back or recommend this place. My experience was super quick but a long wait. At first i thought chau did a good job especially the shape and how quick she did them. I didnt want to write a review yet because i usually know after a week if the job was done right. Ive had my nails done before and after 3-4 weeks they still hold their shape. But this place.. not even a week my nails started to break and one even came off. I came to this nail salon because of the awesome reviews they had. I called before arriving, asked if they accepted walk-ins and if they were also busy because I was kind of in a rush. Point is I get there, and all these ladies are walking in with appointments every 30 minutes. They took the first two. Ok. They hd appointments. But they took 4 ahead of me! Whaaaat. Worse experience ever. Wait was over 30 mins on a Monday evening. Once I got to the lady she began furiously cutting my cuticles. Suddenly I felt a deep sharp pain. She was scuttling skin. Blood rushed to the surface and she began to look for a clean cotton ball. If that wasn't enough every time I removed my other hand from the water she shoved it right back. 5 minutes passed and my hand remained submerged despite my efforts to dry them. She wiped my hand with the blue antespectic they use to disinfect their tools. This was the kicker...she then proceeded to cover my open bleeding wound with nail glue. NAIL GLUE! all without an apology. I decided to leave with my bleeding finger and wrinkly right hand. This is unsanitary and sick. I hope I don't get an infection from this or they are looking at a lawsuit. Left in pain and bloody. read more

I came to this place because it was recommended and well I didn't even get a chance to get any thing done. They made me wait for 30 minutes to tell me they couldn't take me until 5(been there since 3:30) simply because TWO customer who had appointments showed up after me...mind you both got there late...one 30 mins late the other one 20 mins late. STAFF SUFFERS FROM NAIL DESIGN ANXIETY!! Expect a fight when you bring up nail design because they will try to talk you out of it. (Except for Annie and former employee Lisa) I wanted to have a classic half moon design on my GEL manicure but Leslie REFUSED to do it because it was too hard. I gave up on the design. Love this place! It's clean, small, and priced right. The first time I came, Leslie, the owner I believe, did my pedicure. She was sweet and did a great job. I went somewhere else the next time I needed a pedi and regretted my decision. Came back to this place and got Leslie again. Still super sweet and did another great job! The third time I came, I got a different girl, unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she also did a fantastic job! Leslie definitely knows how to run her business. These positive yelp reviews do not lie. It's super hidden. It's at the same complex as the McDonald's. I've never had any issues finding parking in their parking lot. They accept cc and you can save $1 if you check in on yelp. If you're in a need of a pedi, definitely hit this place up. read more

So I'm a few days late on posting this, but here goes. I went here for a acrylic removal and get a new set and a pedicure; my experience was awful. I had someone they said her name was Ivy, she was removing the old nails on my right hand with a small pointy tool and a nail. She ripped my real nail to the point that my skin was out, she never tried to put anything on it to prevent an infection, I had to tell her to do it. I asked her to remove the remaining nails by soaking and she said "oh you want to soak".... Ummmm maybe she should have done that from the get go. She soaked my hands and proceeded to do my pedicure, well fast forward. She placed the new acrylics on my hands and did an okay job filing the nails to the shape I like, well she started to paint a French tip for me and it was bubbly and thick looking, I asked her to fix them. Another lady (possibly the manager) came over and said she didn't see anything wrong. Well of course she will tell me that, she tried again and the paint job was awful, it looked like a young age child painted my nails. I made her remove the color and she tore my skin with the nail file while removing the paint and filing, I told her she tore my skin again and she had nothing to say, yet again. I had already been there for 2 hours and couldn't take it anymore; I went to pay and the lady who claimed nothing was wrong with my nails said in a nut shell that she didn't care what I write for a review because other customers are happy with them, she also tried to charge me $5 for removing my old nails, I refused because Ivy tore to my skin. In my opinion don't waste your time or money here because the attitudes and sloppy work don't justify the expense. On a side note, out of all the workers there, I only saw one state license to do manicures. SMH IF I COULD RATE THEM ZERO STARS, I WOULD HAVE!!! read more

Literally love this place! The costumer services is great!! They are so nice and courteous. They always offer you water and candy, which I think is really sweet of them. I've come here twice and so far they always do an excellent job. They honor your appointment time which is a plus. Once you are assigned to a technician she'll offer you water and a massage from the massage chair if you're getting a pedicure. I got the standard pedicure and gel manicure. I really liked that they exfoliated my feet and legs with a yummy smelling citrus scrub. The place is very clean. They sterilize all their equipment. The technicians are very polite and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I have finally found a nail salon I can see myself returning to for years to come. read more

This is a no-frills salon that has great prices! I got a gel manicure ($19 I believe) for the first time, and I absolutely loved it. Mine lasted a little over 3 weeks (which seems to be more than the average gel manicure), so I'm definitely coming back here before my wedding. I didn't feel rushed or awkward because my manicurist took her time and didn't try to up-sell me anything. I was able to enjoy my time here! The ladies are super sweet and I can't wait to go back! Lisa helped me, she was super friendly and made conversation with me right away, I've been to alot of place where the lady never days a word just "what color would you like?" I had a complicated design and wasn't sure if she can do it, but all she did was look at the picture and she was able to transform it to my nails. I love the way they came out. This is my mom and sister's regular place so I thought I'd try it out. Now I come every 2-3 weeks! The staff is always very friendly as soon as you come in the door. I love the hospitality here. As soon as I sit to get a mani or pedi, one of the girls brings me a bottle of water without even asking me. ALL the girls take their time and do a fabulous job. I always get my nails done by a different girl here and I'm always happy with the results. Sometimes they get busy so make sure to call ahead before coming in to ask when the best time to go in would be. Otherwise, you MAY have to wait a little bit but that's expected of a good nail place. The inside is nicely decorated and very clean. There is always relaxing music playing and it's nicely air conditioned. After endless searching for a good quality and fair priced nail salon in my area, Yelp helped me find Lana's! Today was my first visit and I absolutely loved my experience! I called in advance to see their price range and was kindly greeted over the phone which, I might add, attracted me more. Once I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and Leslie remembered my voice from when I had called. Everyone in the salon was super nice (including the waiting customers), my wait time was quite short, and they even offered me a complementary water bottle while I waited. So sweet! Cindy was manicurist, and although limited English, she did an awesome job! I showed her a picture, as reference, of how I wanted my nails to look and she excelled! I wouldn't even think to listen to the bad reviews. My nails cost $19 because I asked for oval shaped rather than classic square-shaped. I don't think the pricing is bad for the quality you get at Lana's. Especially since you get a $1 off every visit once you check in through Yelp! Not until one day, I decided to get a Pedicure and bring my mom along for one too. It wasn't until 2-3 days later we BOTH realized we caught athletes foot from here. We are both very clean. What a coincidence we both caught it at the same time living in different households. I do not recommend this place. It took us two weeks to get the fungus completely removed.
