Came on a Sunday at around noon and it was about a ~15 minute wait for solo dining, not bad! I ordered the Chicken Waffles and it was a lot of food in my opinion, so I'd say the pricing is fair ($26). The fried chicken was crispy and flaky on the outside, and tender on the inside. The ube latte was decent, I felt it was more milky rather than ube flavor. Overall the presentation of food and drink was cute! I'll definitely consider coming back if I'm in SF and looking for brunch.
Came here on a Saturday for brunch. I got the Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette. It had ground chicken and veggies inside, and the chicken and basil were the flavors that stood out. I wouldn't call it spicy at all. The omelette felt small for the price and there wasn't much filling inside. It came with a side of potatoes that were really good. They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
I came in at 9am on a Friday with a friend and got seated right away. The place was still packed, so it took a little while to order. There is a good amount of seating, but the tables are quite close to each other (your neighbors will be eavesdropping). We ordered the smoked salmon toast and a florentine benedict. The salmon was fresh and the toast was stacked! My friend wasn't too impressed with the benedict, but it was good. The side salad that it comes with is actually delicious! And if you have a sweet tooth, order an ube latte or thai tea, and finish with a Sweet Dream. It comes with waffles and a side of fruits, ice cream, fudge, and whipped cream.
We ordered a few different dishes to get a feel for the restaurant as a whole. First, the restaurant had ample seating, and we were sat quickly. Seats behind me had enough room for both my party and the party behind us to get out easily. Service was a little slow. Having to ask to refill our coffee should not come up, especially when the restaurant was not super busy. Some of the food was good, some was not what I would have expected. The salted caramel macchiato was cute with the coffee ice bear on top, and tasted good. The Tom Yum burrito was good. It didn't need the sauce but that added even more flavor. I do recommend this. The fried chicken eggs Benedict was mid. I truly expected more from this. The outside part of the chicken had no flavor, and even the hollandaise sauce was slightly disappointing. I'd give it a 3/5. We also ordered the Dungeness crab omelet. It was extremely bland. The crab also was old, it tasted fishy. I would not get that again. As it was the most expensive dish in the menu, it should have popped.
I'm someone who is vegetarian (no eggs) and I don't eat onions or mushroom. I loved that they had at least 1 vegan option in their menu and they even accommodated my other needs for the meal. The Tofu Scramble was good, and I like the salad and fries a lot. The service was really good, our server was super kind and helpful. The ambiance and the overall vibe of the place was so refreshing and nice. Very few places have a vegan/vegetarian brunch option and this is one of them
This is my FAVORITE brunch place for the food. They have a delicious and unique french toast and everyone I bring here loves it. However, after coming here for over 3 years, they have become way more stingy with the portions and fruits. I attached a recent photo, but they added a lot of fruit and had better presentation back then. There is always a line, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. It gets quite busy and loud so I wouldn't recommend a big gathering here.
Wonderful experience, I came on Mother's Day around 12:45pm and had to wait about 30 mins to get seated for a party of 6. The restaurant is beautiful with a lot of natural light, perfect ambiance for a brunch. They even had Mother's Day themed napkins which I thought was very nice. I really enjoyed the Lapisara burger though it's so humongous that it's actually a bit challenging to eat haha. The chicken and waffles were also very solid. I thought the Tom Yum burrito was a bit uninteresting. It was just a lot of rice wrapped up in a tortilla, the tom yum sauce it came with was good but it wasn't enough to make the dish amazing for me. Overall, excellent experience, I would highly recommend for a cutesy brunch.
We got the ube latte and iced Thai tea. The ube latte was nutty and delicious. I just wish it had been a tad bit hotter, but I'm sure you can ask for it extra hot. The iced Thai tea was well-balanced and not overwhelmingly sweet. The chicken waffle was also good--especially the chicken itself. It was lightly battered and crisp to perfection. I do wish the waffle was more toasted since it was a bit soggy even with barely any syrup. The fruits were fresh and tasted really yummy. As for the PaNang omelette, it was delicious!! It's filled with meat and vegetables, so it's pretty hearty. The curry was so good and had just the right amount of spice. I would highly recommend the PaNang omelette. Parking was difficult since it's in the Tenderloin, but it was definitely worth it. The workers are nice, and the place is really cute.
my party of 8 came at around 11 on sunday (father's day) and waited a little over 35 minutes to get seated. the eatery's atmosphere is bright, pleasant, and clean. the prices are pretty standard for brunch spots. in terms of food, i really liked my salmon toast. i kinda wish i tried their thai-adjacent dishes, but perhaps, i'll save that for next time.
Super cute cafe that's been in my bookmarks for over a year! Finally, we dined here on a weekday at around noon. Even found a parking spot right outside after circling once around the block. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded and there were a few tables available. I believe weekdays are less crowded. ***OUR PICKS*** CHICKEN WAFFLE ~ Their fried chicken is more crunchy and possibly done with mochiko flour. It has that texture verses fried chicken made with all purpose flour. Chicken was juicy and tender. Waffle was fluffy but not crispy. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable. The berries surrounding the waffle were nice and sweet. Portion is a bit smaller than the other dishes that we ordered. 4/5 FRIED CHICKEN EGGS BENEDICT ~ eggs perfectly oozy and delicious with the sauce! Crunchy chicken was good too! I only wished the potatoes had a crisp exterior. Still a yummy dish! 5/5 PERFECT PANCAKES ~ soft and fluffy pancakes with eggs over medium with chicken maple sausage. I didn't try this, but the person eating this was satisfied with it. 4.5/5 ICED UBE LATTE ~ really cute purple teddy bear ice cube sitting on a cloud of whipped cream and a daisy flower atop of lightly sweetened ube latte. Good till the last drop. Lovely and adorable! The bear stole my heart! 5/5 Wonderful service, delicious food, beautiful presentation, lovely atmosphere! Definitely a winner, in my book!

Delicious! Love that the Thai culture has fully embraced brunch and all these fusion brunch spots are popping up in the Bay Area. Came here for brunch with my girl and Lapisara did not disappoint. My cappuccino was delicious, strong, great foam ratio. Her ube latte was not overly sweet and good flavor. (Of course the cute cups were an added bonus). I ordered the panang beef omelette without the toast and it was so good! Flavorful, tender beef, egg was not over cooked and when you broke into the omelette the delicious curry started pouring out. Salad was fresh and potatoes crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. My fried had the crab omelette which was also very good! Excited to come back and support this place, all their items look so delicious. Inside was very cute and modern, ample seating and very friendly staff.
Came here because of the high review. This is was brunch menu. Ordered steak and eggs steak was very chewy. I ordered medium rare. Spicy bacon not spicy, more sweet than anything. It tasted like bacon and chamoy Please avoid ordering the chicken and waffles. The chicken had no flavor at all. Dry, not crispy and absolutely horrible... three people ordered it and they all tasted the same. It wasn't a mistake, it was intentional. Anyways won't be back and the service was mediocre.

Me and my husband had a getaway weekend to the city. I was looking for gluten free friendly places to eat breakfast and found Lapisara. I got the classic breakfast and my husband got the dungarees crab Benedict. The food was soo good. Never have i ever eaten a salad with breakfast but it all went together well. The lattes are so good as well and love the cute bear theme. A bear ice cube made from iced coffee what a great idea! read more

All looks awesome on the menu to attract most attention on its dish design and colorful set. For the cuisine, not very favorite at American food (such as omelets, sausage or waffle, not yet in this kind of brunch store), ordered Avocado and Salmon Toast, with 3 drinks. The latte is presented beautifully, a little too sweet though. The coffee is very plain and boring. Anyway, it would be worth revisiting for other items of Benedict, Burger & Sandwich, and properly Scrambles. It is not often that I go to any meal and leave with no notes, but let me tell you, this meal truly had no notes! We tried an array of brunch dishes from the amazing Thai Panag omlette which was meaty, flavorful, spicy, a bit sweet, but overall a flavor bomb of omlette to the whitest dish you can imagine, a crab benedict. Both dishes were immaculate with such different flavor profiles and achieved what we wanted. The Croffle we had also was a great dessert and unique, which is hard to do at brunch. Coffee and drinks were great - love the cute little mugs. The service was friendly and caring, this woman who may have been the owner came to check on us too, she was great. We only had to wait 2-3 minutes, which was also perfect. Clearly a busy place with a lot of love, but also not a 30 minute wait - honestly what could be better! We will definitely be back. read more

Suuuuper yummy!! The drinks were ok but the food was where this place shines. The garden omelette was flavorful and fresh, filled with tons of veggies. The brioche French toast was coated in a nice crumb ish texture over a soft sweet bread. The amount of fruits were ample and perfect. The strawberry croffle was just dessert at that point ahah. Very decadent and very filling and very sweet. The ambiance inside is super cute. Perfect place for a nice brunch with friends. Stumbled up on this place while hungry and frantically searching for good places in SF . Ambience is cute, service is fast. Loved the Thai fusion menu. Many items on the menu caught my eye. I had the mocha, hot ube tea as well. It was served in a cute but difficult to drink cup . Tasted great, loved the ube sugar on top. We ordered chilli bomb omelette and garden eggs Benedict. I wish they had option to customise the menu to be veg . Like we wanted the Tom yum burrito without the meat but they couldn't do that. Parking is a nightmare but glad we came here on a weekday and avoided the weekend crowds. read more

So glad I finally tried Lapisara! Such a unique breakfast spot in the city. I went on a Saturday morning and waited about 30 minutes; it was totally worth it. I got the Thai Panang omelette and it was so good. Slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and packed with flavor. Definitely something different from your usual brunch options and I was surprised by how much I liked it. The staff was really nice as well. Can't wait to come back! read more

Stopped by this spot for a Valentine's brunch and was pleasantly surprised! The interior was cute and the food was good. I ordered a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, bacon, and french toast. The bacon was crispy and I liked the breading on the french toast; I also really liked the presentation of the food, with the flowers giving it a photogenic touch. The ube latte was also good but a little watery. read more
Decent brunch spot overall. We got the avocado toast and the huevos rancheros; both had decent portion sizes and were pretty filling. The flavors were good, though I wish the avocado looked a bit fresher and more vibrant green. Came here for a solo brunch and was so glad I did! I love Asian fusion brunch spots and Lapisara has now been added to my rotation! The salmon croffle was soooo good- was not expecting the croffle to be so good but the texture was perfect. The tomyum burrito was also really good- I loved how the tomyum flavors came through. The ube latte was not only delicious but absolutely adorable! The service was great, despite me eating alone they were super attentive. Will definitely be back! read more

I've been here twice and have really enjoyed both experiences! First time we had a reservation and we were seated as soon as we all arrived. Great, fast service. The food was so tasty and the presentation was adorable. Even though the place was packed, we didn't feel rushed. Second time, we showed up without a reservation and waited for a little while. But we were willing to wait seeing how quickly groups were getting seats. Once again, great friendly service and food was delicious. This is a perfect brunch spot close to downtown (you can walk from Powell st Bart station). Also a great place to go before a show at nearby theaters. read more

We had the most perfect start to our morning at Lapisara Eatery during our girls trip. The whole experience felt so happy, relaxing, and beautiful , exactly what we were hoping for to begin the day. The restaurant itself is lovely and very clean, with such a charming and cozy atmosphere. Everything feels thoughtfully presented and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast croissant sandwich was soft, buttery, and tasted very fresh. The waffles were amazing , light, fluffy, and perfectly prepared. The avocado toast was also very yummy and fresh, with great flavor. One of the highlights was definitely the ube drinks. Whether cold or warm, they were both delicious and so beautiful. Honestly, almost too cute to drink! Service was wonderful as well. Our waitress was very polite, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had such a lovely breakfast here and would happily come back next time we visit San Francisco. Highly recommend! read more
Stumbled upon this place over the weekend. The menu looked interesting with the Thai brunch fusion. I had the Thai Panang Omelette and it was really good! Flavor was solid. The salad that it came with was very refreshing. They toasted the veggies really nicely too. It had a very light crisp to it which was nice. The only thing that I didn't like was that the beef was overcooked. It was pretty hard and chewy. Really needed the knife to cut much smaller pieces to consume. This was my last stop in San Fran before heading back to the airport to come home, and it was a great way to top it off. My friend is finishing up a grad degree at UC Berkeley, and we wanted to meet for a meal while I was in town. I'm the foodie, but he's more local, so I let him pick. What a pleasant surprise that this place is in Yelp's top 100 brunch US spots! So they are most definitely known for their brunch, and overall their menu is American with a significant Thai inspiration. My friend and I settled at a table and the service was lovely -- I was a bit amused by the covers of all the top songs playing throughout our time there, haha. And bonus because there was an outlet nearby where I could charge my dying phone, whew! I got a Sweet Ginger cocktail, and it took me a while to decide my food until I saw... pandan coconut rice. PANDAN COCONUT RICE?! Who does that?! It was a part of an entree of salmon and asparagus, so that was a no brainer. The picture doesn't do it justice, but the rice was a beautiful light shade of green, and it had a slight crisp to it from the coconut. It was a delicious, fantastic meal. Hopefully the next time I visit San Fran will be outside of work, because I definitely want to come here and try their famous brunch. What an experience! read more

The presentation is the best. I ordered the Pacific Scramble and it was really meaty, lots of shrimp and crab. There was a lot of cheese and the egg was really good,. There's often moments in life where you find two things mixed together and you have no idea what to make of it. "Country" and "Rap" ... "Luxury" and "Streetwear" and at some point in the 1960s America "Civil" and "Rights" - which of course proved to be one of the greatest movements. I felt the same thing when I saw the words "Thai" "Brunch" in succession. Has this ever been done before? What could this possibly look like? Is SF ever going to experience the pre-COVID electric atmosphere or will it forever be stuck in its current malaise state of purgatory? My mind was restless; I believe I experienced the mildest of panic attacks. All of these fears were quickly quelled the moment my nostrils sniffed the inside of this fine establishment, and thine eyes saw the dishes. Phenomenal! The drinks were gorgeously made, cute, and even whimsical; highly recommend the Taro tea as you sip it from a little bear. I ordered the pork and rice, and boy was it cooked to perfection! Every bite superseded by the next. If you're a private equity firm or just someone interested in a unique culinary experience, invest in THAI BRUNCH immediately as Lapisara Eatery in SF, won't disappoint. Stopped by here on a Tuesday around 12:45 pm and had about a 30 minute wait. My friend and I ordered the Ube Latte, Matcha Latte, Smoked Salmon Benedict and the Sweet Dream. Everything tasted delicious, except for the Ube latte which tasted a bit water down unfortunately. The matcha latte however had a perfect amount of sweetness! Both of the lattes came with an iced bear on top which added to the cuteness of these drinks. The Smoked Salmon Benedict was a decent portion, it came with potatoes and a salad. All the flavors worked well together! The Sweet Dream essentially had Belgium waffle pieces, Nutella, vanilla ice cream, and mixed fruits! The restaurant had a nice ambience, I believe it was graduation day for some folks so that was the population of some groups at the establishment but I would say this restaurant is pretty "hip" overall. The parking isn't the easiest in this area so def look into parking garages if you can't find street parking! read more

We stopped by for breakfast and were greeted by super friendly staff and prompt service, which made for a great start to the morning. We tried the Sweet Dream Waffles and the Thai Panang Omelette. Both dishes were good. The plates were full as they have good portions. The waffles were okay but came with icecream, fruit, and whipped cream which made it nicer. The eggs were really good. Would definitely order again. A delightful spot for a hearty breakfast or brunch. The standout has to be the Thai Panang Omelette for its flavor and uniqueness, but you can't go wrong with the Sweet Dream Waffles either. I'll happily come back to try more menu items! read more

Laprisa is a great little breakfast spot within walking distance -- no reservations needed, which is a big plus for a casual morning bite. We had the crab omelette and the Farmer's Special with apple chicken sausage. The omelette was tasty and well-cooked. The Farmer's plate was solid overall, though I wasn't a fan of the sausage -- too sweet and just didn't hit the mark for me. What really stood out were the drinks: the regular coffee and mocha were both excellent -- rich, smooth, and definitely worth coming back for. All in all, a good spot for a relaxed breakfast. I recently went to Lapisara and when we first got there it did seem a little busy, but we were seated within just a couple of minutes which was great. The first thing I noticed walking in was that people had coffees shaped like little teddy bears. It was so cute and instantly made the place feel fun and unique. I definitely want to try a teddy bear coffee next time. Our orders were taken super fast, and the kitchen was moving quick. The people next to us actually got their food before they even got their drinks, which shows how efficient they are in the back. Even though the food came out fast, it was still really good and didn't feel rushed at all. There was barely any wait time for anything. The waiter checked on us a few times to make sure we were good, which I really appreciated. I loved this place, would definitely recommend it, and I would for sure go back if I'm in the area again. read more
Crispy fried chicken on a soft waffle by surrounded by seasonal sweet mixed berries. Complement with a sweet warm matcha latte served in a cute bear glass and you have got yourself a hearty brunch. Despite our long wait outside brunch was served quickly. Unfortunately the wait is a bit long on weekends especially if your whole party is not present yet so make sure to go early and have everyone ready to go. Lapisara Eatery is an aesthetically pleasing brunch restaurant. It's a vibe! We had a party of 10 and the staff were accommodating of our crew. Two things stood out to me: 1) the menu contained classic brunch items, however they had a handful of items with a Thai-influence, i.e. Tom Yum Burrito and Thai Panang Omelette. 2) the presentation of their drinks and food needs to be applauded. When you're paying a few bucks more for a swanky lunch, this is exactly what you want to see when it hits the table. Thai Panang Omelette ($24) // Beef, rich panang curry paste, kaffir lime leaves; contain peanut. This was the mashup I never knew I needed. My only qualm was that the beef was a bit tough/overcooked. Other than that, I love the depth of the flavors from the curry itself. It was rich and aromatic. Innovative dish! Also take notes on the breakfast potatoes. These are the ELITE and TOP TIER version of breakfast potatoes. They might even be a frozen product, but I don't care. They're tender and soft and delicious! For a group of 10, they took care of us relatively well. Prices might seem high at first, but like I mentioned they had wonderful creativity, big portion sizes, and delightful presentations. read more

Please be aware of the neighborhood. They had people coming in trying to dine and dash. Ube latte tastes like milk, not a lot of ube flavoring or any coffee/tea taste. Their food was good though! Thai fusion in American breakfast was not in my books. When we got there around 9am, it was getting busy. There's a sign in sheet if it gets too busy. Food was delicious, and the espresso vodka drink was supper yummy!!! I definitely recommend this place for a cute brunch in the city. Although the line can be long, it moved fast. I made a last minute reservation and got seated in a little table outside. Wasn't the best table.... A bit sticky, cornered, and unstable but... I let it go as soon as I tried the food. I'm certain for what I saw on my way to the restroom, that the inside is a better spot (if available). Anyways, it makes me happy to have such a variety of cool places in Lower Nob Hill. A cute spot near the tenderloin. I had seen this place on social media advertising their drinks so when my friend and I were in the ware we decided to stop by. It was on a Friday and we were seated very quickly. The huevos rancheros were ok, they were not the best I've had but the flavors were good. The fried chicken Benedict however was amazing! I tried the holy basil omelette. The meat was well seasoned and the salad and potatoes provided a nice change of pace. The flower on the chicken plate had a tiny bug on it which was a bit unfortunate. The fried chicken was crisp with the meat being juicy. My partner had the Tom Yum burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of few places with Thursday brunch. Street parking fairly easy a couple blocks away. Reservations made a few weeks in advance. * Latte - 2 stars - they sprinkled coffee grounds on top, didn't love it. Watery and a little burnt. * Greyhound - 3.5 stars - Nice & light, tart, hint of spice, but overall a bit watered down. * Lavender sour - 3 stars - Too strong lavender flavor. Great brunch spot! Similar to the newer sister restaurant (The Royale) in Pleasant Hill. Lapisara restaurant in Nob Hill is a bit more homey and not quite as elegant as The Royale. Still a good location with excellent menu and good service. Fiancée had the Breakfast Croissant wonderfully filled with creamy scrambled eggs and chicken sausages. Plus a side of perfectly fresh fruit salad with a delicious cappuccino. I had the Meat Lover's omelette with a lightly dressed salad and a mountain of Amarosa and other baby potatoes. This was a special trip but we'll go back when in the area. Food quality 5, overall 4.5, at reasonable prices too. read more

The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 5:45pm on a Sunday night and did not look as inviting as it did in photos I had seen here and other platforms. The restaurant had an odd Oder of old wood and strong cleaner fluid. The waiter was nice and helpful. We started with the Tom Kai soup which was absolutely delicious. Our appetizer was the fried chicken, which was the oddest looking dish ever - looked like light tempura with very little bits of chicken. It was tasty and the sauces were extra good. We also had the drunken noodles which were not at all hot as we expected- but we were happy to request more hot sauce (that had accompanied the fried chicken) to spice it up perfectly. The dish was spiced perfect with the non hot spices. We also had the Babcock holy chicken on rice with an egg. This dish was not hot and was overly salty. Would not order it again. I certainly Wilde eat here again with hopes that the Oder was a temporary anomaly. read more

After a late flight into San Francisco, we arrived at Lapisara Eatery for our 8:30 pm reservation just as the kitchen was preparing to close in about 30 minutes. Even so, our server was incredibly welcoming and assured us that we could relax and enjoy our evening as long as we wanted -- we just needed to place our food order before the kitchen closed. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pad thai and tuna tartare. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. What really made the evening special, though, was the outstanding service. Our server was warm, engaging, and genuinely attentive throughout the meal. When he learned that one of our friends was celebrating a birthday, he surprised us with a lovely ice cream and chocolate dessert complete with candles. It was such a thoughtful touch and the perfect ending to a wonderful evening -- great food, exceptional hospitality, and a memorable experience all around. We will definitely be back! read more

Decided to try this spot with my bf on a Friday as it's been in my saved list. We made a reservation at 5:15pm but definitely didn't need it because we were basically the only ones dining in the restaurant the whole time we were there. Service was lovely! But I think their food is what really makes them stand out. Here's what we ordered: - Fresh rolls: very grassy, but I mean it's all veggies (and tons of spinach) so that is to be expected. Not sure I would order it again, but the dipping sauce was really good and if you like eating raw leafy greens then this is the app for you! - Mussamun curry: yummm this was really good. Savory and a little sweet! The beef was also nice and tender. The toast they added to dip into the curry sauce was so good! - Moo yang: if you've ever been to Macau and had the pork jerky there.....this is EXACTLY what that tastes like!! Really good and they are not skimping on the pork! Like do you see that mound of meat?!?? - Taste of the ocean: last but certainly not least! This dish blew my mind. They cooked the salmon so well - it is so soft and tender. The cilantro sauce on the side is just insane and pairs so well with the salmon. Next time I come back I am most definitely ordering this dish again. Would love to come back and try their brunch! read more

Came for bottomless brunch on a Sunday ~12:30PM & had a quick 15-20 minute wait for 2 people. We were seated outside in the parklet which was nicely spaced out, the inside looked like it might've been elbow to elbow at the tables. Service was excellent and they checked on us multiple times even though we were one of the only tables outside. The garden omelette was a generous portion that came loaded with veggies and a delicious side salad + potatoes. The bottomless mimosas were $25 and the whole table has to participate, and you can choose one flavor per carafe. Would highly recommend the lavender lemonade flavor! I believe the kitchen and bar both close at 2PM so come earlier if you want to enjoy your full bottomless experience! read more

Both...for lunch there is the Tom Tum Burrito...but for dinner they serve both the soup and burrito.
