I highly recommend them…read more I went through 6 weeks of hell with no AC ... waiting on hold FOR HOURS with HSA home warranty co, calling and calling to the first AC repair company - Mechanical Services of Tidewater - who rarely answered the phone and had no voicemail and waited a week to set up a service appointment, blah blah blah. I was pissed, hot, and exhausted. When Mechanical Services of Tidewater decides to COMPLETE (close) the trouble ticket after doing NOTHING ... the home warranty company reassigned it to AirDuct Care. THANK GOD!!! AirDuct Care - Irina/Vicky, Alex, and Bill - were my saving grace. They went through their own hell dealing with HSA home warranty and the equipment mfr. They were ready to do the install but the other inept companies cancelled orders and a variety of other SNAFU's that drug the whole thing out for WEEKS. All along, Irina/Vicky kept at it. Calling, following up, sitting on hold, pushing, trying to get equipment delivery dates, etc. All the while she actually answered the phone when I called. She was always accessible. After the hours (like a total of probably 10 hours - no exaggeration) on hold and getting cut off with HSA - this meant A LOT! Bill - the technician - was great. Knew his stuff. Acted decisively. When install day came he was meticulous. Alex - owner (?) and an engineer - was super careful to ensure I was getting the right equipment and managed the crane it took to get the unit up on the roof. He was wonderful. Everyone I worked with at AirDuct was professional, knowledgeable, and had great follow through. Because of the hell I had gone through before I was BLESSED to get AirDuct assigned to my case - made them even more appreciated. AirDuct Care is a great company. Great communications and responsiveness. Skilled technicians. Professional job. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Thank you all. I'm in heaven with my new H/VAC and Nest thermostat. We've had workers come into our home who had no clue what they were doing, left parts laying around instead of plugged in where they were supposed to be, and behaving in ways that I'd just say we did not care for and were very surprised by. When we called we'd get no response after multiple attempts, emails would go unanswered, and on and on. The more interactions, the worse the treatment got. When we looked at the DPOR website that checks licensing for the State of Virginia, we quickly learned that the actual company had either been bought out or taken over or merged (however you want to say it), by some company. I don't know the reason(s) for what in my opinion is unsatisfactory customer service or if being acquired has anything to do with it; but....yeah.....in a world gone insane, I don't need the drama of no responses after multiple calls and emails and service I find unacceptable.
