This guy came in and genuinely had my best interest at heart. I disclosed that I was shopping around and I had other quotes scheduled. We discussed my plans and needs and he was extremely knowledgeable and informative of the entire process. At no time did he ever push something on me, if anything he advised of practices to be weary of with ANY installer I should choose. He explained clearly what sets Miller's apart from the competition and I must say that even if I don't choose to use them for this specific project, I will be a future customer. Pricing and appraisals were very transparent and clearly defined throughout our meeting. I typically don't leave reviews (good or bad) but Aaron left such an impression, I felt it necessary. I did a little research of reviews for HVAC companies in Chesapeake and found Simmons had great ratings. I found quickly why they had 5-stars! My previous HVAC contractor had been out twice and I was left with, " you need a new thermostat" and left with a cold house. That's when I found Simmons. They were very responsive and were out within 8 hours. The technician was very polite, professional and explained everything about the system (since I was unfamiliar with a dual-fuel system). He identified the problem and made the necessary repairs quickly. Having had a great experience then, I put the system under contract with them. Since then they have not let me down. They have kept my system in excellent condition. This week I suddenly had an issue with heat. Called and had a technician here within 3 hours. He got the system working but the next day I had the same issue and on one of the coldest days the system was out again. I called after hours and within 15 minutes had a call back from the on-call tech who said he would be here in 20 minutes. He was. The problem was so minute, a loose connection, but trouble shooting that was a pain for him, but he found the problem within 15 minutes. Simmons is my only HVAC system contractor. I know the age of the existing system and understand it only has a few years left in it. I feel confident that Simmons will keep it running great and when the dreaded day comes, it will be Simmons technicians installing a new system.

Always friendly and professional. Jake handled a slow upstairs tub drain easily and diagnosed a potential larger issue with the seal. The gamble paid off to further investigate as the 30 year putty had worn down and was causing it to leak. An area below the tub in the downstairs ceiling had stained recently and all but confirmed the tub seal was the issue. A new drain & seal and I was good to go after testing. The entire mess was cleaned up. He also installed a shower head I had purchased. Their rates seem competitive. Keep in mind with being small they back up easily. Allow days to sometimes a week for them to address your problem. They likely have emergency service at an additional cost. They cover all of the Southside of the 757. We've had workers come into our home who had no clue what they were doing, left parts laying around instead of plugged in where they were supposed to be, and behaving in ways that I'd just say we did not care for and were very surprised by. When we called we'd get no response after multiple attempts, emails would go unanswered, and on and on. The more interactions, the worse the treatment got. When we looked at the DPOR website that checks licensing for the State of Virginia, we quickly learned that the actual company had either been bought out or taken over or merged (however you want to say it), by some company. I don't know the reason(s) for what in my opinion is unsatisfactory customer service or if being acquired has anything to do with it; but....yeah.....in a world gone insane, I don't need the drama of no responses after multiple calls and emails and service I find unacceptable.

Dynamic Plumbing called me right away and scheduled to come out to my home that Tuesday. Due to it being the weekend and they was booked up that the earliest. They could come. When I got up Monday morning I noticed the leak had got worse. Where the grass was saturated with water and could see water running down my driveway. I called Dynamic Plumbing and explained the situation to them. They told me if someone finished up one of their jobs early. They would send someone over to fix it. Next thing my phone ring and it them telling me they are on their way. They fixed the pipe without any problems. About an hour or two later I was told the pipe is fixed and everything is good. I had to run an errand and when I came out the house I noticed water was gushing out the hole. Where the pipe they had fixed. I called the right then. After I told them what was going on. They told me we are on our way back right now. They returned in a matter of minutes and fixed the pipe again. What I was told is the stuff they used to hold the pipe together wasn't strong enough. That this time they used a different and stronger glue. I'm good no more leaks. I would like to give a shout out to Joseph and his partner. They did a very professional job. Remember, I said new unit from Home Depot so I called the warranty company and here comes John from Dynamic. John basically discovered that I was about to be ripped off....
