Bought my F150 here in 2004 and HAD been bringing it there since until this last experience. Charged me $18 for a tire rotation only I noticed later that the same tire that was missing a hubcap (I'd recently had the time serviced at discount tire) was in the EXACT same position as when I brought it in. I have called 3 times now on 3 different days to speak to the manager but they still have not returned a phone call. I'm starting to question if they did anything at all now. Funny, they have all the time in the world to SELL you a car and take you money. Too bad Berge, I was in the market for an additional vehicle but I'm going with someone that actually knows what customer service is. If you want a business with better customer service you can do much better elsewhere. read more

I Bought a 2018 Ford F-250 in May, I was hauling 2 PLASTIC reels of Hydraulic Hose weighing 300 ponds combined. There was an accident on the I-10 and everyone had to slam on the brakes and the hose reels moved from the back to the front. The PLASTIC reels ripped the wheel wells away from the truck and I have 4-6" gaps where the wells we're riveted into the Aluminum bed. I can see my tires and the road through the bed of the truck. I would never think a 60,000 dollar SUPERDUTY would let 300 pounds destroy the bed of this truck. I had a 2004 with a steel bed that had 1000's of pounds of concrete and rock slamming into everything, other than a few dents, no problem. So I take it into Berge and am told I was in a collision. I asked him to walk around the truck and show me where I was in a collision, obviously he could not. He sends a letter to Ford implying I had 2 LARGE rolls of Electrical in the bed ( The rolls are made of PLASTIC). So I file a complaint with the BBB and Ford denies it and says I was hauling Extremely heavy loads and consider the case closed. We are talking about a Truck with a Bed payload of over 7,000 pounds. Anyone looking for a 3/4Ton might want to try a different Make and model, something made with a STEEL bed. I just got off the phone with Ford again and they asked me what Berge did in the evaluation of repair, he asked how they diagnosed it in the beginning and I told him that he looked in the bed and took the mileage and said he would submit it to Ford. The guy on the phone is filing a complaint with Berge for not doing a thorough examination and said looking at the bed was not enough to evaluate if this an at fault incident by Ford. It should have been looked at more thoroughly and the guy kept trying to tell me I was in a collision, which I was not as you can see in the pictures. Berge and Ford need to make this right. Horrible service. I have never received such horrible customer service in my life. Especially dealing with Fernando.It took them 3 different appts to see that I had a nail in my tire. I told them multiple times that the low tire pressure light was on and that there was an issue, they never seemed to believe me. Now at the end of the 3rd trip they tell me I need a new tire and there is no fixing it. They knew I was in a tough spot at this point because I was driving 1700 miles today. HORRIBLE experience. Salesman had no idea about simple details of Ford trucks (tow capacity). We had a trade worth blue book 20,000 and when we discussed the deal, suddenly the cost of the truck went up by 4,000 dollars and the trade was only going to offset the cost by 3,000 dollars. WHAT?!? We then called back to speak to the sales manager as we did not have confidence in this quote and we were met with the rudest gentleman named John who had no interest in speaking to us and treated us like dirt. I'm writing this review because I feel that anyone buying a car needs to be really diligent in knowing all that is going on around you. I bought a car last night and my sales person, Alfonso, was great! However I can't say the same for the finance department. I understand they will try to up sell anything they can. I also know that they try to hide additional costs in your finance. Well I thought I was doing pretty good making sure i was checking everything. From the time I sat down with the finance person he told me how I would get 3 free oil changes, 2 free keys a year for 5 years if I ever lost them for whatever reason (and it states I received 2 keys which I didn't, only 1 key) AND Vehicle Theft Assistance whereby if my vehicle was stolen and wasn't retrieved within 30 days I would get $5000. Sounds good right? I know too good! So I waited and watched all the paperwork that I was signing. I DID sign a contract for the oil changes, 2 free keys, and the vehicle theft. However as you all know when signing this paperwork - they say" sign at bottom for the 3 oil changes" I did, "sign at the bottom for free key replacement" I did..etc...THEN today I am reviewing the actual Retail Purchase agreement and notice there is a charge for $150 - Key replacement, $499 for Vehicle Theft & $165 for my 3 oil changes, an additional $814 + tax!! So much for being free!!! I have not dealt with many dealers, but the ones that I have dealt with (Earnhardts Toyota, Nissan and Ford) they at least are honest with me and TELL me verbally what additional options I am signing up for. Not sure I'l go back to Larry Miller again. read more

SERVICE DEPARTMENT FILLED WITH SCREW-UP'S & LIARS! I brought my 2015 Expedition with approximately 37,000 miles (no, that's not a typo), and ABSOLUTELY ZERO engine problems into the service department to get the sunroof and power running board fixed, Fernando Pacheco was my advisor. Since my car was in the shop anyway I asked Fernando what maintenance he advised to be done, I agreed to have a coolant and transmission flush to be done. With consideration to length of this review, I will just say that when I next drove the car the engine light came on when I did a quick acceleration. I called Fernando very upset because there was no way that something in my engine just by coincidence broke right after I had them service it. I told him he had one chance to fix this, saying "you have the chance to make a customer for life if you do right by me and fix this". After several conversations with Fernando, he told me nothing could be found wrong and I had to press him to make the techs dig deeper since the engine light doesn't just come on for no reason. After much debate he agreed to make them look again. Several hour pass then Fernando calls, tells me that the 6th cylinder was found to be miss-firing and though that had absolutely nothing to do with what the maintenance crew had done, they replaced the 6th spark plug and everything was fine now. Once again, the next time I drove my car the engine light came on after I did a quick acceleration. This time I brought my car to Firestone to be looked at. Firestone discovered that Ford NEVER replaced the spark plug and the true problem was a loose wire. Someone at Ford obviously LIED to me. Approximately a week after all this Fernando called to see how my car was running and I told him what Firestone found and fixed. I told Fernando that either he LIED to me or his tech LIED to him, either way someone LIED, and I would never bring my vehicle there again. Fernando was very contrite, assured me that he was equally upset about this, telling me he would look into this and get back to me. That was over a week ago and no one from Ford has called me. Avoid Larry Miller Ford as they are filled with SCREW-UP'S & LIARS ***UPDATE*** 9/1/2021 I called Seth England when I received the notification from Yelp about my review. I left him a voicemail with my contact info and have waited for a call back and too this day have never heard from him. This seems typical of the service from Larry Miller Ford. They give the impression that they are concerned about you, but they aren't. This is a great place to get ripped off. My wife dropped the car in for a tune up and they told her the car wouldn't start and needed a new engine. I got there and it started for me right away. It also wasn't towed to the service bay, so it started to get it back there. They are actually thieves. "Service advisors are not mechanics so they don't know much". However, shouldn't they be able to explain what the issue is? They couldn't and the tech couldn't tell me either all they knew was I needed a new motor on a 4 year old car. The car was dropped off at 7am I had to call them at 2pm for an update. When I got was a call back after that because they didn't know the update, I needed a new motor. I came in on July 31st looking for a new car. I know one of the employees, Steve, through my place of work. He showed me a 2018 corolla and I loved it! When I got to the dealership he met me outside and walked me over to the car, and introduced me to Ricky. Steve is awesome and I will forever be grateful to him for showing me this car! Berge Ford is a grand place. I purchased my car from Berge and also get it serviced occasionally here as well. My sales person who isn't there anymore(Blake) was mediocre at best and I've seen that he has posted negative reviews on their Facebook which is so childish! I wish I would have purchased from someone else but I guess I'm happy with my car (2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid) so who cares, right? I think the service department has been my favorite and I hope that they keep it up! I typically work with Sergio Diaz and he is always a pleasure. He's super friendly and when you talk to him, he treats you like a friend. I called all of the other Ford dealerships in the area and asked if they were able to get me in and out with my car and all of them said that they were not available to get me in and out. With a job, and a life, I cannot spend multiple days dealing with my car. I called Chapman, Bell, then Berge and they came through telling me that it wouldn't be a problem at all to get me in. I did end up having more issues than what they thought originally so I did end up in a rental but it was seamless and was able to come back after work the next day with my car washed and ready to go for me. I had an appointment Monday morning & was told 2.5hrs was not enough time to change my oil & address 2 issues I was having : power lift-gate issues, & tire mobility message light. So, I was asked to come back the next day at an earlier time. Rod took all my info & vin# & said he'd run my warranty to see what I have (had car serviced here before). We bought the extended care package & it's suppose to cover pretty much everything I told him. I went back the next day & was told they needed 3-4hrs -Fine, whatever it needs to be done & I have the time, also had my 3yr old with me). The service associate Rod, goes over what's going to be done and tells me: I have a $50 deductible on oil change & a $100 deductible on parts & repair (I've never had to pay that before) Plus, a $100 diagnostic fee for each item that I'm having problems with (2). I almost lost my mind! Then when I questioned things his story started changing. "I don't know till I call them on your warranty ". So why did you take all my info yesterday & tell me you'll check it out?! He knows the title of the package I have but, not the things it will cover. He shows me a print out that says I have $0 deductible-SO WHY DID HE TELL ME $50!!! Makes no sense! I told him I feel he's trying to take advantage of me and to give me my car back. Why did I pay extra to get treated like this every time I bring the car in! I'm so over Ford!! I have taken my car to 3 different dearships for service & have gone through this every time. read more

​ recently I made an appointment to have my 2009 F-150 XLT diagnosed for throttle issues I told the lady who took my appointment that I had many aftermarket parts on it and to please make a note for the service writer she said okay and gave me an appointment for the following day at 7:00 a.m. I went and talked to my boss took the day off of work for Friday within an hour they texted me back couldn't even bother to call me and told me that the new appointment time is 9:30 I would have liked to work in those couple of hours had I known the next day when I dropped off my vehicle my service writer Mill the first thing I asked him was did they make a note that I have many aftermarket parts he said no so I went through every aftermarket part that I installed on my truck and he said okay no problem sign here for 2 hour authorization to diag the issues I did got the shuttle ride back to my house and waited and waited and waited I had family coming in from out of town at around 4:00 that afternoon wound up calling Larry H Miller at about 3:00 asked to speak to Mel and he was unavailable she said she'll leave a message for him to call me well he texted about a half an hour later and said do to all the aftermarket upgrades you put on your vehicle we couldn't work on it you think he would have known that right from the get-go and tells me that I can come get my truck I had to text him back and remind him that they dropped me off at home so I will need a ride back to get my vehicle granted they didn't charge me any diag time of course they didn't do any work so how could they really but I am very disappointed you would think between the first lady I spoke to and the service writer that somebody would told me that they only work on stock vehicles I'm very disappointed missed a full day's work and a full day without my truck and I still have the original issue thank you Larry H Miller read more

This business is selling products online (Ebay) and on their Ebay page and their Ford web page it states the quantity is per package, instead this Ford Parts Dept in Mesa is selling the part #'s per bolt they claim. This is fraudulent and misleading at best. It clearly states on their Ebay page that the way I ordered I would receive the correct amount of bolts for my vehicle, which I did not. These people, are trying to rip off customers by charging that price for ONE BOLT rather than a bag like Ford and Ebay say they are to be sold. Yay my car is fixed! Picked up my car after the warranty repairs were completed. They gave me a report of the work that done and they even checked my fluids, brakes and tires to make sure they were ok. My wife and I have purchased three vehicles from Berge Ford. Two for our daughter and one for me. We also had our daughters vehicle repaired at Berge after she was in an accident, she was fine, thanks for asking. When my daughter brought her car in for repairs they treated her great. They worked directly with our insurance company and everything went smoothly. On all three occasions the sales people we worked with listened to what we wanted, were very knowledgeable, paid attention to detail, and were very flexible. Once we finalized our decisions the paperwork was done quickly and efficiently. In my case I purchased a used 2012 Ford F150 Lariat, which I love! There was a follow up appointment for some commitments made during the sales process. These were commitments that the Used Car Sales Manager (not the salesman) offered up without any prompting from me. I was impressed. When I went for the follow up appointment Berge offered to provide a ride back home but I declined and decided to have breakfast in their cafe and work from my laptop. I had a last minute request to get onto a conference call. I asked the receptionist if there was a quiet corner I could use and she offered up an empty office with a desk and a speaker phone!! The Berge Ford people have always gone above and beyond for me and my family. I have been in technical sales for 15 years so I can be critical of sales people and I know when you have good sales people it is a direct result of good sales management. We will continue to purchase our vehicles from Berge and go to them for service. read more

NEW CAR PURCHASE I could not be more happy with the entire car purchasing experience at Berge Ford yesterday. It started with an immediate email response from Taff Watts (Internet Sales) on Saturday, we set up an appt with Mel Palmer (Salesman) for Sunday morning. Mel was very helpful, he was engaging to our 3 kids, as well as very informative regarding the features of the vehicle. After we made the decision to purchase the Expedition EL the process continued in a smooth manner. There were no surprises or hidden fees to cause any second thoughts. Marc in the Finance Dept was friendly, he was quick but thorough and explained all the options, there was no sales pressure for added services. After the paperwork was signed, Zack gave us the rundown on the support services at the dealership and web access to all that Ford does to help maintain the car. To our surprise, he called us with a repair estimate in the early morning. The repairs were completed and the car was ready for pickup that afternoon. I have purchased several personal vehicles from them and always had a good experience. This last time was the best however. I purchased a used dump truck for my business. My salesman Tim S. was very helpful, knowledgeable and straight forward. The truck itself was an off brand (Mitsubishi) but he and the staff there did their best to accommodate all of my questions. Being a used truck, it's not a complete surprise that there may be a few items that need to be fixed up on it and this was the case. The managers never nickled and dimed me about the repairs. Tim expedited the repairs and drove the truck to the repair shop for me. A good group of people from finance to sales to managers. 23 years I have been coming to this dealer. I have had all of my cars serviced at this location and have bought a couple cars here. I've never dealt with a more rude salesman in my life. Tried reeling me in with false hope to make a great deal. Not only was the car not brand new, it already had almost 600 miles on it. He still tried to sell it to me for invoice. Your 2017 end of year sales event isn't saving anyone money if you are charging the same price for your 2018 vehicles. I'll take my cars and business elsewhere in the future. Very disappointed in the service my husband and I received this time around. This was our second purchase here at this dealership. We were sold a 2015 Ford explorer with 74k miles, we were talked into adding all the bells and whistles to the contract such as a service contract and gap insurance with the promise of the loan being paid off and nothing out of pocket if there were an accident or theft to the vehicle by Austin F. Also let me add that we were only given page one of three of the gap contract. A week later we were rear ended and our vehicle was a total loss. Long story short, gap didn't cover the loan and now we are left with a remaining balance. I've tried to get in touch with Austin and all he said after me reaching out a countless amount of times was " I didn't know the fine print of the gap insurance" very disappointed and upset with all of this especially since we would have gone back to purchase a new vehicle. Now we are out of the 2k down payment and also have a remaining balance of the loan that was promised to be paid off if there were an accident. I've been promised to be Called back and nothing. I was talking with Butch Lemen in the Parts/Service Department about my recent auto accident and having had my 2019 vehicle totaled by a buck on Hwy 90, I was going crazy not having a vehicle and struggling with losing a brand new car. Butch got me connected with a Salesman named Duncan Kastilahn. From the beginning of our conversation, Duncan was incredibly concerned with what I wanted and not what they wanted to rid off on their lot. I mean I ran him through the mill and he kept working on my requests and demands. Kudos to Larry H Miller for having a Salesman of that caliber on their lot! I have a 2011 F-350 Powerstoke. We have 275,000 miles on it. Nicolette Dunn is our service writer, I couldn't be more happy with the monthly service we have done to the truck, She's easy to reach, keeps us posted on what needs to be done and the truck is always done when she say's it will be. My Ford was towed here after a belt broke on my elExplorer. I did not purchase my Ford here. I would also like to state that I have owned several Fords in my life and have had my ford serviced at several Ford dealerships across the valley and Larry Miller Ford is a disgusting attempt "service". As inconveniencing as one can imagine a breakdown in the middle of a Phoenix 111+ degree weather my car was towed to the closest Ford dealership on a Friday afternoon and was held hostage until Monday despite vital documents I needed from the vehicle and no one would allow me access to my car. As my main priority at the breakdown was to get my children and their safety seats out of the car before having to leave the vehicle. The general manager is a waste of space and completely worthless. The service center is unhelpful and probably will fail at replacing the belt anyway. As soon as my car is no longer held HOSTAGE to this pitiful establishment it will be towed to a Ford dealership better equipped to provide customer service and adequate repairs. read more

Purchased my 2014 Jetta from here, the buying process was a mess. They received my down payment and still ran my check 3 times. This caused fees, (I was told I was being sent a check in the mail to cover the fees) the check never came I've reached out via email and telephone to the 3 people handling my purchase. No one has responded, go figure. Not worth the hassle. Extremely unprofessional to consistently not respond. Would not recommend financing a vehicle with them. read more
