Stopped by this past weekend on our way home. We were craving a home cooked meal. Place is fairly small but has a few tables and chairs both inside and out. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green salsa and by bf ordered a wet asada burrito. I have to say, when the waitress brought our plates, they literally looked like something our moms made! The enchiladas were yummy!!! Portion was huge, super filling. The green sauce was not spicy at all. The wet burrito my bf got was by far the biggest I've seen, lol!!! He said it was perfect. I've drove by this restaurant hundreds of time and I never knew it existed. At the time being on my first trimester, all I could eat were soups so one day I was craving chicken soup so I yelped the restaurants around me and this one came up. I read some of the reviews and looked at the pictures and was sold. I called in to place my order for pick up. The soup was a little over $10.00 which at first I thought was a little steep for soup but when I got home and opened the bag, I noticed that they also added handmade tortillas! Yes! Went in for a Gordita with Chicharon presado or something like that. It's more like the carnitas and it's so very good!! Also got an order of taquitos and was happy to find out I could have them with our choice of meat. We chose carnitas and these taquitos were also very good. They don't skimp on the meat. They're packed and made fresh. They top with lettuce, cotija and avocado. We also had tacos de carnitas. The meat is very good and tortillas were fresh. They even reheated well. Now we have to try other stuff here because we like what we tried so far. Customer service was also excellent. As far as price goes, I think it was ok. Yes prices went up a bit as they have everywhere to cover costs. I think it's worth it!! read more

So my job takes me into unfamiliar territory, and Yelpers save the day when it's time for lunch. I needed a quick bite for lunch when I was in this area for work and I could not have been happier! My coworker ordered a sope and she said it was the best sope she's ever had- and she's been to plenty of joints. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and it was SO GOOD. What makes this all so good? I swear, the ingredients just felt FRESH. We discussed at lunch how the food tasted like such high quality ingredients had gone into it- the meat, the lettuce, the tortilla, cotija- impeccable. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The enchiladas were cold and were made with cotija cheese which does not melt like shredded cheese. I had to ask to have them re-heated. This place has horrible service! Don't trust the hours posted! They close whenever they want! I called to put a phone order in because the restaurant hours claim it's open until 9pm but when I called at 8pm the rude girl that aswered said they closed at 8pm now WTH?? And don't even try to get there 30 min before closing because they will turn you away saying they're already closed and they can only take to go orders. The food is good but the service is unacceptable!! If you're there 1hr before they close they will start mopping under your table and putting chairs on top of tables. The last thing I want is to be eating and have the smell of Fabuloso down my throat!!They really shouldn't start closing the restaurant down while you are eating? However, one waitress offered free refills and the other didn't honor it. The Panbazo was gross. Old bread. Dry sauce. No flavor. How can you go wrong with chorizo? The burrito was the size of a flauta. So what if l'm exagerrating a little but if you take out the meat fat in the burrito, it would shrink to the size of a flauta. Bad day? I don't know.
