Love the food, but wow, cashier was just plain rude. I walked in to pick up my order, another customer came in after me. She totally overlooked me and went to the next customer. I blame the other customer too. If someone is in line before you, you have the decency to say, "no please go, you were here first." When another worker had finished getting my order together, it's sitting right in front of her..and in front of me. She took care of everyone else. I finally had to say, "that's my order, it's getting cold, I'm just going to take it now." She looked at me like I was nuts. This place has gone WAY downhill. The restaurant is understaffed, partly due to low wages; workers only get a raise when the state minimum wage increases, no matter how long they've worked there or how loyal they've been to the business. But worst of all is the attitudes of the managers and shift leaders, who mistreat their coworkers and don't seem to care about employee retention. These managers/shift leads are a bunch of snakes who talk poorly about the few staff members they DO still have. They make fun of employees when they're not on the clock, they give you an attitude when you try to call out (for any sort of reason), AND WORST OF ALL they belittle and mistreat the 15- and 16-year-old kids who are just starting out in the workforce and need the support of leaders. The management DOES NOT RESPECT the people who make your tacos and burritos. Perhaps the business would be more successful if so-called "managers" didn't lash out at employees or talk smack behind their backs. There is absolutely nothing to be gained or lost by not supporting this business. Hopefully Exeter and Hampton do a better job at treating their team with dignity and respect, because you won't find it here in Wells. Shame on ALL OF YOU. read more

My brother would always rave about this place so I decided to finally give it a try! Boy was I happy. I wish I have came here sooner. I ordered a chicken burrito and it was the best burrito I've ever had! So much flavor and lime and cilantro. I got this amazing aioli sauce on it. Family has home in Wells,ME and we travel up there all year round and LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Staff is great and knowledgeable of their menu, service was quick and seamless, food was GREAT! I always get the Chicken Quesadilla,comes with Cheese quesadilla and tons of seasoned grilled chicken and rice on top or whatever else you want to load on to it! Wish I lived closer, I'd be here all the time! The space is huge with tons of seating and ample parking. The staff are super friendly and outgoing. Really make you feel like they are there to serve you, and happily, which is so rare. The prices are very reasonable. Good quality and value! The nachos were super good. The chips aren't coming from a bag, they are deep friend, golden tortillas. So tasty! The toppings were generous and the staff offered to put most of them on the side because my husband and I couldn't agree on what we wanted (me: refried beans, him: guac & pico). Plus, the pork on top was SO GOOD. My burrito was heaven. Stuffed to the gills but rolled perfectly. No splitting, no breaches, and no eruptions. See, I'm inclined to grade Las Olas up on the scale due to its scenic Maine'liness, but if it was sitting in the middle of a city I'd grade it just as high. The pork was tasty but some pieces were a little rough, however the chicken was very good. The pineapple salsa (as mentioned in other reviews) was amazing as were the homemade tortilla chips! I recently ate at Las Olas Taqueria in Wells, Maine. Las Olas is very similar to your Chipotle or Qdoba, with a few different items that make a difference. You stand in line, choose your ingredients, and off you go. The restaurant was clean, and the servers were very helpful. I ordered an Ancho Beef bowl. The only disappointing thing about this was the actual beef- unseasoned ground beef. The rest of the dish was delicious. Las Olas offers a cheesy rice which is out of this world. The ingredients are fresh, and the custom salsas were a nice surprise. We ordered the Carrot Habanero salsa, which was balanced very well and went great with the meal. The guacamole was also very good. All in all, a fairly healthy fast food option with a little room for improvement. Would most likely return. read more

We ordered a pick up order online last Friday 10/14. The online ordering process was great. I loved how I could customize each meal. Our food was ready for the time we were directed to pick it up. Each meal was fantastic. We ordered a burrito, a bowl and nachos. All were hot, fresh and large servings. Even the chips were warm! The employees were prompt and friendly. The inside of the restaurant was clean and tidy. A really nice addition to the Wells community. Also, my new favorite take-out spot. As someone who prides themself on having eaten every burrito in Portland, I am ridiculously pleased with this place. Like oh my god this is possibly one of the best burritos I have EVER had. This place would kill it in Portland but based on how packed they were on a Sunday night, I think they're doing just fine. Not only is the food absolutely delicious (and super vegetarian/vegan friendly) the staff is also super nice and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and come here at least once I week. I literally drove from an hour away and the only thing I was upset about is how far from my house it is. This is one of my go to places. Not only has the food been great, it has been consistent from the time it's opened and affordable. The staff has always been courteous and I've never felt disappointed with my stops here. It is clean with plenty of seating. Occasionally there is a line but it usually moves pretty quickly, there isn't much you can do during the tourist season. I enjoy the vibe and I usually run into many of my friends frequenting this place as well. I high recommend it and have done so many times over. read more
