Wow! The cutest little gem on the Northwest side of SA for authentic Mexican food!! I grew up in this area and I had my usual spots I grew up going to. Today we decided to try out Las Teresita's and sheeshhhhh I'm so glad we found it! The cafe de Olla was chug worthy! It's so hard to find around SA but glad this one isn't too far from our home. Then the carne guisada with cheese was the cheesiest I've ever had! With trimmed meat and gravy to die for, it was perfect! Then to top off you are served warm chips and tasty salsa and the flour tortillas are legit homemade! You have to try here! It'll be your new "Go-To", it is ours now! Cant forget to mention the sweet tea you wish you could take home by the gallon! The server was super sweet and attentive, always checking on us. Stopped in here for the Cafe de Olla. Ended having their $9 fajitas. The food was amazing.

We were searching for Cafe de Olla and saw it on the menu here. It's a quaint restaurant. We ordered the Cafe de Olla, an Arnold Palmer, migas plate with queso fresco and a carne guisada plate with the ranchero sauce on the side. The Cafe de Olla was flavorful with cinnamon and sweet fragrances. Our food was hot and tasted delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly and quick to respond. read more

Always great food! Probably some of the best tasting enchiladas. Not the kind that the cheese gets hard when they start cooling. Enchilada gravy is always so delicious! Rice, beans and tortillas are always freshly made and very good. This place deserves to be recognized and should be busy everyday of the week. read more

My husband and I decided to check out Las Teresita's for breakfast and arrived 15 minutes after they opened. I think we might have been the first diners of the day, but others started coming in near the end of our meal. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and quick. We really enjoyed the everything we ordered as well. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros with bacon plate (not pictured) and I ordered a fideo loco and 2 breakfast tacos, the chicharron ranchero and the chorizo & papa. We both ordered cafe de olla. All the food was delicious and I loved their flour tortillas which were so soft and seemed thicker than the usual flour tortillas served in some places. The corn tortillas were also soft and thicker than average. We're definitely coming back again soon! read more

Ordered a complete Barbacoa breakfast kit via Grubhub for a Sunday morning and it was great. This would be the perfect meal to get for people visiting San Antonio for the first time. Everything was presented very neatly. I was so hungry that I didn't take a picture of all the containers but I did take a photo of my meal. Can't speak to the service but again, they clearly put together everything very nearly and professionally. Really would be good to order for guests. Came for breakfast based on great reviews. Ordered the breakfast tacos. Tried the chicharrón, bean & chorizo, egg , guisado, and papa con chorizo. The best part was just the tortillas themselves. The papas in papa con chorizo were cut way too big. The beans tasted canned. The chicharrón was the bag type from the chip isle. The guisado has a weird texture. The chorizo seemed like the casique brand. Overall, if you're super hungry, it'll definitely fill you but don't recommend if you want great tasting food. Also we specifically ordered hot chocolate for our small kids and they were way too hot. My youngest burnt his tongue. read more

This building has been a hundred different things since I've lived here but I'm hopeful this business will stay. Authentic Mexican and very fresh. I've had the breakfast tacos, tortilla soup, guacamole and enchiladas. All have been excellent. My favorite so far has been the tortilla soup. There are big chunks of fresh veggies and nice big chunks of white meat chicken. They have excellent lunch specials that won't leave you hungry. First time at Teresita's and we reunited with a waitress who served us at La Terraza in AR. Companion had chicken puffy tacos which were delicious. I had a three picadillo tacos lunch special...also very good. The salsas were delicious and only slightly picosas. Flour tortillas were delish and tasted homemade. Iced tea was refreshing! The beans 10/10, the rice 10/10, the cheese enchilada 100/10, the beef fajita 10/10, the puffy taco 10/10. The HOMEMADE flour tortillas were a cherry on top.
