5 stars. Hands down the best visit. This dental visit was for my husband. We meet Dr. Steve Nguyen today and his staff and they were amazing. My husband hasn't been to a dentist since he was a kid so today (08-18-17) was a big day for him. He got his molar extracted within minutes if not seconds. We were explained the process of his cleaning and tooth removal. Front desk was amazing! They watched my kids while I stepped back to communicate with my husband and doctor of the next steps and they were very patient with me on the paying process (since I forgot my wallet at home) Dr Nguyen if you're reading this, thank you so much what you did for my husband, we really appreciate it. I come back 2 weels later and he didn't do it and tried to get me to accept the same ugly thing. I had gone to this office with no issues really. Only Ive not seen the same dentist. I got moved around a couple times. The last one i saw, filled a cavity on my front tooth. I begged the dentist to be careful, that had a cap on my front tooth from where i had chipped it years ago. .....he kept telling me, i did in fact not have one. Even though it shows in the x-rays. Of course after he did the cavity the cap was gone and now im forced to live with a chipped tooth. I went back and they did "smooth" it out by filling it down. My smile looks completely different and I'm really depressed over it. I wished i could find a dentist who makes me feel listened to. I understand that i am not the professional, and that certain things with teeth cannot be avoided. But this just really hurt me. read more

Love this Dentist!! I went here 3 years ago after getting 2 different quotes from 2 different dentists saying I needed crowns, fillings, root canals, etc. ALL BS - None was needed. I went to laser dental & Dr.Nguyen was straight with me. Great teeth, NO cavities, NO crowns or root canals needed. Just a deep cleaning. At that time, 3 years ago, all I did was the regular cleaning. Didn't do the deep cleaning, which by the way , was 1/4 the price that one other dentist quoted me, just the regular. 3 years later Ive seen Dr Nguyen only 3 times for cleanings etc and he always tells it like it is. I have been here 3 times and they are so fast. When I got my wisdom teeth taken out I check in. Then out with in 10 mins it was crazy!!!! Also very very affordable. When I got my bottom wisdom teeth taken out it costed me 2k in Florida. It costed only 200$ here! Couldn't believe it :) read more

Helpful front desk staff. Dr. Nguyen is very gentle as well as knowledgeable. I had some evasive work to be done and he made sure that I was comfortable put me at ease. His assistants always made sure to keep me updated on my kids progress and what work they may want to do before hand and never there are never any surprises. From the first time stepping into Laser Dental we were greeted with a big huge smile from Machelle the receptionist she was hands down the absolute best with explaining things and getting us all signed up and ready for our visits.. during our visits my children and I were very pleased with the compassion each dental assistant showed to all of us.. I have one daughter that is so nervous about the dental work she literally goes in to panic mode the assistants and the Dr literally took the time to calm her down and she let them do the root canal I was very impressed with this.. So my family and I have been patients of this office for over 3yrs. After today we will Not be. I was scheduled for a filing 1st you can't find my appointment then you explain I have a copay. I question it because, I was told I just had to pay my deductible. The doctor comes over and states all i need to a ay is the deductible. The front desk receptionist proceeds to explain to me about my insurance and what they pay and my responsibility( as if I don't know and in a demeaning tone). I say ok and then she tells me that the office has written off over $500 in fees for me. I don't recall asking to have anything written off so if this was done the doctors had their reasons but, it wasn't at my request. I go sit and wait to be called back and she proceeds to talk about me to the other front desk person as if i cat hear her... OMG, how unprofessional!! I got up and canceled my appointment and she has the nerve to ask me why.. thankfully for her, I chose not to speak on the matter because, her demeanor was already defensive and rude so it would have escalated horribly...Doctors your staff will lose clients for you!! read more

Outstanding!!!! Purchased Groupon and didn't know what to expect. My former dentist was great but way too expensive for my present budget as I have kids in college and am a single parent. This dentist has to be a wizard. He's fast, furious and fantastic and wields tools like a master. If you are looking for lots of bs chat chat, this is not the dentist for you. Doesn't upsell, doesn't try and manipulate you telling you that your mouth is crap so he can get your money. Yesterday I called this dentist about a walk in because I'm new here and my daughter starts school soon and I wanted to get her seen as soon as possible. The receptionist I believe her name is Doreen, let me do a same day appointment. I assumed it would be a wait because I was calling 3 hours before asking for a full exam and my daughters chipped tooth to be fixed. I arrive 15 mins early and directly at the time that was specified over the phone my daughter was called. She was giving a full exam teeth cleaning the whole deal all in that day. The dental assistant Heather was so nice and gentle with my daughter. Did I mention she's terrified of the dentist. After all this I was scheduled the very next day to come in to have my daughters chipped tooth fixed. I came before scheduled time was seen right away no wait!!! Dr.Nguyen is AMAZING !!!! I needed a tooth extraction immediately. I went 2 months before 1st time visit and thought would be done that day but they took the initial x rays, scheduled me a week later and I had cancelled, rescheduled, cancelled again cause was not hurting anymore. Then since I procrastinated 9/23 was pain all day, migraines and toothpain, called 9/23 they stated booked for a month. Was told I could die by family members and needed immediately done but the dentist emergency not the same as reg ER, depending on your insurance its not the easiest to find. Next day I wanted to try them again, called and told her I was very much in pain, and she said 'you know what, let me call you back'. The front office nurse called me back within 5 minutes and got me in within 45 minutes. They gave me options, they didn't make me feel bad about my tooth. He didnt give me a real warning about the ANESTHESIA, except for a sec before, might hurt a little he said, which I loved cause if they would of prepped me after the numbness I would of been super hectic. After the 1st couple pulls, was not coming out. Gave me a 60 sec break, told me if doesnt come up might have to break in sections, and said no problem. He put me at ease then 2nd time tada. Got it! I was so thankful for them squeezing me in!! No blood really, slept all day, feeling great. Really no pain! Thank you so much EVERYONE at the office. Very professional! read more

My three year old needed emergency dental care following an accident. These people were wonderful to us. They got us in almost immediately, and there was no wait to see the doctor when we got there. The whole exchange took maybe 30 minutes. It doesn't matter if your speaking with the receptionist, nurse, or doctor, everyone is helpful and welcoming. They are extremely patient with both rambunctious toddlers and hovering mothers. I cannot find the words to express my gratitude. I went to Laser Dental and received an X-Ray, teeth cleaning and exam for $49. AMAZING! I went to Groupon and saw a deal for the same service for $59. However, when I went directly to their site I found this fabulous deal. This was the first time I received a teeth cleaning and experienced absolutely no pain. The staff was exceptional, the dentist was professional not so much personable but definitely professional. My only issues was that they didn't show me any of my X-RAYS but said I had no issues. Laser Dental is by far "THE WORST" dentist I have ever been to! BEWARE!!! Dr. Hien Nguyen tried to fix a chip in my front tooth and he wound up shaving down the part of the tooth that wasn't chipped just to fix his mistake. I now have a front tooth that's shorter than the other. It's also completely covered with glue and is no longer shiny. He worked on multiple other teeth and left big chunks of glue on them so my teeth feel dirty all the time. I went back a second time to address these issues and he made things worse. I showed him a certain spot to be aware of on my molar that was super sensitive and he still drilled that spot causing me SEVERE PAIN. He did this while I screamed for him to stop with white knuckles gripping the chair. If you value your teeth and do not enjoy pain, steer clear of the worst dentist in Vegas. read more
