Ate here during the pandemic and it was not good. Basic food that you can make it home for much cheaper and better tasting

I got the special which was a coffee rubbed NY strip, served with asparagus and loaded mashed potato's. All around a great dish. My wife got the pecan chicken breast which is always excellent. Only complaints were the steak was overdone but they corrected the mistake promptly. The lobster bisque was slightly salty but man they packed that thing with lobster meat. I'll definitely give them another visit.

The ribeye cap was the highlight, super tender, and the eye had a great sear and a lot of flavor. Overall a really solid steak, especially if you like a slightly sweeter profile. Got the cream corn risotto on the side. It was really good but very rich, definitely something you can only have a few bites of before it starts to feel heavy. My wife ordered the pecan crusted chicken. The portion was huge, but it stayed really juicy and had a nice crunch on the outside. Easy to split or take leftovers home. Cocktails were great too. The Negroni was well balanced and the blackberry smash was super easy to drink. They had a fried shrimp special (ninja shrimp or something?) and that ended up being one of the best parts of the meal. Crispy, sweet and sour, and a great starter. Solid spot if you're in Mooresville and want a steakhouse that's a little more interesting than the usual options.

They're PACKED on Wednesday nights because it's wine night so if you're coming for just food I would avoid Wednesdays. Their servers are all so friendly and great at making recommendations. I've liked everything I've ordered here except for Salmon -- so I would just stick to steak in the future. Even their coleslaw is amazing! We've come several times and have always been pleased. Prices are great, it's nice to be able to go somewhere for a nice steak but it's still in a casual environment.

The decline in food quality and inattentive service have removed this restaurant from our rotation.

They had a nice mix of indoor and various outdoor seating. In the front, you see seating in the sun. Yet, they have covered outdoor seating on the side. Inside, they have everything from bar to bench seating. Our waiter was great as he provided quick service and answered all of our questions. We ordered spinach artichoke dip and chicken tenders for the kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes. The appetizer was good, but nothing amazing. The chicken tenders were big and flavorful. Yet, the fries definitely stole the show. I'm not a fan of shoestring fries, but they were seasoned so well that I didn't mind. While our appetizer and kids' meals came out quickly, our entrees were a little slow to arrive. I ordered the salmon and fries, since I could steal any more from the kiddos. The salmon was a decent portion and seasoned nicely. However, it was slightly over cooked. Overall, the experience was good.

We all ordered Sprite. There was something wrong with it. There was a foul flavor that I can only assume comes from a dirty dispenser. Okay, whatever. Sent them back. My kid got a lemonade, same foul flavor. Okay. We got water. It's tap, who cares? The Bang Bang shrimp is actually good but the 3 cheese spinach dip is awful. Took one bite, sent it back. Got calamari instead, it's flavorless and lacks salt. It wasn't rubbery though so... good job there? The kid got chicken tenders and they're also unseasoned and not even Tyson tender quality. They're also greasy because they weren't even drained on a paper towel once out of the fryer. The mashed potatoes taste instant, and the steak of all things was salty as all get out. The waitress was new but extremely kind. The building is nice and the interior is pretty. The food is trash though and I have a feeling the business is faltering and cutting corners everywhere possible. The mints at the hostess stand are good, so at least there's that.

They used to have a sign that said "No WiFi, talk to each other," But didn't see it this time around. Anyways, Linebergers is a great spot to eat at if you are looking for some good food in the Lake Norman-Mooresville area. This is a fairly casual steakhouse, so if you don't dress up you won't be the odd ball in the room, but you certainly have a choice. Every server is fantastic. They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that. As a summary, the hospitality at Linebergers is unbeatable and has some pretty solid food (don't forget about the incredible salad bar). Once again, if you are in the area, do not miss out. Head to Linebergers! You will not be disappointed.

We were seated against the wall which normally would've been fine if it were not for the constant loud hammering / banging just on the other side of it. Mind you, this is during prime dining hours with a full restaurant. It's beyond me to schedule repairs during that time if that's what it was. Maybe kitchen staff screwing around, who knows? It literally sounded like they were performing body work on the other side of the wall. I actually banged the wall back, trying to send my own message to no avail. The fun continues. Our first set of laundered napkins delivered to us were loaded with lint, hair, and god knows what else. An added bonus: the utensils had dried food on them. YUCK! The server brought a second set. My wife's were fine, but mine wasn't. I cleaned the questionable utensils myself with a sanitation wipe and asked for a paper napkin. I was presented with a tri-fold paper towel usually used for cleaning mirrors or wiping spills. Thanks a yahoo! There was no rhyme or reason to the timing our food was brought out. The appetizer was okay, followed by a very long wait for our salads, then immediately followed by our entrees that cooled off while we finished our salads. Our server basically ignored us in favor of the larger table right next to us. It was blatantly obvious. BTW, there's nothing more awkward than a server that feels he has to squat down to your level when he's taking an order. Just weird! The food was okay which is why they get two stars, but the service, food timing and construction / auto body repair zone ambiance ruined the experience. We've dined at Longhorn probably about 15 or so times and considered it one of our go-to places. No more. Thankfully, we found a great dining alternative that cares more about cleanliness and customer service and actually serves a superior steak. Bye Longhorn

We ended up ordering 2 fountain drinks, the spinach crab fondue, the seared scallop appetizer, farmers cobb salad, a caprese avocado panini with onion straws and a side of fries, french onion soup, and the espresso creme brulee. First and foremost, the food came out insanely fast. The seared scallops with creamed corn and pesto was fresh and delightful with a great sear. I do wish they were a bit bigger for the price, but it was a nice starter. The spinach crab fondue was so nice and hot when it came out that it was still bubbling. Strong crab flavor, a good portion size and plenty of fresh chips. The farmers Cobb salad had lots of seasoned fried chicken in it, the greens were fresh and the blue cheese dressing was nice and creamy. It even came with a fresh dinner roll. We advised the server we were going to split the panini and she was nice enough to plate them separately putting the onion straws on one and fries on the other. It wasn't so much a panini as it was just a ciabatta sandwich. The bottom bun was soggy as was the bacon but it was still very cheesy and tasty. The fries were hot and fresh and the onion straws weren't greasy and had a nice crunch. The French onion soup was hot and cheesy and was a nice portion. Could have had a bit more onion, but it hit the spot for the price. The espresso creme brulee was very very delicious. Not too sweet, had a great texture and came with a fresh strawberry, however the top could've been a bit hotter. A great way to end the meal. Overall, the meal was $99, which I think is very reasonable. Food came out quickly, tasted hot and fresh and thats exactly what you'd want on a cold day. Will definitely be back to try other menu options.
