The Negroni was well balanced and the blackberry smash was super easy to drink. They had a fried shrimp special (ninja shrimp or something?) and that ended up being one of the best parts of the meal. The decline in food quality and inattentive service have removed this restaurant from our rotation.

They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that. As a summary, the hospitality at Linebergers is unbeatable and has some pretty solid food (don't forget about the incredible salad bar). Once again, if you are in the area, do not miss out. Head to Linebergers! You will not be disappointed.

Our first set of laundered napkins delivered to us were loaded with lint, hair, and god knows what else. An added bonus: the utensils had dried food on them. YUCK! The server brought a second set. My wife's were fine, but mine wasn't. I cleaned the questionable utensils myself with a sanitation wipe and asked for a paper napkin. I was presented with a tri-fold paper towel usually used for cleaning mirrors or wiping spills. Thanks a yahoo! There was no rhyme or reason to the timing our food was brought out. After about 3-4 minutes of Fumbling around, (keep in mind they were not busy ). another hostess, with a long green scarf wrapped around her head to look like a gypsy, looked at me, took me around to the right side of the restaurant, and did not even bother to seat me at the table. The Following conversation below explains the reason I feel the way I feel. Keep in mind I was Asked if I wanted a Hi-top table. The hostess says. "Hi-top" ?? I said...." Sure...." She walks me past the bar towards the bathroom and sticks me a 2 seater table that was dark as crap. Not a hightop. So dark that I sat down and pulled out my phone in order to use the light to read the menu. I say.... "How about that table right there, pointing to the HIGH-Top in the bar... She says..." this is where I need to seat you for service.... ". ???? Since when can you not get service at a bar hightop??? I sit down.... I try to read the menu in the dark .. a waitress walks by me about 4 times ... no acknowledgment not even a how are you. Just walked past .... I get up and leave everything at the table and walk out .... so much for a decent meal and leaving a server a very decent tip. Never again .... I would not even post this if it had not been that this is the second time I've been to Duckworth's and service has just been horrendous. I'm not sure if it's because there is a group of regulars that go there and love the establishment, and gives them high scores but as someone who visits every now and then, and each time over the last six months has received horrible service I just don't understand. The food is not that great, and the service is even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant at any time of the day or night not until they can get either staffing needs straightened out or better food .
