Latitude 34 has some of the best food in Camarillo. The chef has been here for a while in a different restaurant and his excellence continues. The food is interesting, beautifully presented and fabulous. The drinks are equally creative and exciting to a menu. it was so great to see an old friend, Dale today when I was there for lunch. He looks so nice in a blue suit and colored shirt and it was lovely to see him again. We've known him for years when he was with Slate and it's so great to have a friendly face say hello when you walk in the door. Last night, our waitress was named Hannah. Traveling back home from a day of wine tasting in Santa Ynez and stumbled upon this restaurant. The reviews and menu looked very good, so we thought we'd stop in for Happy Hour. I must say we were NOT disappointed the service from Whitney at the bar was impeccable she was very attentive and offered great suggestions on menu options. The ambiance is very chill with contemporary modern fair. I would highly recommend coming here if you want a good meal, drinks, and service. We ended up staying long enough for a shift change at the bar and I must say Rachel was awesome as well. We will definitely be back for another round as there were so many items to try we couldn't do them all. read more

The food here is just amazing! I got the steak bites well done and they were so darn good! Husband got the bacon cheeseburger and he loved it. The restaurant can get a little noisy but the food is so worth it! Next time we will sit outside if the weather is nice! Had a wonderful dinner with my friends. Two of us ordered the soup of the day which was Minestrone and it was very hearty and tasteful. Since Halibut is in season it was ordered by two of us and it was flaky and very fresh with a delectable dill sauce. I felt like a good old American cheeseburger with fries and it did not disappoint. We tried the Beignets with raspberry sauce and they were fluffy and melted in our mouths. Great ending to a perfect meal out with friends. We went to Latitude 34 last night for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door, it was beautiful. The hostess met us at the door and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose inside. Our waiter was Brian C. Brian was outstanding! Brian has a very outgoing personality and made us feel really welcome and glad we were there. He had great recommendations and checked on us often. The food was delicious!!! Brian has GREAT customer service. I don't know if it was the manager or owner but there was a lady who came to our table a couple of times to check and see if everything was good with us. You could really feel the positive atmosphere in this restaurant. We will definitely go back to this restaurant when we're in that area again. read more

I took my wife to an early Valentines dinner last night. Our typical go to restaurants were closed as it was a holiday and Monday. So, I had to find a an impromptu alternative. Latitude 34 was open. From the moment we entered until we left we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Brian was funny and informative and an all around cool guy. When I asked for recommendations he was quick to share, and I took his expert word on it. I had the lobster seafood pasta, and my wife had the filet. Everything was perfect. My daughter's and I went to "Latitude 34" last night for a quick bite. We had one round of drinks, steak bites, mushroom truffle Mac n cheese and pork butt sliders .... Ahhmmmazing! We ordered a Raspberry lemon drop one of my favorite dinner drinks, a flight of margaritas which included strawberry, cucumber and mango and a midnight Gin. These are definitely "mixology" cocktails. The atmosphere was awesome and right up my alley, it was quite busy and we still had phenomenal service. Our bartender was on point. Obviously experienced. The costs was not bad for the quality and the service. We had a $115 tab before tip. Love this restaurant, probably our best one in town for a nice lunch or dinner. Have ordered their burgers, and different entrees and everything is good. Last time we were there we got the specialty of the day, a seafood stew. We sat there eating, and making comments about how good it was, and soon discovered the couple at the next table had heard us and followed our lead. They seemed very happy with their choice. The upscale ambiance, food, service and bar service was amazing!!! H & I have gone back many many times since it opened. What's not to love about this truly. We've basically tried everything but I'll spare all the details but our all time favorite are the FILET MIGNON BITES Korean-glazed filet mignon, garlic chili noodles, pickled cucumber, wasabi ginger aioli sauce!!!! The PORK BELLY SLIDERS slow-roasted pork belly, soy ginger glaze, coleslaw, pickled onions, siracha aioli, brioche buns (qty/3). SEAFOOD CEVICHE cooked shrimp/scallops/octopus, cucumber, avocado, tomato, red onion, cilantro, ceviche sauce, lime, tortilla chips is literally to die for. The MESQUITE GRILLED CHICKEN breast with romaine, iceberg, sweet corn, avocado, Chihuahua cheese, black beans, cilantro. tomatoes, tortilla strips, ranch dressing was a very hearty portion. Mac and cheese appetizer was just warm and delicious. The CHILEAN SEA BASS Hong Kong style steamed fish, soy, ginger, green onions, cilantro, bok choy, rice was cooked to perfection! Meanwhile the LOBSTER SEAFOOD PASTA tagliolini, sautéed shrimp, half lobster tail, sea bass, mussels, garlic, white wine, tomato cream sauce was astonishing. The bar service was great, fast and the glasses and beverage decor was spot on. The bar pours hard so be ready for a good time! Pricing is on the higher price point so I wouldn't recommend it for a family with small children definitely an inmate setting for couples and adults. Great addition to the Outlets and Camarillo in general. Plenty of parking and a great sophisticated date night option without screaming children and color pages and crayons. Back again 6 months later and my wife and I are wondering why we don't go more often. Sticking with five stars. Service was great, folks were attentive, thoughtful, helpful and friendly. Tried the Shrimp Mofongo this time. Great crunch and overall texture. Also ordered the bistro burger. Tasty and obviously made from quality ingredients. My wife ordered the Lobster Bisque and Chicken Brie. She was absolutely pleased with everything. As others have mentioned in previous comments, L34 just seems really well balanced and thought out. Came here with a friend for happy hour and really enjoyed it. The food is awesome. We had the filet mignon bites and macaroni and cheese with candied bacon. The filet mignon was so tender and flavorful. You've got to try it! The mac and cheese was good, too. I also had a cup of the butternut squash soup, and it was amazing. Best butternut squash soup I can remember eating. Silky and lightly sweet, topped with berries- wow! The service was great. Kind and attentive, but it never felt like they were interrupting us. I like the decor, and it got prettier as the sun went down, and it was a little darker and lit by tea lights. Parking was easy. Latitudes 34 is in the same location as the Outlets but once you walk in you forget that you are in the shopping area. I'm really excited to see all these new restaurants in the area That will give the locals a place to enjoy some great food. Latitude 34 is rather large inside so it can definitely be a great gathering for big parties, I went to the bar and it was already pretty packed for a Thursday night. They do have a happy hour and some great selections on different beverages. The service was quick and attentive. Modern look and feel. Had the rib-eye which was over cooked I asked for med rare and got almost well done. The bar service was good I'm willing to try again. Their happy hour menu is like a 1-2 dollar discount on certain small dishes. read more

We went to Latitude 34 because one of the employees told me about the restaurant. His name is Dale. Only problem is that I wish we had gone sooner! What an amazing place. Hannah was our server and answered our questions regarding the awesome menu. Everything sounded so good. I settled on shrimp & scallops with risotto! It was delicious. My husband ordered blackened ahi and loved it. Everything was going great and then came the desert menu with amazing options. I recommend the beignets. They were good on their own but they are served with Cherry Gelato!! You have got to try it!!! Employee Katie answered all my questions regarding happy hour. There's live music on Thursdays. Katie also showed me an area in the restaurant for private parties. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are very nice.
