My gf and I tried latitude 34 out for lunch on 1/28/2023. It was my first time and I ordered multiple things off the menu including the calamari, sliders,crab cakes, carne asada plate, and the fish and chips. The food was delicious, especially the sliders and calamari. My complaint and subsequent disappointment is based on the decision of the restaurant. Our entrees came out at the same time. I took a piece of fish and as my gf went to try it there was a strand of hair lodged in the batter of the fish. I put my fish down and called the waiter over. I showed him the hair and I even mentioned it was in the batter as to show that it couldn't have been from my gf. He said sorry and took the plate to remake it. The predicament of trying to eat together. Restaurants usually time food to come out do the customers enjoy there food together. So now do I wait for the fish to be remade and let my food get cold. Or do I eat by myself and let my gf eat her food by herself after I finish. It took about 13 minutes for the fish plate to be remade. Spending 130 dollars for lunch on two meals with a few appetizers you would think that the manager would be informed and offer a dessert, a discount, or the fish to be taken off the bill. Instead, the fish came out with the one less piece that I had taken. I understand that it was gone but it seems like a penny pinching restaurant to the extreme that does not consider the customer. The fish was boxed and thrown away. In my experience that is not the type of business that I have experienced at places that charge their prices. read more

The food at Latitude 34 was great. I just think it is ridiculous that they are closed on Tuesdays! Following suit with Bandits. Camarillo needs good restaurants and to have a brand new restaurant like this one close during the week really hurts. I know someone who tried to go there on an early Tuesday evening and because it was closed will not go back now. This is going to happen again. It makes people angry. read more

In the last six months, I have eaten at this restaurant four times with my children and on a date night with my husband. It doesn't disappoint. Food was delicious and staff are really nice. We recently had Father's Day dinner at the restaurant and they were busy, but the food continues to be consistent. This is our new favorite restaurant in Camarillo. read more

Love love love everything tasted great, that being said, the waiter brought everyone their drinks and even the two tables that ordered after me, (we had about 3 tables total for a wedding dinner) and he still brought my drink last after all three tables. despite me asking if they had forgotten several times, Im not quite sure why the pour into a glass was so difficult for just the single person. One of my top favorite restaurants and that's saying a lot, trust me. Latitude is a cross between Lure Fish House and Twenty 88, but I personally like it better than Twenty 88. Our 1st visit to L34 & it was pretty good. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive the whole time. The restaurant ambiance was very nice, as it should be for a new restaurant. Our food was just okay. We had the ribeye steaks, which were not a very good quality & w/them having grill marks instead of a crust was a disappointment, fillet mignon was okay, again the quality of the fillet was not very good, chicken ravioli was different & a bit bland, chilean sea bass was very good, I'm guessing that it was poached w/a nice sauce & w/the thinly sliced ginger & green onions was a nice touch & seared scallops w/risotto, the scallops had a nice sear, but again a bit bland & the risotto was over cooked. In my opinion, I don't think it's worth the amount I paid. You can probably get the same food @ a Sizzler or Denny's. I'm not trying to be mean, just the quality of the food reminds me of those restaurants. read more

Unsatisfactory service. To begin, I understand that arriving during lunch hour has its delays. But 2 people entering the restaurant to be asked by the Host how she can help us, instead of assuming that a table for 2 is what we are looking for, come on is it that difficult? So we had to make it simple and asked for a table for 2, please. Now, what kind of restaurant would really place a table right in front of the entrance, and who would feel comfortable sitting there. We had to ask to be seated away from the entrance, it just doesn't look right. The worst part of all, sitting at our table for 20 min without being greeted by the waitress/waiter (since we never knew who was going to serve us) or acknowledged by anyone. If the wait to be acknowledged was over 20 min, it's safe to assume that the rest of the service was going to be horrible, so we decided to walk out and leave. Yet, that is when we were acknowledged because as we walked out, one of the staff members with a smart @ss attitude said "bye". We live in Camarillo, and always try to support local businesses. We listen to others reviews and as such we also share our reviews with those we know in this small city. My wife has countless business meeting in Camarillo and was recommended Latitude34. We decide to try the restaurant as she was looking for a new location for future meetings. But after today, I don't think we will ever try Latitude34. To be honest, it does not take a lot for us to be displeased at any restaurant, because we know how difficult people can be. We will go as far as organizing and cleaning our own table just to ease the work load. I have never written a review in my life, but this experience was so unpleasant that I just could not sit and stay silent. I hope that Latitude34 shares this review with their staff and "Chef Alex Castillo" and emphasize the importance of service. read more

Had to move from inside to outside for happy hour as no information was given for happy hour, as we provided the information that we were here for happy hour. No utensils &/or small plates were given as we had to ask for it. Asked for water/beverage refills twice & service staff passed us 3 times without refilling our glasses. Had a wonderful experience during happy hour. Everything our group ordered we shared and devoured. The service was so kind and prompt. We enjoyed being on the patio and they upped and moved the heaters as time went on without us having to ask (nice to have needs anticipated). If you are looking for a great place to go out with friends, or just a date night with your significant other, this is the place! My husband ALWAYS orders the scallops with risotto. Every time he says he is going to try something different, but he winds up choosing his favorite. I love ALL the fish dishes and the appetizers are wonderful. And the COCKTAILS!!! Tried out this place and was not impressed. Had several appetizers on happy hour and the portions were very small especially for the prices. Appetizers were okay not great, service was good but not great. Had to wait about 10 minutes to pay the bill due to being over charged and the time it took to correct the bill. I went into this new spot last night not knowing what to expect, with little expectations to cocktails and food options since it's hard to have both. Let me tell you, aside from the food and drinks the feeling of being taken care of with amazing hospitality just leaves the night right. Karissa was my server and made sure to check up in every possible way, with an amazing attitude and assured a perfect night for us, as well as being sure to ensure our comfort and answer any possible questions. She made us feel so welcomed and important to the point where i would definitely come back just for the amazing service. I can tell the staff is very well trained as they do an amazing job making the overall dining experience that much greater.
