Good food and beautiful ocean front views. A bit pricey. Service is unpredictable. It's one of the few ocean front places in the area.

We once again dined at Latitudes. We were seated at the bar and had exceptional service from the highly skilled bartender Brian. All four of us enjoyed our food. The atmosphere is contemporary, spacious, and has beautiful ocean views. I highly recommend Latitudes.

Went on a spectacular Friday night for a few cocktails and appetizers. What can be better than practically sitting on a beach ( no seaweed, thank God) amongst a fairly lively crowd with a great staff to make you feel well taken care of? We ordered some drinks. I had an in and out martini. Whoever bartends deserves credit. Not everyone knows how to properly pour. Yes, our waiter brought over a basket of warm ciabatta- style bread with outstanding, peppery olive oil. Did I want to eat a whole basket? No. But it was seriously excellent, and I'll forgo my calorie count for excellence. We ordered a few things such as a shrimp summer roll and tuna tacos. Both were well portioned to share and feel satisfied. I've been to Latitudes probably 8 times over the years, and it never disappoints. Restaurants come and go but I'm happy this one stays. There is a happy hour from 4-6 if you sit by their bar which has in and outside seating. You won't have the beach on top of you, but you'll get the breeze. Valet parking only ($10)

We love Lattitudes. We have been there many times. Their food is amazing. The atmosphere amazing too - right on the beach. Service typically unmatched. Today was the exception. We waited 30+ minutes and we did not even have coffee. Then a server (we were not his table) stopped to ask if we had been helped yet. He took our order. Shame on us for going out on Valentines Day when it is crazy. Ultimately it took an hour to get our food - which was excellent and hot. The restaurant manager kept checking on us. Apparently they were short 2 people and that threw everything off. Bottom line - the food was still amazing and the manager showed us his appreciation for being calm under challenging circumstances. We will be back again soon. Stuff happens and management acknowledged their shortcomings today. Good job considering.

This was our first dine here, with a reservation for an early dinner at 5:30 with another couple. Allow me to start with the ambience. Bottom line, there wasn't any. Tables close together, the room looks stale and dated from the late 1990's. And a critical factor was the AC. It was not working properly or was set too high. After several complaints to the waiter, he told us it was set at 76 and the hostess would lower it to 73. We did feel a momentary rush of cool air and then the moisture in the air returned and it was stuffy and became progressively more stuffy as the dining room filled up. If we were not meeting friends who were leaving for a European adventure the following day, I would have turned around and walked out. In retrospect, we should have done that. The food was mediocre - the description was way better than it looked. And it tasted a bit off. My entree was a piece of broiled fish which was dried out, a few scallops and shrimp, each tasteless, and a healthy serving of good tasting mashed potatoes and a few skimpy veggies. The best description I can provide is that the plating looked institutional. Like the kind of food which might be served in a cafeteria or lower end restaurant. My wedge salad was quite good and quite large as was the Caesar salad ordered by my husband. But man (or woman) cannot live by salad alone. For a seafood dominant restaurant I expected much more. Oh let me k is forget the warm bread and sweet butter. They were delicious. I would have been pleased if I had bread butter and the wedge salad. Our server TYLER was quite good. We felt badly for him because it was so warm and he had to work all night in that place. No dessert. No coffee. We all needed to get out of there before we passed out. And when we left the room was packed and appeared to be happy. Would I return? Definitely a hard no. And while the view is fantastic - as you're sitting almost on the beach - it doesn't offset the mediocre food and calmly stuffy air. Valet which is mandatory is $10. Credit cards accepted. And of course you should tip the valets

Our server Filipe was fantastic. He guided us through the menu and was very attentive. The view is the best in the area. Relaxed and upscale vibe. We'll be back for lunch again soon.

My favorite spot to bring people from out of town because they offer fresh seafood and fantastic views! I recommend getting here early and requesting an outdoor table. The patio faces the ocean, it's covered, and it's breathtaking! They are also very accommodating towards big parties! A little pricey but the quality is good so you feel like you are paying for good food, not just for the views!

If I could I would give this a 4.5...Great service beautiful setting even with rough seas. We came for the tower... the seafood tower experience we have been craving from land locked Omaha Nebraska and was good but not perfect as the Maine lobster was a little over cooked however the, oysters, gulf shrimp, lump crab( our unexpectad personal favorite), alaskan king crab, cocktail sauce, grated horseradish, citrus mignonette, charred lemon all were delicious. Then I finished the off in style with Spiked Bourbon Affogato Perfectly Combined Espresso with the Sweet and Creamy Texture of a Vanilla Gelato, topped with Maker's Mark Bourbon and Hennessy VS Cognac for a Distinguished Finish. YUM!

Beautiful ocean view. We set a reservation for 3 at 2pm on a Sunday and they were packed solid. We brought a friend visiting from out of town. The ocean was rough -- no outdoor diners as it was cool, windy, and rainy with a fierce looking riptide. You can spot the tourists as the only ones swimming. What better to start off the day with some Modelo Especial on draft. I went with the Blackened Mahi Sandwich with a side of slaw. This is a nice treat in the local area without going to Fort Lauderdale to catch this rare ocean view while dining. It's hard to know it exists if passing by on A1A -- use GPS.

Do you have brunch on Sundays?

Unfortunately, we no longer serve brunch at this location. We serve breakfast between 7am and 10:30am followed by lunch at 11.

Do you have a private room or area for a birthday brunch (about 25 people)? 85th birthday party

We have a private "glass room" located in the restaurant that can accommodate up 12 people. For parties of 25 wanting a private room, would have to go through our Catering Manager in order to book one of our two banquet rooms.

Do you have an early bird special menu?

    Laurie- we do not

    Are you pet friendly?

No. Leave your pet home and eat with your spouse boyfriend or girlfriend or whomever.

Can you bring your own bottles of wine? If so, how much is the uncorking fee? Thanks!

In the past I have brought my wine to Latitudes. I forget the corkage fee. I do not recall the corkage fee to be too much. Recommend you call the restaurant for current policy…

Super Bowl? Do you have tvs?

There are much better venues than Latitudes to watch the game. Latitudes is way too classy and expensive. The valet parking is ten bucks plus a tip. Latitudes is a great place to do a high end brunch or lunch, as the view of the beach and ocean is…

Is it ok to take 4 years old?

Absolutely! We took our 5yr old boys

    Can you dock a boat?

    No. The restaurant is beachside.

How much is brunch this weekend?

    $60

Do they have vegan options for Sunday brunch?

I don't remember seeing a vegan option. Please let me know if you find out.

In full view of the Manager. Who did absolutely nothing. He Just observed. We didn't know them and had not said a word in their direction. They decided to pick a fight by inferring that my friend and I were engaged in a romantic relationship. They weren't as polite about it as what I've just expressed, of course. They used that Lovely F word that ends with a G. Maybe they were drunk or high. I don't know. But they certainly carried themselves like they thought they were on a rerun of the Sopranos. I told the manager that I wanted him to call the police or I also offered to just leave but explained that I wasn't paying a penny. So it was his choice. He did not want to call the police, apparently and so told me to leave, but also never to return. Apparently, he had a blame the victim philosophy. No apology. Nothing. So we walked away. As if I would ever go back. And that's the irony of what happened next. And this is true. And it's all documented on film. As my friend and I walked down the street, I was suddenly grabbed by members of the Delray police. Who also held off my friend from getting too close to me. So he started filming from a little bit of a distance. They threw me into an alley, put handcuffs on me, caused me some significant pain, and then told me never to go back to that restaurant again. Basically roughed me up on behalf of the manager. It's actually all on video. We have the video. My friend wanted to go to court and sue the owners and police, naturally. My general sense was that it was probably best to avoid that sort of thing. I grew up in an area with this stuff going on, although not as overt as what happened here. And I'm just not interested in engaging with these types of people. So I decided to not challenge the police nor the obvious gangster(s) who sent them to rough me up. You've been warned. And the reason you don't read reviews like this very often as I think most people get the message. A lot of Delray is run like Atlantic City or New Jersey was many years ago. Although probably not as efficiently.

The lobster appetizer was phenomenal. The chicken oysters, I personally don't see the hype there but the potato served with them is both the crispiest and the softest potato I've ever eaten. The short rib entree with mole sauce was as tender and flavorful as can be. The local jerk swordfish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate together created wonderful bites. Cornbread dessert was my choice, I love cornbread and that hit the mark with the blueberry compote and ice cream. One nitpick, and this is absolutely a nitpick. The string lights that hang down the wall to the tables are filthy. So dirty they looked like twine rope. Now that didn't change my experience or make me question the cleanliness of the kitchen at all. That food was perfect. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board.
