    Large peanut butter cup latte
    Arnold T.

Got the peanut butter cup latte and I think it could more peanut butter flavor. I can taste the chocolate but not so much of the peanut butter. The classic bagel has a house made herb cream cheese with tomato and cucumber. I personally don't like dill so this isn't my cup of tea. Place is very pet friendly they offer pup cups is a plus for us. Plenty of seating.

As a pug owner and certified pug lover, I was already sold the second I saw the Lazy Eye logo. I couldn't decide between the Avo BLT and the Gooey Toast, so I asked the super friendly cashier for a recommendation. She suggested the Gooey Toast, and I trusted the process. Unfortunately, the avocado wasn't ready, so I swapped it for bacon... and honestly, no complaints because I'm a bacon lover anyway. Ooof, the lemon pesto with the chili onion flakes made all the flavors pop. Everything came together so well. The service was friendly, and the environment was open, chill, and welcoming. 10/10 would absolutely munch here again, and I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

    Classic bagel sandwich

The peanut butter cup mocha was good. I would have liked more peanut butter flavor and the chocolate was good. Not overly sweet so I liked that. The classic bagel sandwich was ok. Good amount of cream cheese. Although it looks amazing and very picturesque I would have liked thinner slices of tomorrow and the cucumber in slices as well. The service was friendly and fast. Dog friendly inside and outside and they have oup cups!! I'd be back

Great coffee shop to get work done. Mid BLT but did the job. Not mad at it. Comfy seats.

Lovely coffee shop with cute decor. Has plenty of seating so you can come grab a nice beverage and/or snack and work a little bit. Staff is friendly. Parking is only street parking and that can be a little tough but possible to find. Only thing I would not recommend is the Brie toast with walnuts and hot honey. Just did not work for me.

One of the main coffee shops I visit when I am in town. I love that there is ample seating for big groups or just if you need to get some work done. It is also dog friendly and nice customer service. Not only did I see the shop was decorated, but the employees were always dressed up too, which I think is so cute. Their coffees are good and I have done a few of their seasonal sandwiches and burritos. But what I absolutely love is all the food options they have for vegetarians. And I don't just mean a pastry. They have veggie OR soyrizo burritos! Even better, there is a $10 deal for a drip coffee and burrito. So not only is it tasty, it's affordable. Highly recommend a quick stop breakfast here or even just a chill place to catch up with friends!

I was in North Park, needing to get some coffee and breakfast before getting my hair done and I decided on this place after a Google search. I liked the aesthetic of the place based on the pics. It's open and airy and not busy on a Sunday. I was excited to try one of their flavored lattes, which was the Banana Bread Latte with oat milk I also got the Ultimate Bagel on an Everything bagel. The latte, tasted nothing like banana bread. To be honest, it tasted like a Vanilla Latte. There's nothing too special about it and I was super disappointed. It was watery and no distinct flavors stood out to me. I was so disappointed that I got another latte somewhere else later on. As for the bagel, it was pretty tasty and filling. The bagel was soft and ingredients were fresh. The place looked like a good place to study but there were a lot of flies when I was waiting. Hard to compete with Between Us across the street (which was packed by the way) and Saigon Coffee just a short walk away.

Lazy Eye Coffee feels like the perfect place for a neighborhood hang. Corner spot, big spacious interior, drinks and food to enjoy. The only downside, parking. Thus, best to come by if you're in walking distance. On a Friday afternoon, the place was half full. There were lots of folks working on their computers thanks to the free WiFi. My only challenge working here would be that it's pretty hot. It's all open aired so it can get really warm in here. They had a seasonal special of a rose lychee latte made with their homemade rose lychee syrup. I asked if I could swap the espresso for matcha. The rose lychee syrup was perfectly paired with matcha and the drink was delicious! It needed a little more ice but I appreciated that they didn't skimp on the actual drink to ensure it was full! Fun options in a great space!

Banana Bread Latte and banana split latte

I came to try the banana bread latte and banana split latte. They were very disappointing and I was surprised as I saw on social media that people really enjoyed them. Maybe they were having an off day but it didn't taste like banana bread, banana split, or really anything other than coffee and cream at all

This place is such a vibe! Service was great and there is so much seating. I got the banana split latte and sat by the open window to people watch, such a nice way to start the day!

Breakfast burrito with barely any egg or sausage inside it was mostly just tortilla.
    Pearl H.

I'm so bummed to be leaving this review but I'm really disappointed after paying $11 for a breakfast burrito here. the burrito itself was actually pretty good, but it came out cold and there was barely any filling in it. It was mostly tortilla. That's why it was even more weird that they just tossed my avocado on top of the burrito versus putting it inside. There was plenty of space for it. I ended up having to shove the avocado in one by one by myself as I was eating it.. I hope it was just an off day, but it was definitely not worth what I paid

the bagel was so good ! i got the everything bagel and my friend got the jalapeño cheddar and they were both amazing . place was clean and employees were really nice :) i tried a seasonal drink and it was pretty good ( the yellow drink) and my friend got the tiramisu cold brew which was sooo good and ill def get it next time. Came on a sunday and got good seating , they closed at 4 !

Stumbled upon this inviting little café and really enjoyed the experience. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Bean Latte and their Drumstick Signature Latte(chocolate, vanilla, caramel, plus sea salt)both with breve. They were flavorful and creamy, the drumstick is a sweeter latte, which I like, Pricing is average for a coffee shop, and there's plenty of cozy indoor seating, which makes it a great spot to chill or get some work done. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The menu is surprisingly extensive--lattes, coffee, toasts, bowls, sandwiches, and more. I also loved that they offer a great selection of seasonal lattes, which keeps things fun and creative.

The moment you step inside, the bi-level space makes a striking impression with its mid-century accents, exposed brick, and warm, moody lighting. It manages to balance a lively, energetic atmosphere with an effortless chicness that feels tailored for a memorable night out. The happy hour here is an absolute standout, featuring an expansive array of creative food options and crafted drinks. The menu brings an inventive Asian fusion twist to bar bites, offering flavor-forward small plates that pair seamlessly with the beverage program. The drinks deserve equal applause: the craft cocktails are meticulously balanced, and the signature ube-inspired cocktails are as vibrant and distinct as they are delicious. Adding to the venue's overall charm is the live music program. Catching live jazz, soul, and blues sets elevates the entire experience from a simple dinner run into a full sensory event. The music creates a vibrant, soulful backdrop without overpowering table conversation, striking just the right rhythm for intimate catch-ups or energetic group gatherings. Whether you are dropping in for a quick drink, indulging in a multi-dish happy hour spread, or lingering late for the live tunes and exceptional cocktails, Books & Records captures everything that makes CS Hospitality's concepts so special. It was very great hospitality. Our waiter was very helpful and check in on us quite often. The service was Superb. Now the food, we went on a Wednesday which they have Happy Hour all day. We ordered The Record Room Burger which came with Fries. This was very tasty. The fries were excellent. I tried one of my friend's dishes which was the Lamb Meatballs and that was amazing. Sadly, the B&R Mac n Cheese did not do it for me. It was missing seasoning and the flakes tasted stale. The staff did give us salt & pepper to jazz it up which did help. Regardless of the mac n cheese, I really enjoyed this place. The red wine was perfection. Overall it was a great experience and I gotta go back to check out other food items.
