Parked in and walked straight to the register. No wait! I was greeted with a smile by Lars and she took my order with ease. I ordered the Down Home Pizza with a Blonde Ale! Came here because of Yelp. Pizza is enormous and all you need is one slice. Beer is cold and served in a glass when you dine in. This is a great location for a Lazy Moon. Walked in about 6pm and there was plenty of seating. I decided to sit at the bar. I was greeted right away with two menus and offered a sample of the beer I was trying to decide on. The serve made a couple pizza recommendations and I decided to go with "Jasons Mom". Giant slice of pizza for 11 bucks. It came out quick. It was very flavorful, the sauce had a little bit of a sweetness to it, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

I have heard of Lazy Moon for quite some time and finally checked it out for myself. It's pizza by the slice but not your normal slice - these things are massive! And you can get a variety of toppings for any lifestyle, from plain to all the meats, to vegetarian and vegan. The restaurant itself is also big with tons of seating indoors, outside, and at the bar, which offers a full bar and local craft beers. Everyone working there was very friendly and attentive as well. With all the different pizza slice options, I definitely want to return again to try some more! read more

Alright... so I have visited the other locations before... this was my first time here, and I really had a great experience! Since I got to the counter to order, the staff was super nice (Lars was super helpful), and also constantly the manager was going and checking on the tables to see if we needed something, marinara, honey, etc. We waited just a few minutes until we got our order... HUGE SLICES! We really LOVED the experience and the flavor! This is the signature place with officially the BIGGEST slices of pizza in Orlando! Everything was just amazing, and plus we had a great time. The music, the environment, and the cleanliness were just in the spot. Probably the best pizza you can get in Orlando. You pay a bit more for the better quality. It gets very busy on the weekends, lots of young families. Be prepared to wait a bit if you visit during these times, it took about 25 minutes for our two slices to come out. Next time we're ordering online. read more

The slices of pizza are unbelievably big, there's a lot of options but I got the barbecue chicken and it was very good. Cheesy bread sticks also good but my wife had the 3 meat one and it was ok. Overall I think it's worth checking out. There's also a bar and people were friendly. read more

As someone who's been frequenting Lazy Moon since they got started at the original location by UCF, I was pumped to see they were opening a new spot near me in Maitland. I'm happy to say the new location doesn't disappoint! For those that haven't been before, Lazy Moon offers yuge slices of pizza for reasonable prices. They have a dozen or so pre-built slice options that they've crafted, or you can build your own. My personal favorite is pepperoni and banana peppers. I felt like the slice at the Maitland location was faithful to the Mills location, if not better (the crust seemed a bit fluffier which I like)! They also have a great beer selection as well as some wines and liquor to choose from. As far as ambiance goes, the interior design is modern, minimal, and carefree with lots of stainless steel, light wood, and whimsical murals/artwork/drawings. Perfect for a local pizza joint. While Lazy Moon isn't quite a full service restaurant, they do run your food out to you which came out quickly, and a manager checked in with us to see if we needed anything which was nice. Looking forward to returning, excited to have another solid pizza option in Maitland! read more

The Lazy Moon has counter service with multiple locations. Theres a bar area but I'm not sure if it actually has service or if it was mostly for decor. The pizza is HUGE. Once slice is all you need and it was bigger than my hand and I couldn't even finish it. The buffalo chicken pizza was a pretty standard pizza in a good way. So stoked that this opened up in Maitland. We had visited on a Tuesday night; not much happening. It was quiet and easy to place our order (though we felt a tad rushed). Ordered a plain slice and a Cuban slice and a side of ranch (they charge extra for). Quite a few of the empty tables seemed a little dirty. The pizza was awesome (especially the Cuban) and I wish I had read through the menu more cause the deals are great and I missed the calzones!!! Ordered a take out pizza 20" half mushroom half pepperoni. I've eaten at the colonial location on several occasions in the past and generally enjoyed the pizza there. This location is much closer to home so I figured I would give it a shot.. First off the cheese was sparse and unevenly distributed and seemed to be of a low(er) quality. The sauce was worse, if I had to guess it wasnt even a sauce had a more tomato paste flavor, sharp and was dry. There was a decent amount of mushrooms on the one half but barely any pepperoni on the other half. The dough and crust had no real flavor. I'm not sure if I just went on a bad day or my memory of the other location is rusty but I'm pretty disappointed to drop nearly 40$ with tip and to basically throw half the pizza away. Me and my wife don't eat out too much anymore cause we make really good meals at home but pizza is one of things we don't so to feel I just lit 40$ on fire over nothing, so this sucked as like to feel I get my moneys worth. The reviews seem to positive overall but this is my honest 2c, it gives me no please to drop a low score but I felt compelled to do it. read more

I was offered lots of awesome recommendations and ended up going with the "Down Home Slice" with was loaded with BBQ Sauce, BBQ Smoked Chicken, Red Onions, Bacon, and Mozzarella.
