The white rice was also dry. The only good thing about this meal was the macaroni salad. The food was unappetizing and I only ate a little bit and took home the rest. This is my go-to place for lunch after work on Saturday's. The portions are plentiful, and the prices are good. I'm trying to control how much carbs I'm eating right now, and increase the protein in my diet. This place allows customization with the sides, so it works out perfectly for me. I usually get the plate sized food here for the bigger portion sizes because I'm a big back that burns a lot of calories lol. I ordered the Katsu curry that came with 1 scoop rice and 1 scoop macaroni. I also ordered side of fries and 1 Hawaiian can drink. My meal came out to be $18-$19. I really enjoyed my meal. There's plenty of parking in the lot but it can be very busy during peak times as there is a Target near and other places to eat including a tea place. I got their Mini Loco Moco with a sunny side up egg and with gravy smothered on top. This was ($9.50) and came with a scoop of rice and a scoop of mac. I also got this to go. The gravy had this weird taste after eating it with rice. I actually didn't eat most of it because of the weird taste it had. The hamburger patty also had no flavor but I ate all of it. And the mac had some flavor, but it started giving me a stomachache so I stopped. Honestly, I ate almost all of it minus most of the mac because I needed to eat something. This place is small and has a total of 5-7 tables inside I believe. It's not super packed the few times I've gone, and so you're likely to get a seat in here. I ordered the chicken katsu and curry with rice. I've had Japanese curry and so I assumed that is how it's going to taste. Do not get this! The chicken katsu is ok. I don't know why but it tasted like a gian chicken nugget for some reason. The curry has no salt. It was just a strong curry seasoning flavor, but it's like they didn't add anything else. I purchased the beef bowl and got really sick. I got food poisoning. I called and told the owner and he said that he couldn't do anything about it.
