We have tried several times for delivery this was the last time for Long Beach! It was so dry house chicken 2 orders . Lo mein dry ..no flavor all 3 of us husband myself and our 19 year old daughter! She and I couldn't eat my husband was starving he was what has happened to their food . We have been ordering for 20 plus years but all from HB most really 4 years from Seal Beach what a difference we only ordered from Long Beach because the Seal Beach one was already closed we thought let's give it a try hoping for the best ! So disappointing not sure how they are night and day as far as what we always get even the white rice ..we will continue with Seal Beach just not Long Beach! read more

I showed up to the Pick Up Stix a little after five and they were very busy. I have not ordered ahead, but I was prepared with my phone to watch a video. The people that work here are so nice. They pay really close attention to detail and the food quality is good. It's kind of back to where it was when I first started coming here. OK, so here's the thing I would probably give it about like three stars except the tofu was actually really incredible So I'm vegetarian to take how you will. I love tofu I love all tofu. Obviously, I got the tofu. But it was really really good tofu. Even my boyfriend tried it and he said it was probably the best thing out of everything we ordered. Given that, we did also get noodles and my boyfriend. I think got something chicken. These were just OK. I would say panda express was probably better for those items. But the tofu was really delicious and I will probably just be back to get an just the tofu. Surface was good. Friendly. We did dine in, but most everyone was to intake out or Uber eats or something. I wouldn't say this is a fancy nice place but is reasonable to sit there and eat at the table. read more

Very disappointing...we have been customers for more than 15 years and have always loved the food. But tonight it was terrible, the house chicken came in chunks of dry meat. With hardly any sauce. It used to be smaller pieces with a generous amount of house sauce. And the lo mein was a combination of noodles, one which was stringy, and not appealing. So disappointing. I ordered food from them this lunch time with my husband. Mongolian beef, fried rice, original chicken and noodles. It was so disgusting. Original chicken and noodle was so bad. We tried one bite and it went to the trash can. It was shocking... we ate half of beef and fried rice then both of us got diarrhea. Don't go there, it's a waste of money and makes you sick. I wasn't going to leave a review, but honestly their low rating shocked me. I have never been here before but was in the same shopping center and it smelt good. So decided to grab some take out. It's a fast food place, I don't know what people expect. They have nice patio seating outside, I liked all the food I ordered besides the egg rolls and the place is pretty clean. They asked me to leave a review (in exchange for free fountain drinks), so here I am. Been coming to this location for years and it's been reliable, but today sucked. To be fair, my dining partner's meal (honey chicken and brown rice) was ok, but my Chinese salad w/ salmon was just awful: lettuce going brown/bad, stale noodles, way too many sesame seeds to cover it all, and salmon that looked more like chicken. I rarely ever go to commerical chain Chinese food places, but I had ordered Pick Up Stix for takeout since one of my classmates had recommended it. He loves their wonton soup, which I should have asked to taste... FIRECRACKER CHICKEN. I love the sweetness followed by a little kick of heat. Gotta say, this was my first time having the firecracker chicken, and I enjoyed the flavor and the texture. Tasted like glazed fried chicken. Had this with steamed rice I made at home. CHOW MEIN. So, this was okay. Not spectacular. Will def do the firecracker chicken again. Maybe try the firecracker sauce with the tofu next time. If they can get the texture of the tofu to crisp like fried chicken, I know it will be totally bomb when glazed. read more

This used to be an easy go to for some good food that was healthy and quick... something happened since the pandemic because the quality of the food has gone away. I always get the Pad Thai noodles and the last two times I have gotten them (included my last stop) it seems they are using egg noodles instead of rice noodles... definitely not the same. I love Asian food, and this is delicious, just made to fit my budget! Many of their entrees include chow mein and/or fried rice, and they give you a Lot! The Drunken Noodles and Chicken Vegetable entrees are great, and many have spicy and gluten free options.
