A few moms and I came here for happy hour before catching a movie at the Lot. They have a pretty decent HH menu. We shared sliders, truffled fries and crispy calamari plus we each got a Mai Tai. The portions were decent for HH. The drinks were strong even though it was HH pricing. It was a Friday evening, but not busy. We were able to get a table in their HH area right away. We had to flag down our waitress a few times, but maybe that's just HH service. This is really close to my house, and I would definitely come here again for HH.

My filet mignon was perfectly cooked medium rare. The mushrooms were delicious and weren't too oily. Brussels sprouts had a good crunch to it but I could have done without the bacon. I loved the different sauces they had to offer! The tarragon bearnaise was a bit too vinegary for me l but I really enjoyed the red wine bordelaise sauce. The ambience was beautifully lit and perfect for a date night out. Our server was helpful and friendly.

It's been years since I've been here. Came for dinner. We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us. Same ambience. Mood lighting. We were looking forward to have a really good steak! My husband and I ordered the Tomahawk for Two, a salad and a couple sides. Our server was nice but he rarely checked on us. Only when our salads came, when he cleared the salad plates, and next was when the steak came out. Market little gem lettuce: This isn't your typical green salad. It was more like a coleslaw with a lot of wonton strips. Not my favorite. I was hoping for more greens and less dressing. Tomahawk ribeye for two: Huge. Said it would take 45 min which was fine. We ordered it medium rare but it came out pretty rare in the middle for my liking. Although it came with rows of different salts on the cutting board, the steak itself needed flavor. Overall, it wasn't bad but I was hoping for it to be better. Love me a charred steak that's seared on the outside. Sautéed spinach: The seasoning was okay. But also too much. Truffle Fries: Fries are fries. These weren't worth the $14 price tag. I think their sweet spot is during the week for happy hour. It's also the best deal.

I came here years ago at the Santana Row location and had a much better experience, so this visit was really disappointing. I will say the service was great, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The sliders felt very basic, something my teenage niece could have put together. They were served on Hawaiian rolls and ended up being mostly bread. The truffle fries arrived cold, which was a letdown, and the calamari was mostly sitting on a bed of lettuce, making the portion look bigger than it actually was. Overall, it just did not match the quality I remembered. I would never return for happy hour. I left hungry and wanted to just get out of there and spends my money elsewhere.

Great place for happy hour! I met work friends who were in town and we had an enjoyable experience. I would definitely go back for happy hour. The prices were reasonable and the drinks were great. Service is always excellent. I could exist on french fries and cocktails.

We went to LB Steak in San Ramon to celebrate a birthday. We were promptly greeted and seated by the charming hostess. We ordered oysters, steak tartare, filet mignon, Wagyu burgers, and a huge tomahawk steak, truffle fries and Brussels sprouts. Food was excellent as always, and Maria provided excellent service. The dining room was full but the time we left. Earlier there was a part of 12 ladies celebrating lunar New Year, so it was too lively and hard to carry on a conversation. Bishop Ranch offers a lot of parking in the parking structure, outside ground level too, and there is an option for valet parking. The food and service at both San Ramon and Santana Room were excellent, it's only a matter of choosing which location to go to.

Came over for a date night and we were genuinely impressed by the vibes and food! We arrived at 8:50 to a 9 o'clock reservation and were almost immediately sat down. After looking over the menu we ordered drinks and a bread basket for $7. The bread was definitely unique olive sourdough, regular sourdough, rosemary focaccia. The bread was decent but it didn't taste that fresh. We got our food in less than 20 minutes of ordering. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Mac and cheese is definitely some of the best I've had from a steakhouse. This was my first time trying LBs and it's one of my favorites. I guess we got lucky with our server and it not being so busy. Everything was to our liking we were not disappointed. Definitely give them a try!!

Updating my review from last time there is a slight change in the happy hour menu. I've attached a picture as of February 2026. Happy Hour is now Sun to Fri 3 to 6pm. Disappointed the burger isn't on the happy hour menu anymore. The sliders looks like to be the replacement. Not quite the same ( see picture )

I visited LB Steak for a holiday end of the year team lunch. I have been to the Santana Row location years ago, but this time we went to the San Ramon location. We had a group of nine and made our reservation over the phone since the online system would not allow a party that large. We arrived right when they opened at 11:30 on a Monday. We started with appetizers and ordered the calamari and the house bread. The calamari had good texture but definitely needed more sauce. The green sauce on the plate looked nice but was not something you could really dip into. The whipped butter for the bread was very good. For my meal I ordered the boneless ribeye cooked medium with a side of bone marrow. The steak came out cooked correctly and was seasoned well. The quality was good. It was not the best steak I have had, but it was enjoyable and not chewy. The bone marrow was delicious. As a group we shared several sides which included truffle fries, mac and cheese, a loaded potato and brussels sprouts. Everything tasted good. The mac and cheese was just okay since it was a little watery and the flavor was not as rich as I prefer. Our server was polite and efficient but not very personable. He took our orders and checked in when needed but did not really engage with us. Overall LB Steak is a decent choice. It is not my top pick for a steakhouse because there are better options in the Bay Area. My manager chose it since it was centrally located for everyone on our team which worked out well. It was a good meal but not a standout experience.

We recently dined at the Bishop Ranch location of LB Steak in San Ramon for a special birthday celebration and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. To start on a positive note, our server Mike was attentive and provided good service throughout the evening. However, the food quality did not meet expectations, especially given that our meal was nearly $400. * The sautéed white gulf prawns were average * The salads were fine * The boneless ribeye (ordered medium rare) came out rare and was very fatty/gristly * The hamburger was dry * The petite filet was undercooked (rare instead of medium rare) * The lobster was overcooked and chewy * Sides were acceptable but did not make up for the issues with the main dishes There was also confusion about lobster availability when ordering, which added to the inconsistency of the experience. This was meant to be a meaningful birthday dinner, which made the experience especially disappointing. I did try to contact the restaurant directly through their website form and by calling multiple times but have not received any response. Based on past visits, we expected much better and hope the restaurant improves its quality and consistency.

To me, Lb Steak had the most appealing Restaurant Week offering on paper, and fortunately the execution did not disappoint. The lobster roll was the best I've had outside Maine. The steak was a ribeye, providing an exceptional value. For appetizers, you can't go wrong with a properly made Caesar salad; however, the clam chowder was forgettable. Although I cannot comment on the regular menu, I was satisfied with the quality of the Restaurant Week special. I also want to mention that out of three places I frequented for Restaurant Week, LB was the only one displaying their special. Kudos to management for taking the promotion seriously and spending the extra time to train staff!

VISIT & RESERVATION: We came here for Restaurant Week. I've dined at LB Steak several times over the last few years and was excited to try their new prix-fixe offering. When I made the reservation online, I noticed that a credit card was required to book for the Restaurant Week option, but not for the standard menu. It made me wonder why that was necessary. Since we were a group of 4, I chose the prix-fixe option since that's what we were all coming here for. When we arrived, the hostess informed me that no booth was available, even though I had requested one in the reservation notes. It seemed to be the first time she saw the note, as she did a double-take before taking us to our table, which told me the request hadn't been reviewed in advance. She gave me the option of sitting at a regular table or a half booth w/2 chairs on the other side. I declined since it would've been weird for our party of 4. We were then seated at a regular table in the main dining room. On top of that, we were only given two prix-fixe menus for our party of 4, which felt like another small oversight since they make you pick your menu in the reservation. SERVICE: Our server, Alejandro, was unfortunately neither welcoming nor attentive. Since this was the first visit for two members of our party, I felt a bit embarrassed by the lack of hospitality. Our drink order took a while to be taken, and throughout the meal, he checked on us only a few times. When he did, the interactions felt unwelcoming, rather than warm. Almost like he dreaded coming to our table and only stopped by to check off a box to say he did. The service was extremely disappointing and not consistent with past experiences here. DRINKS: Hubby loves his old fashioned so he got one of those and their ice cube with the engraving is always so impressive to us. I ordered a mocktail which was good but a tad too sweet, while the other two in our party ordered a glass of wine which they seemed to enjoy. FOOD: We all selected the prix-fixe menu. -Starter: The Caesar salad was excellent, with anchovies that added a nice touch. Someone in our group had the clam chowder, and they thought it was very good. -Entrée: My steak frites was cooked to the requested medium-rare and was tender, but lacked seasoning. In the past, LB Steak presented a tray of assorted salts, which was a nice detail, but this time I was simply given a salt shaker. The bearnaise sauce was cold and goopy. When I asked our server about it, he said it's served like that. I didn't eat it and wasn't needed. -Dessert: I chose the apple pie, which I enjoyed, though it could have been served warmer. Others in the group found it too sweet. One only ate half, and the other barely touched theirs. My husband ordered the lava cake, but it lacked the lava molten center and instead had a static, goopy chocolate filling. While less sweet in flavor compared to the apple pie, the presentation and texture were underwhelming. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Certain parts of the meal stood out, the Caesar salad in particular, but the overall experience was diminished by inattentive service, reservation quirks, and the absence of those special touches that once set LB Steak apart. It also left the impression that, because we chose the prix-fixe menu, we may not have received the same level of attentiveness as guests ordering à la carte. ADDITIONAL NOTES: There were some small but noticeable service misses: -Bread was offered, but we later learned it now carries an extra charge, unlike in past visits. -Coffee was only offered once we were already halfway through dessert, which was too late. -The credit card hold for Restaurant Week felt unnecessary, especially when paired with service that didn't meet expectations. -Earlier in the Summer, I tagged LB Steak in my Instagram stories as my husband and I had gone for Happy Hour, and they replied to my stories saying if I ever made a reservation in the future, to let them know. I did so for this visit w/the reservation details, but the message was left on "seen." LOL. Not a big deal in itself, but it felt inconsistent and odd, especially given the overall lack of attentiveness during our meal.

We were seated quickly outside. It was such a nice evening out and not cold. There were heat lamps too if needed. Our server was Toni. She was amazing and took care of us! She was super sweet and friendly! Excellent service. We ordered the streak frites, fish of the day which was a salmon and risotto, Paloma and lemon meringue. Steak frites was cooked perfectly! It was a hanger steak so it was soft and tender. Fries were crispy and it came with an arugula side salad. Dressing was lemony. Toni was so nice and even found us something similar to chimichurri sauce. The fish of the day was a salmon with risotto. It was cooked medium. Not over cooked and nice and flakey. Risotto was really good and lemony. The lemon meringue was probably one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. It came with a raspberry compote. The meringue was sooo soft and whipped and came with a delicious graham cracker crust. We even asked if they sold the pie as a whole but unfortunately they don't. Loved this spot! Will def be back. When my friend and I shared a plate, he made his disapproval known. I'm happy to pay a split fee. Just don't make me feel judged for it -- especially when the table ordered plenty of wine/cocktails, entrees, desserts, sides, and bottled water. Speaking of which: I asked for still, bottled water. He brought tap. When I followed up, he arrived with a single small Aqua Panna -- tap glasses still on the table. When I pointed out one bottle wasn't enough for our party, he dropped two more without pouring any of them. We now had twelve glasses of water crowding the table and not one filled -- except for the tap. That pattern held all night. Empty wine glasses, cocktail glasses, dirty plates -- nothing was ever proactively cleared. Everything required asking. Repeatedly. He also cleared across guests rather than walking around the table. Basic. But the most serious issue: at the start of dinner, he asked about allergies. One guest clearly stated a walnut and pecan allergy. He then brought out a dessert containing pecans. That's not an oversight. That's a liability. We tipped generously anyway... But it wasn't earned tonight. Esin has always been a place I look forward to when I'm back in town. Tonight was a real disappointment.

So we sat in the patio which had fans and nice plants which shaded well. Felt like sitting a garden and was cool. However when walked through the restaurant to the patio it was almost all empty and plenty of tables so kinda odd. Service was okay, kinda slower than I expected. Poor server also spilled water all over me but I was thankfully wearing shorts so it was okay. Food was great though! We ordered a Sedona chicken sandwich with garlic fries and chicken picatta. Sandwich was kinda like a grilled chicken burger. The thicken breast was moist and fries were crispy and tasty. Chicken picatta was delicious and perfectly mixed with mashed potatoes, spinach, capers. The chicken wasn't dry. Pear martini was the best. I would come here just for this drink. I think they home make the syrup. Old fashioned was good but a little sweet.

The mussels, however, were excellent--generously sized and served with a well-balanced blend of herbs and lemon that complemented the dish nicely. Service: The waitstaff were adequate, but the busboys stood out for their friendliness, attentiveness, and politeness. Ambience: The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, featuring high ceilings and a beautifully renovated interior that creates an inviting dining environment.

They gladly welcomed us by rearranging some high top tables in the corner which allowed for space for us to have great conversations. Our server, Felix, was extra nice and patient with us. For starters we shared the Wood Oven Acme Bread served with European butter and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts which I really enjoyed. It had an extra crunch with peanuts mixed in and just flavored perfectly with lime, chili, and a hint of ginger. Most of us had their Smash Burger served with a side of fries. The burger was this delicious hearty portion of beef topped with their sweet and savory Billionaire's bacon, American cheese, and caramelized onion. I took home half of my burger and my husband found it rather satisfying. Someone had the Penne Pasta with chicken and she said it was really delicious but she also had some to take home as the portion was quite generous. Another one in our party had the Fish Tacos made with wild cod which she found to be tasty but the chipotle crema may have been a little much for her. Felix was on point with refills on our Iced Tea, a couple of us found their Lemon Drop cocktail refreshing and another one in our party enjoyed their sparkling Chandon. A great spot with personable service, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. It's the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.

We live in Pleasanton and have chosen to come out here because it was waay better than Regal ended up being after COVID. 3. Overall the movie theater rooms and staff in them are great. Now on to the ..GET IT TOGETHER please! The women's restrooms especially on the side where theater 10 is are just deplorable! The management turn over or whatever has made the LOT go down hill overall in the last couple of years is inexcusable. I think staff do the best they can but to have what was a 100% nice restaurant and theater turn into a leveled up dump especially when it comes to the restroom cleanliness is really terrible. We sat at the bar today and I looked down at the floor and it clearly has years of not being swept/cleaned. Staff is one issue but management should not be okay with cleanliness being less than basic.

In short, pretty hefty amount of food that wasn't too bad for cafeteria style food. L O C A T I O N Inside Roundhouse Market & Conference Center. It's all the way in the back, basically end of the line when it comes to the food area here. Lots of seating both inside and out. F O O D O P T I O N S They had probably the most meat/protein options in various ways like plates, salads, bowls, etc. You could also get the same soup that you can get from Quarterly as they share the same kitchen. I opted for the Korean chicken bulgogi bowl. It was sizeable. There was a mound of rice, pickled cucumbers with red onions and kimchi alongside a heaping amount of chicken plus a drizzle of spicy sauce. I didn't have breakfast this morning as I was quickly heading out and was pretty busy this morning so I inhaled this and hit a full point with still a lot of it still left. It was pretty tasty. Would I say it's Korean? Meh. S E R V I C E I ordered on the left side of the counter and by the time I walked over to the other side to hand my ticket, get a drink and pay, my order was ready. Now that's quick. I think it's cause everything is prepped and they just assemble it. They were very friendly and service with a smile goes a long way. O V E R A L L I think if I was super hungry like I was today or there was a way for me to fridge leftovers, I'd totally be back. It was quite quick and easy and fairly good and sizeable. I will definitely be back to try more items next time.

It's a sandwich/burger place but any protein dish can be made into a plate with your choice of sides. They got tri-tip, cheeseburger, Peruvian Roast Chicken, Salmon, Impossible Burger, and my favorite: Tombo Tuna with wasabi aioli. Entrees usually come with a salad or potato chips, and a surprise cookie - its pre-bagged and you won't know what it is until you open it. They also have a daily special that's often a hit: Curry Coconut Rice, Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie. Butter Chicken, and Korean Chicken Bulgogi. Yes, these specials come with the surprise cookie too. If the cookie isn't enough, they'll also have a special dessert special for $6. If they offer the chocolate covered macaroons, get them! A bag has like 5-6 good sized pieces for you to share with coworkers or enjoy by yourself. Definitely 5-stars for Office park cafeteria. Service is super fast and they handle lines with ease. Plenty of indoor seating and outdoor lakeside seating.
