    Half Fruit Waffle

Ordered the half waffle with fruit and it was so delicious! Amazing helpful service! Enjoyed my coffee and food on the sunny patio. Coffee is a strong dark roast.

    Egg croissant

I tried this place out on a Saturday morning. Unfortunately only the pepperoni is halal, so i had to order a egg croissant without the turkey bacon. For $9, I would have expected a lot more flavor. It was pesto sauce with an egg and cheese and croissant. It wasn't very filling, unfortunately, either. With so many options available nearby, the price point and amount of food, I think I would prefer going elsewhere.

    Sushi Crepe

Straight to business - came for the Sushi Crepe and my god it was perfect. Banana on the inside, strawberry on top, and Nutella drizzle all around. And they weren't shy with the Nutella (thank goodness)! This cafe is cute. Intimate and cozy-looking yet surrounded by the most spacious courtyard and plentiful seating both indoors and outdoors. We did come pretty late at night so I'm not sure if this place is crowded during the day. At night, parking was readily available. Sushi Crepe was a 5/5. There were so many desserts on their menu that my sweet tooth must try but I do have to say that the price point was a bit higher than I expected. I have my eye on the chocolate strawberries cup next!

This was a cool semi hidden spot near Irvine Spectrum! Giving cafe vibes with a nice park view and a dog park nearby! Service was very nice & friendly! I got the dubai chocolate cheesecake, Fettucine Crepe & the buffalo chicken flatbread! My favorite was the flatbread! It was bomb. If you got a sweet tooth the cheesecake & crepe are for you! The Crepe was loaded with nutella. Definitely recommend this place!

    Dubai chocolate bar $12
    Mary D.

This place is located in The Park Apartments, and is convenient when you need to grab a coffee, tea, or snack. I have actually never tried their breakfast items. My go to is the hot chai latte or the dirty chai latte. They are very flavorful and not overly sweet. I would definitely pick this spot any day over Starbucks. The only thing is, the drinks here are quite expensive and the coffees and lattes are about $10 each. Service is pretty quick and the staff is very nice. Beginning around January 2025, Le Cafe began offering Dubai chocolate items on display, which include a Dubai chocolate cup with strawberries, the viral Dubai chocolate bar, a crepe, and even brownies! I am happy to say I finally have tried the chocolate bar. The prices for the Dubai chocolate items are quite high due to the expensive cost of the kataifi (filo dough) and pistachio filling. The small bar costs a whopping $12! The strawberry cup is $17, and the crepe is $19. You can also preorder a giant Dubai chocolate bar for $50. So on to the taste test of the viral Dubai chocolate bar... The milk chocolate was pretty standard, but the filling was quite good and buttery, with a slight crunch from the kataifi. However, the filling could have been thicker as the bar was mostly chocolate (There were 10 bite sized squares so I had already eaten 2 squares prior to taking the picture). I would like to try some of their other items such as the brownie and crepe in the future. Happy eating!

Mini BBQ Chicken Flatbread and Strawberry Lemonade
    Michelle N.

Was at the Irvine Spectrum area when I was looking to try a new coffee spot to get some work done. This one looked nearby, so I decided to drive over and give it a try. This is a little cafe in the middle of an apartment complex. Parking is a little of a hassle but if you go into the garage area, there are parking spaces available for visitors to park. I was able to find parking nearby and walked across the street to the cafe. There were tons of options, but I had just gotten some dental work done, so opted in to try a strawberry lemonade and a mini bbq chicken flatbread. I did not initially look at the posted menu, but there are ordering kiosk which I was exploring. The menu on the kiosk did not seem to match the posted menu of the items they had. BBQ Chicken Flatbread: perfect size, as it was 2 slices and just what I wanted. The temperature of this just seemed like it was warm, not hot. Nothing too special about it, but I did like how it did not have any onions like a lot of other bbq chicken flatbreads or pizza. Strawberry Lemonade: I couldn't find the matcha on the kiosk and was not feeling coffee so I went for a strawberry lemonade. Also nothing too special about this, but I wish I would have been able to find the matcha. Overall, this is a quiet little place that had an extensive menu and quick service. The seating space is a bit small, but there are definitely a number of seats and outlets if you need to charge up. I would have to come back and dry their desserts, as that is what they are known for! Sushi crepes looks interesting!

I love love love crepes. I found out about the existence of this cafe when I visited my friend, who lives in this Irvine company apartment village. I never knew they have shops in these mega apartment complexes. The fact that they had crepes was a calling card for me to come back and come back I did. I ordered the fruit crepe with Nutella and pistachio sauce, and it has ruined all crepe experiences for me. This is the most amazing and delicious crepe I've had ever. The crepe itself is on the chewy side, which is so good. The sauces were decadent and I would be lying if I didn't say I was licking them off the packaging. The fruit was fresh and abundant. When I came back in and took some pics for the Yelp, I told the employee that this was the best crepe I've ever had and he recommended the Belgium one for next time as it has Belgium chocolate on it along with bananas and strawberries. I told him, why wait, and I ordered the Belgium to go. I did split it up into 3 servings for the week, but the chocolate sauce is devine. They serve illy coffee, which complements the crepes. I am beyond excited I found this amazing crepe destination. Parking is tricky on street level, but there is garage level visitor parking also. Service is amazing. Outdoor seating is comfortable. Please visit to create your own experience.

Quick service and tons of options. I come here specifically for the espresso **illy** I don't think it's Turkish coffee I rarely treat myself to a coffee and when I do this is my go-to. I live in lake forest and pop in here and there. CONS: skip the pizza, parking is very very limited. Typically, I'd resort to turning on the hazard lights to run in and grab my online order- underground visitor parking available but it would be tough with kids in tow. Not a lot of shade available. PROS: it's a nice stroll around the quad with a play structure on one corner and a dog run in another. I know this place must be a gem because I saw a couple of police units having lunch here. I took a photo of a few new menu items with viral Dubai chocolate concept because I noticed it was off menu and not available for online ordering.

Jad and Malik were working today! I came in today around 11:30 close to lunch time and and boy!!! The area is so nice. It's in the middle of some apartments and really owns the spot! Anyways I got the egg cheese, turkey, bacon croissant with a large Spanish latte recommended by jad and looks like Malik was handling food orders. Everything came out quick and the experience with the setting made it a 10/10 experience:) thank you to Jad and Malik !

Unfortunately, even after bringing it up, I continued waiting while other customers' drinks were being made, including remaking a drink for someone who had just walked in. By the time I got my refund sorted out, the whole situation took around 30 minutes total. I understand mistakes happen, and I'm not trying to be a Karen, but I was disappointed that there didn't seem to be any urgency after realizing I had already been waiting so long. 5 stars for the goma matcha latte and milk bread with crunchy pearls!…read more The goma matcha latte 5/5 had a black sesame paste that was like the black sesame version of smooth peanut butter! One could probably eat it by the spoonful! Such a complex flavor complement to the matcha latte. The matcha latte (4/5) felt fairly strong (I estimate 4g at least), and the mango puree tasted real/ fresh but was nothing special. However, I did like that it was not too sweet. Caveat: I am partial to mango/coconut milk or mango sticky rice matcha lattes. The goma matcha was worth the $8 pricetag. Tip: Matcha Mondays=10% off matcha drinks! The mango one maybe was worth it due to the amount of matcha, but I do feel like I could make it at home. The milk bread ($5.50) was soft, with a delightful bursting sweet cream filling topped with those shite pearly crunchies-- unique and delicious. I also loved the kinako an pan (sweet bread with red bean filling, $5.50) because of the nostalgic flavors, but also because the azuki bean had a nice crunchy sugar quality. It was on the drier side the day after purchase, but I enjoyed it. Service was cheerful and speedy. The space is pretty large with probably as much outdoor seating as indoor, and there were a few open spots at 1:30 on a Monday. Parking was plentiful in the shared plaza lot with some shady spots. The single person behind the counter who was taking orders and working as barista was not exactly charming but it was understandable as she was slammed with multiple customers right when I arrived. My order was presented within a couple minutes (she was great at multitasking!) and I sat out on the patio. The iced mint cold brew was refreshing and was like drinking a box of Campfire Girl mints, both chocolatey and minty (sidebar: I am so sad that, as of last year, those mints are no longer made). It essentially was a mocha made with coconut milk and mint syrup; I really liked it. The pastry was rather dry but the raspberry filling was vibrant in flavor and not overly sweet. The vibe is more of a place for hotel guests to have a business meeting or to grab something prior to dashing off to a corporate event rather than just a place to hang out. But it's also a great option if you are near the Irvine Spectrum and just want to stop to quickly get a coffee drink and sit for a short break.

The menu mentions that hot teas make the wait time a bit longer cause they heat it'll up. Topping options are somewhat limited, but that's perfectly fine for me since I always choose aloe vera. They also offer soy and oat milk alternatives, though the menu notes that dairy provides the creamiest texture for their milk teas and encourages you to stick with dairy if you can have it. All of our food came out fresh. I had the scramble and side salad. Salad was fresh and just enough dressing on it. I tried my friend's lemon ricotta hotcakes and it was sooooo good. Perfectly fluffy. Great lemon flavor and that butter they make is to die for. Don't get it if you are borderline diabetic. Get something else. Bc you'll want to eat more and more. But it's the perfect amount of sweet. It's not overpowering. I also ordered their seasonal ube matcha latte and that was delicious. Service was friendly. And one of the girls was seen scrubbing clean a toddler high chair. Most places have sticky high chairs. Seeing her wipe and scrub it down in all the creases let me know this place is well taken care of. Glad we stopped by.

The plaza itself is one straight line with a Starbucks in the middle of it. Nightmare to get in and out of. Hope you have your legs still after walking to and from your car with the way people drive in this parking lot. Their food is sooo mid. I've tried their lunch items. I've tried their breakfast. I don't get it. It's not even mid, I'm sorry. At least it's better than Denny's.

We walked into a space designed around soft colors, cute details, and Hello Kitty inspired decorations that make it feel more like stepping into a character themed world than a traditional café. The attention to detail throughout the space is what makes the experience stand out, especially if you enjoy taking photos or are a longtime Sanrio fan. The interior is playful and intentional, with every corner offering something visually engaging that fits the brand's aesthetic. The café offers a mix of desserts, pastries, and drinks that match the playful theme. The desserts are designed to be visually appealing with Hello Kitty inspired touches, from decorated cookies and macarons to cakes and specialty treats. The madeleines are a simple but enjoyable option, with a light texture that makes them easy to snack on while taking in the surroundings. The apple pie is another highlight, offering a nice balance of sweetness and texture without feeling overly heavy, a good choice if you want something that feels like a proper dessert rather than just a novelty item. The drink menu also fits the theme well, with options like strawberry based lattes that bring the colorful aesthetic together and add to the overall visual appeal of the visit. The main appeal here is really the overall experience rather than just stopping by for a dessert. The tea room adds a more elevated feel with a dedicated sit down setting, while the main café area works well for a quick visit to grab a drink or treat. The tea room in particular feels more intentional, with a setup that encourages you to settle in and enjoy the space rather than rushing through. The staff adds to the experience with friendly service that matches the welcoming atmosphere of the space, making the visit feel warm and approachable even for those who are not deeply familiar with the brand. Because the café is built around a specific theme, it is the type of place where expectations matter. It is less about finding the most innovative desserts and more about enjoying the combination of food, décor, and the Hello Kitty experience. The cute presentation and photo friendly environment make it a fun stop, especially for fans of Sanrio or anyone looking for a memorable café visit. The food is enjoyable, but it is the setting that makes the visit feel distinct from a standard café. Hello Kitty Café succeeds at creating a fun and immersive experience. The desserts and drinks are enjoyable, but the biggest reason to visit is the atmosphere and attention to detail. It feels like a place designed for slowing down, taking photos, and enjoying a little bit of nostalgia, offering a visit that feels more like an activity than just a quick stop for a sweet treat.

This was a really cool and cute tea experience so i'm glad i was able to do it. For the price point…read morei would do it just this once. My friend and i did the bow room afternoon tea which is SO pink and gold and hello kitty perfection! They started us with chocolate mousse and strawberries which was delicious and i picked the honeyed pear tea (non caff) and my friend got earl grey. My tea smelled and tasted amazing. The sugar cubes are pink hello kitty shapes. Our tea came with 2 of everything: cucumber hk faces, beet hummus pitas (tiny), 2 egg salad waffle cups, lemon tarts, blueberry scones. chicken salad croissants, macarons, strawberry tarts, and little petit-four type cakes. Everything was quite delicious and i did get full from it and i didnt even drink all my tea. It seems like the pots are endless refills but nothing else is. I was disappointed that they gave us one small pat of butter and one little thing of jam for both of us - at that portion size we needed 1 each. Had a nice time! Would like to revisit the "to go" counter next time. Everyone was SOOO friendly and helpful but not smothering. Everything is perfectly hello kitty which i love.
