This place serves up some Good steak! Great service and a nice atmosphere, I was there for a birthday celebration with a group of 12 friends and family. We were seated right away and hit the salad bar. It was nicely stacked with charcuterie, salads, and some good hot food as well. They had rice, beans, and some great tasting oxtails! Then came the meat! Sausages, roasted pork, bacon wrapped chicken, skirt steak, filet mignon, rib steak, barbecue ribs, and some garlic steak not sure what the cut was, but all the meat was pretty good. My favorite was the filet mignon and the skirt steak which were delicious. They certainly make sure you don't leave hungry, then they end the dinner with some delicious grilled pineapples. They also have some good deserts for you to choose from including some delicious guava cheese cake! The guava sauce they put over the top of the cake is really good. I didn't partake in the drinks because I had enough the night before but they seem to make some nice looking drinks. I enjoyed some passion fruit juice which was really tasty. There heat wasn't working so it was cold in the restaurant but I can forgive that since we had a great dinner. I have been to numerous Brazilian steakhouse experiences. This one ranked with some of the best ones I have been to. The salad bar, though not enormous, offers an outstanding variety of both hot and cold selections. The "Full Rodizio" experience where the waiters come around with the variety of meats is very reasonably priced and all the cuts were very good. The chips on the table are really kind of meaningless at this place--and actually most places like this. The waiters don't even look for them, and the nicest feature of Leblon is you don't feel rushed. Had visited Leblon back in December for dinner with a friend. We have been to waiting to visit this Rodizio for awhile. We had made a reservation ahead of time but it wasn't a busy that weeknight. Noah was our waiter and took our order for drinks. We then went to the buffet bar and there was a variety of sides like salads, charcuterie, rice, mashed potatoes, beans, and vegetables so much more. As we ate, the meats were slowly coming out. They had a great variety of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, different sausages. The meats were cooked perfectly and very juicy and served at the right temperature. For beef they asked how we liked it cooked and was able to cut a piece that was to our liking. The meats were delicious! We tried every meat that was brought to our table. They also served this grilled cheese and drizzled honey on top. That was good and I definitely asked for more when they came around again. And of course my favorite was the grilled pineapple! Omg it definitely hit the spot after eating all the meat! We did have the start/stop cards that would let the wait staff know to stop by the table. They still stopped by even if it did say stop but there were some meats that I wanted more of. Dinner was overall enjoyable. The wait staff was warm and welcoming. It was not too busy so the wait staff came around multiple times with all the rodizio meats. I will definitely be back again! It's been a while since I've had AYCE Brazilian bbq so I was eager to check this place out. The buffet bar was a lot better than I was expecting. I thought it was going to be just your standard salad bar, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items. They had beef tartare, smoked salmon, seafood salad, soups, cheeses and cured meats, etc. As the bbq meats, they have a pretty good variety as well, from filet mignon to beef ribs to ribeyes. Pro tip: skip the chicken and sausages and save your appetite for the prime cuts. Also, the cinnamon coated grilled pineapple is amazing. So definitely try that. Came here for Sunday lunch - they are currently doing a $30 weekend lunch for rodizio which is mainly why we came to try this place. Added bonus, on sundays they have all day happy hours. At first they advised that HH is only at the bar so we could go there first and then sit down and enjoy the rodizio. Then they seated us at a table near the bar area and accommodated the happy hour menu there. Tried sangria, old fashioned, and a lemon based drink all were perfect! All the meats were delicious but of course the picanha is what I enjoy the most and this was one of the best I've had. The other red meats were more on the medium or even medium well side so I didn't enjoy them as much but no problem - I asked for more pichanha and they delivered. This was a delicious night out! We typically go to Fogo de Chao for special occasions, and then to Picanha when we are saving money. I would put Leblon right in the middle of these two, quality-wise. Meats came out quite often, and they were always cooked perfectly. Their picanha was delicious. The salad bar could have been fresher/ my mashed potatoes had a rubbery top when I scooped it out, and didn't taste that good either. The pao di queijo (cheese bread balls) were yummy! Those are what I eat the most of. Drinks were delicious but very expensive. More so even than fogo de chao. You also can't partake in happy hour drink prices if you are sat in the dining room. Came here for their Rodizio to celebrate A special occasion. It is a little on the pricier side but most definitely worth it. The range of meats they had was very broad and every single one was perfectly cooked. The waiters did a great job in getting us what we needed and we were able to request certain meats to come out or be prepared. We also got a pitcher of passion Fruit caipirinha and it was strong and flavorful but not overwhelming. The rodizio also comes with a buffet for sides. This is the best buffet I've ever had come with a rodizio as it has a lot of different tasty options from rice, oxtail, cheese, pasta and fruits. We were sending our oldest back to college, and we like to go out for a nice meal before he leaves, as the college cafeteria isn't quite as good as what's served at home. We went for the full rotation (rodizio) as is typical at a Brazilian steak house, which is all you can eat meat including a number of different steak cuts, lamb, chicken, and sausage as well as a buffet salad bar. All of the cuts of meat were good, at least two were excellent (one being the Picanha). The meat came out directly from the kitchen, nice and hot and cooked perfectly. Our first time here we had great service, and the food was also really good. Our second time was enough to probably turn me off from coming again. We had 7:30 reservations with another couple, and we were seated right away. They seemed busy, and they had live music. Our server came over and took our drink order. It took a while for us to get water at the table, and we waited a while to get drinks. One drink came out after a while, and then the three of us waited another 10 minutes or so for two more drinks to come out. The fourth persons drink finally came out another 10 minutes after that. It's very strange that there was such a long wait, and you didn't bring our drinks out at the same time. We also all would've gotten another round of drinks, yet weren't asked until the end, and we didn't want to take a chance that we would have to wait that long again. Throughout this the food was good, but I wouldn't say it was as good as the last time. We also had another strange thing happen. When we asked for more water, he started pouring and then came back and added ice to our drinks. We then realized he had given us hot water! The ice melted and all of our waters were still warm. Incredibly disappointed after our first visit Saturday June 17th. After reading the positive reviews here, I had high hopes. I didn't expect Leblon to rival the great Brazilian steakhouses of Newark or NYC, but I certainly expected better than the amateur hour experience we suffered through this evening. Right from the get-go, there was confusion as to who our server was. Two young ladies at separate times, stepped up and announced themselves as such. Neither one could answer basic questions about the draft beer tap list and promised to go find an answer for us and never returned. After flagging one down we finally got the answer we needed and placed our drink order, only to be told 15 minutes later what we wanted was no longer on the menu. When the evening starts off like this, things can ONLY get better right? The unlimited salad bar is not bad, quite good in fact. However, at a Brazilian steakhouse it should NOT be the star of the show! And in fact, it was. Here come the meats, the full Rodizio experience I was looking forward to for weeks! Garlic Steak, followed by Filet wrapped in bacon, followed by Garlic Steak, followed by Filet wrapped in bacon, followed by Garlic Steak, followed by Filet wrapped in bacon, followed by...you get the picture. I asked where the other meats were, like the standard of all Brazilian steakhouses, the Picanha! One guy glared at me and gave me an attitude (this guy was a jerk all night incidentally) and another said "coming right up!" Well it never came and later the "coming right up guy" asked me how the Picanha was! I told him I would be be a better judge if you actually served it to me. Pathetic. Oh wait, we did have one variation from the Garlic steak/ Bacon Filet parade - grilled pineapple. Great, thanks........... Numerous times the guys carving the meats showed up to our table of 4, with only enough meat for one customer. This would be ok if they actually came back in a timely fashion, but these guys move in slow and stop speeds only. More than once we had a person at our table with a full plate, while the other 3 sat there licking their chops. Brazilian steakhouses are known for NOT leaving you wanting, that's the charm of the whole Rodizio experience. That and friendly welcoming staff, not a bunch of slow pokes in a death march and one guy with a serious attitude, deeply in need of a hug. A huge disappointment and a big thumbs down. My husband and I along with a friend went Feb 8. We sat along the road at a window seat. Unfortunately, by the time the carvers got to that side of the room the meat the skewers had barely any meat left on them and what they did have was well done and dry. They gave us slivers of meat. Totally disappointing. The chicken wings were not fully cooked, we were never offered sausage, lamb or pork. An adjourning table was offered what looked like big chunks of filet mignon. We were not. It was not worth the price. Our guest ordered coffee with his dessert. The coffee came right away however the cake came 15 mins later. My husband ordered a whiskey to have with his dessert. The whiskey never came. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to any of my friends. It was awful. read more

Ok, first of all, $50 for all you can eat steak is a wonderful deal these days. On top of that, the steak ranges from very good to absolutely delicious, leaning mostly to the delicious side. Food was OK, nothing to write home about but decent meat, sides were tasty but a little weird not really traditional Brazilian fare, some things were like the fried yuca or the beans and rice but not really expecting lobster ravioli at a place like this. My biggest complaint and what honestly ruined the experience was the service, drinks took forever, plates were never cleared, things were asked for and never brought, I literally asked for ketchup for my toddler 7-8 times before it finally came 3/4 of the way into the meal. They seem to have one server for things like drinks and requests and the rest are walking with skewers but there was 75 people in the place and one guy running around trying to keep up with everything they need to hire more servers or do something so people aren't waiting 15 minutes for a soda or 45 minutes for ketchup. Also they say it is all you can eat but they just stop coming by your table after about an hour which is just a huge problem for me and dishonest at best. I know AYCE is a tight rope to walk and still turn a profit but no one is twisting your arm to do it that way, if you are going to limit people then say there is a time limit or just be al a carte and have people order steaks. I literally had to ask them to send more meat and they came by with two more skewers at the same time and then again nothing for 20 minutes which is where I finally gave up and just ordered dessert. Went there recently with my girlfriend and her 7 year old daughter for Christmas Eve Dining and had an excellent five star experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and the service of the staff was excellent. Both the salad bar and the meat service were excellent and personable. Definitely enjoyed it more than the popular chain restaurant. The owner of the restaurant was very nice and came by and visited. The owners mother was the hostess and a very nice woman.
