Came here to pick up lunch for the office. I used GPS and still had a difficult time finding the entrance because the shopping center is in the process of major renovations. Once I located the entrance there was a small wait to pick up my order. I was very surprised that I was not offered any assistance to my car. My ordered contained four x- large pizzas and 2 catering sized salads. I had to make two trips to my car while in heels and a skirt. My favorite Ledo's pizza location, not to mention my daughters as well. Service and food is pretty good for a Ledo's. I like their salads, chicken wings, bacon cheese fries and spicy ravioli and of course their pizza's. My daughters love the pizzas. Every time I mention we are coming here they get so happy. So before you read anything else, the pizza here is amazing. However the employee Mark who was taking orders June 8th just had the absolute worst customer service. You would think he absolutely hated his job based on how apathetic he was. I would definitely recommend removing him from any customer facing position so he can be retrained. 3 stars for taste, but based on my recent experiences with their online order system and the time it took to get my order of pizza, 2 stars overall. We had ordered a large pizza via the online system, got the confirmation email, and my family member went to pick up the pizza after a 15 min wait. She was told they had not seen her order when she arrived and told her to wait another 20 minutes. They didn't offer her any sort of discount or compensation for this additional delay. Pizza online order systems should be quick and efficient, and yes - technology makes mistakes, but the mark of an A-OK business or better requires businesses to own up to those mistakes. The large pizza itself well made with fluffy corner bread, although the cuts of the pizza were rather inconsistent between large and small rectangles and usually I feel there is more meat on the pizza (sausage/chicken) in this case, the pizza tasted fine. I think like others have expressed in their reviews, there may be a recent trend in their online take out ordering, their customer service in handling the situation, and the quantity of meat on the pizzas itself. I love Ledo Pizza. I'm from the Maryland area and grew up enjoying Ledo's. It's something I look forward to enjoying when I travel to the DC area from Los Angeles. I'd been to this particular location, run by Chris Carlini, once before and enjoyed it. This time was not as enjoyable. I arrived at 9:40 p.m. Diners were seated inside enjoying their food. The sign on the door says they're open until 10. I figured I had plenty of time to order that pizza I'd been craving for a year. The sign inside the restaurant said Seat Yourself. So I did. I was approached by the waitress, Katie, who told me they didn't accept any orders past 9:30 and so she wouldn't be able to serve me. I asked if I could order a pizza to go and she said she would go check. After several minutes she returned and agreed to let me order a pizza. I asked for an iced-tea to drink while I waited and she said they'd thrown it all away. I ordered a bottled soft-drink instead. I sat and waited while she continued to serve the other customers and pour them drinks of what looked like tea from a plastic pitcher. My pizza was delivered, as was my check (note the time printed on my receipt in the photo) and was out the door before 10. Overall, a big disappointment, as I'd truly been looking forward to eating a relaxing meal inside the establishment. Always a satisfying meal. We often do carry out. The order usually takes 20 min so we call ahead. A 8 inch pizza and Greek salad with grilled chicken is enough for 2 people without over indulging. My family really enjoys Ledo's pizza and compared to other fast food type pizzas such as Pizza Hut and Dominoes, and Papa Johns, Ledos stands out as the leader for take home family pizza night. We love the thin yet chewy crust, the right amount of sauce that's not too sweet, and the cheese is just right, doesn't slide off or string all over the place. The rectangle shape and the square cuts makes for less crust around the edges which is great for those non crust eaters. We've never dined in and likely never will, and have only ever tried their pizza but I give it a good solid 3 stars. It is what it is. The price is right too. read more

Ordered a pizza for pickup. Interior is spacious. People there were friendly and we had zero problems with the order, waiting, delivery, pickup, asking for cheese/red pepper, etc! Pizza was yummy. We ordered half cheese, half cheese with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Already precut into rectangles for us. Had to knife it again when we got home and the slices were uneven, but really, who cares. Pizza was still nice and warm when we got home. First of all, I want to say that I know that this is Superbowl Sunday and that I knew it was going to take a while for my order. I was ok with that, I was expecting it. It didn't start well to say the least. I called in at 6:10 pm and whoever answered the phone just said "hello?" I was kinda thrown off guard by that, thinking that I called a wrong number so I said can I place a pickup order and the guy on phone said "yeah, what do you want?" Like I said earlier, I knew when I was calling and I knew they'd be slammed so I put it past them for the lack of customer service on the phone. They told me it would be ready in an hour. I purposely got there late, trying to give them extra time in case it wasn't ready yet. I arrived around 7:20 pm. The guy behind the counter said it would be a few more minutes so I waited. 7:30 cane along and I didn't say anything cause I saw the guy who rang me up ask about my order. 7:40 came up and I asked how much longer it would be. The manager on duty just said "it's not quite ready yet" which wasn't the answer I was looking for but again, I let it slide. 7:50 finally came and I again asked how much longer it was going to be, this time I was a little ticked off. The guy who rang me up and the manager went to check on it and came back with, "it's right there." I didn't get my pizza until 7:55, an hour and 45 minutes after I ordered. When the manager got my pizza, he just handed it to me then mumbled something I couldn't pick up to his employees which I did not appreciate at all. It sucks because I have NEVER had a problem with this particular location. Everyone had been more than helpful during all my past visits. I'm quite disappointed at the meal I purchased about an hour ago at this location. I usually get pizza and an occasional sub. However, I decided to try their buffalo wings and garlic/cheese bread. Not the best choice. The sauce was mediocre (compared to other buffalo sauces I've enjoyed) and there was too much fat/skin on the wings. The bread was seemingly stale with too much cheese. Rude employees, hung up phone calls, wrong orders, and overall just a bad vibe. Most recently, we called in and had an employee give us an attitude and got our order wrong (not the first time it's happened either) We wrote in to management about it where management lightly addressed the issue and offered a voucher for our problems. We emailed back and never got a reply. Not that we were chasing the voucher but just left a bad impression of how they don't care about retaining customers. My family and I came in from PA for the weekend, visiting family and wanted a Ledo Pizza fix. We came in Saturday night, and it wasn't busy in the restaurant at all. It took a while to be greeted at the table after trying to find our server. Once we were greeted, drinks came out quickly, we ordered 2 salads, those took a while to come out, and one was missing an ingredient that was asked for at ordering and after it arrived, but wasn't brought out. The Pizzas were correct and were tasty as expected, greasy, which is the way I like it. It had been a lot of years since my kids had the pizza, and they liked it. When we asked for silverware, we saw them being rolled at that time. Having worked in restaurants for a long time, there should be a whole bin with roll ups already. As it wasn't busy, this should have been done. Didn't see a manager on the floor, no leadership to guide the employees as to what needed to be done. Our drinks weren't filled unless asked by us. No criticism, just a coachable moment. I love the food, and get a pizza whenever aim in town as there isn't a Ledo Pizza within 2 hours of where I live in Western PA. So, the pizza here is really good and everyone I interacted with was super nice. I used to go to one in Fairfax, VA and that is why I have docked stars. In comparison to the other one I used to attend, was way nicer in décor, cleanliness and overall feel to the restaurant. When you walk in the North Potomac store, it has a cramped hallway and just feels like a cheap pizza place and not a chain. Also, the place smelled like a bathroom. Another complaint I have is with the rewards program. When I signed up, I was guaranteed a free small cheese pizza through e-mail. This has been my favorite restaurant since childhood, and I still come here for my birthday each year. Their pizza is unlike any other - amazing crunchy crust, sweet sauce, and bubbly, delicious cheese. It's not the best place for pasta, but I have never been disappointed by their pizza. The service is made up of mainly young people, who have always been polite and prompt. This location has really gone downhill in recent years. The pizza is still ok, but they can't handle high volume like they used to. I took a group there recently and we waited over 45 minutes for just a couple simple pizzas and had to repeatedly ask where the food was. Today, I was just told that if I placed an order at 2pm for 5pm pickup and a bunch of orders came in at 4:30 that my 5pm pickup would be pushed to 5:15 or 5:30. How does that make any sense? Shouldn't the 4:30 orders just be told it will take longer to fulfill their work load? I've had miserable experiences on big holidays with orders not being ready for an hour after the scheduled time. I have visited this location frequently to dine in and order to go items for lunch. I have also used their catering options for luncheons or parties at the office. I have always received great service and it is always fairly fast. Ledo's is distinct due to the thin and square shape of their pizza and the sweeter taste of their pizza sauce. My favorite items are the pepperoni pizza, steak and cheese with grilled onions and hot pepper relish, and the Italian salad. The Italian salad has pepperoni, salami, provolone, thin garlic bread crisps and Romano cheese and herb dressing. Told me 20-25 mins and waited an hour! Asked for my pizza well done; the first time it came out it was barely cooked (sent it back) second time it still wasn't done (sent it back) third time I just said I'll take it. I was there for an hour and there was about 20 people waiting with me. I don't mind waiting but tell your customers "we're busy so please allow 45 mins to an hour" Management here is atrocious! Now I'm at home with my pizza in the oven cooking it! By the way - they forgot to put sauce on the pizza! Ledos continues to disappoint but I still go there hoping they can get it right. This place is good! I make a reservation for a party of 50 and I know it's going to be so LIT! This was for my track and field team. Instead of running our butts off at yet another practice, we came here to celebrate the end of the season. At track practice we never cut corners, and neither does Ledo's! We also celebrated the 9th birthday of one of the young athletes. Let them eat cake! One of the employees was sweet enough to bring out the cake with all the candles lit. The restaurant is well-suited for such a party. Be sure to provide them at least one week of notice before your event. We ordered 12 large pizzas and had so many leftovers. Kids prefer cheese and pepperoni pizza by the way. The pizza was amazing. The vegan pizzas were on point, too. The kids loved it and were very well-behaved throughout the evening. The staff has always been friendly when we dine, pizza and breadsticks have been consistent and pretty good toppings. I generally love the greasy goodness of Ledo's Pizza, but last time I came to this location was very disappointing. I ordered a pizza to go, and didn't open the box until I got home. The sauce and toppings were applied so sloppily that a couple of the corner slices were 100% crust, not a drop of sauce. So much for not cutting corners! I wish I was exaggerating. The edges weren't much better. Two stars because the center still tasted delicious. Since I've always loved Ledo's, I'll definitely come back, and I look forward to writing a much better review of my next visit. read more

Been coming here since I was a kid and whenever I'm in town I'll pop back in. It's an informal spot mostly worked by local high school kids so don't expect anything fancy when you come in, but you'll enjoy the pizza. Best part is that you can design half pizzas so everyone is happy! read more

Ledo Pizza has become my new go-to pizza joint in Montgomery County! The quality of the pizza itself is pretty good and I love that you eat them by the square -- helps with the portion control and 'don't feel as guilty about consuming all of that cheesy goodness! They recently added new pizza choices, but I hope they continue to expand their menu. We ordered one large pizza - half tomato pesto (my favorite!) and half meatball. Excellent combination! The service was top-notch. Our server was very attentive, taking down our orders right away and clearing our table as necessary. The manager checked up on us, too (for some reason that always makes me feel good). This is a fun place to take the kids if you have any because they had someone making animal balloons for the youngest of patrons. Also, lots of flat screen tvs all around, so I suspect this would be an awesome spot for watching the big game! I will continue to come back here. This place reminds me of the more traditional, hole-in-the wall type pizza joints I would go to with my family as a kid. A lot of pizza places try to be cool and super gourmet now a days, and I like that Ledo seems to keep it real and just make it about hanging out with your family/friends and eating some good pizza! read more

Folks, this is a pizza joint. To complain about appetizers and the waiters is a bit unrealistic. We go there because they make a good pizza at a reasonable prize. Yesterday my wife and I had salads, pizza, beer, for about 20 bucks. The food was delicious and the service efficient. Why woud I spend any time putting down the waiter in a joint like this? Ledo's does tons of fundraisers for my high school, so I would often go to get something to help them out. This being said, I wouldn't dine here for any other reason but to support my school/class. People rave about the pizza, but I find it to be too greasy for my taste. I'm also not a huge fan of their crusts as they always seem a little dry. The service isn't fantastic either...really depends on when you go. Your wait can be as little as 15 minutes and as much as 45. This Ledo Pizza is in the same plaza as the BK Lounge. There is ample parking and you can stroll over to 7-11 for some slurpies afterwards. I've always ordered take out so I can't comment on the waiter/waitress service. However, from my experience with the people taking orders at the register, they don't really seem like they want to be there. The pizza here is pretty greasy but sometimes it hits the spot. The calzone is decent and the stromboli is a greasy kind of yummy but it's also 2000 calories which made me definitely regret eating it. They also have about 5-6 beers on tap (I can't remember the exact amount but you can look at the picture I uploaded). Overall, Ledo Pizza is okay, but I definitely don't plan on eating here more than once or twice a year. read more

It's unfortunate that xj o had such a poor experience with this Ledo's, but it must have been a very off day for them. I have never had anything but a great experience with this Ledo's. This Ledo's is located in Travliah square, which is at the corner of Darnestown road and Travliah Rd. In that square is Michael's Noodles, Brooklyn's Deli, Gui Lin Restaurant, and Bikram Yoga. If you're driving up 28, you'll be able to find it by looking for Burger King, which is also in that square. You will get the best experience if you call your order ahead for pick-up or dine in. I've been here as recently as October and I visit this location a few times a year. Regarding the service, I've found it to be good. I usually dine in with a friend and split a large one-topping pizza. Ledo's is one of those places I go to be a fatty. Anywho, the wait staff is young, many of them seemingly still in high school, but they're quick and friendly. I've also ordered take-out from this location a few times. The typical procedure for that is to call in your order, and it will be ready in between 15-20 minutes. There is occasionally a short line for pick-up. Fridays(family pizza night) and Sundays(football) in particular seem to be busier than other days, but I have never seen a line longer than 4 or 5 customers waiting to pick up. If you haven't had Ledo's pizza, its definitely worth a try. Ledos pizzas are thin crust and rectangular with the slices cut into squares. The crust is slightly flaky, almost like a pastry crust, with a satisfying amount of crunch. The pizza sauce uses fresh tomatoes and is slightly sweeter than normal pizza sauces. They put a fair amount of cheese on their pizzas. Normal assortment of toppings, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, mushrooms, onions, etc. One of my favorite pizzas, but they are quite greasy though, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. One of my friends absolutely hates Ledo's pizza. In addition to pizza, Ledo's has other greaser and italian fare, pasta, sandwiches, wings, chicken tenders. Service here is pretty lousy. One in my party asked for blue cheese and house dressing on the side of her salad. When she asked what the house dressing was like, he didn't know. Oh. But it was decided there would be two dressings on the side. The salad came out dressed. When this was brought up, what was the answer? "Oh, I forgot." How did you forget? We were your only table and you discussed the dressings briefly. All of the plates came out separately. I'm not so sure this was just him, though. All beverages went dry with no attempt to refill. An all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks was ordered. Never was it asked if they'd like more of anything. We had to ask all of this. I'd almost understand if it were busy, but as I said, we were this kids only table. The place was empty except for us and one other party. All of our plates and glasses were empty and we had to ask for the check. "Oh, you're done?" ... The food itself was ok. I hardly believe I'm leaving 4 stars for any Ledo's! So my previous experiences of other locations were all pizza carry-out for lunches at work. These experiences never sat well with me (if ya catch my drift), making me write off the chain. On this occasion I found myself in a predicament though where majority ruled... I avoided everything greasy and went for a spinach/arugula salad. For $8 I got a huge delicious salad topped with blue cheese, cranberries, & apples that was large enough for both dinner & lunch.
