Had an appt with Liz and she was amazing! I did a balayage, trim and Brazilian hair treatment. She was super gentle that I was falling asleep in the chair so mannnyy times I almost felt bad lol. Told me exactly what I need to do for the treatment and even offered to walk me out with an umbrella when I was done, if the weather got bad, when I initially got there. I made an appointment with Candice, who cuts the mens' hair at this salon. She was very welcoming and worked with me even though i had no clue what I was talking about or what i wanted. My first visit to Lee Graves Salon was today and I left with the exact hair color and cut I had hoped for!!!!!!

I booked an appointment here to have my hair colored after attempting to color at home. My appointment was for 1pm, but I waited until 1:55 to be taken back. During this time, I wasn't given any updates or told how much longer it would be. When the stylist finally took me back, she said "sorry bout the wait" in a way that indicated she really didn't care. After discussing what I wanted done, she and another stylist went to the back to discuss. They stood in the back and talked to the receptionist, who they sent to tell me there wouldn't be enough time for what I needed to have done. The receptionist was clearly upset and kept apologizing for how horribly they had chosen to handle this, and the fact that I waited an hour to be told they don't have time. Meanwhile, the stylists are standing in the back, watching. She asked if I wanted to reschedule, and I laughed and said absolutely not. She said "I don't blame you at all". After being there an hour and 15 minutes, I walked out. There are so many other better, more professional salons to choose from, with better prices. read more

I can't say enough great things about Lee Graves salon. I found them through a random connection almost one year ago & have been coming ever since. And I am not lying when I say I am the pickiest person when it comes to how my hair looks. But Kari is so talented and listens SO WELL. She actually understands what I want with my color and delivers every-time with exactly that. My husband said "wow I've never heard you say you love your hair right after an appointment" and he is so right. I've never been more OBSESSED with my hair. I also got the hand tied extensions and they blend so perfectly no one ever has any idea they are extensions. I went there and my "balayage" was a disaster. She didn't even use a brush except for a few foils which left foil marks. 2 stars because it did brighten up my face, but color should have been used and bricklayed and instead my hair was bleach-bathed to death and it made my a lot of my hair look like my grays. I have to wait a year or more for it to grow out and get cut off to be healthy enough to try balayage again. Staff are friendly and this is a very modern, well-equipped looking salon. read more
