Loved their Vietnamese coffee. I was excited to see that there was one next to the hotel I was staying. Had their coffee everyday I was in town. Inquired about their sandwich and appetizer platter for a celebration of life I was attending. I ordered an appetizer platter which consisted of chicken wings, pork & shrimp eggroll, and pate chaud. I got compliments about the food. The chicken wings were well seasoned even my uncle who is a chef loved it. The egg rolls were thick and tasty. My favorite, pate chaud, was so good. The only concern that I have is we all could not distinguish which was chicken or pork. I pre-ordered the platter and in the morning I asked if I could pick it up an hour early. They were able to do that! The place is clean and casual. There are seats inside and more on the side patio.

$8-9 banh mis $1.50 individual egg rolls (they only had 2 so I couldn't buy the 6 count) $7-8 smoothies $4 puff pastry Lee's in general has gone up and is not my first...or 2nd choice for banh mis anymore. (Plug: Carrots & Dikon #1 and Banh Mi Che Cali #2) I happened to go to Fed Ex next door and wanted a drink so I got a smoothie and some of their hot foods as a snack. Egg rolls were solid; crunchy, savory, meaty. The pork puff pastry was unappetizing. There were chunks of pork filler (veins, intestines (?)) that did not grind up and could not be chewed. Hard pass on ordering that ever again! I'm a fan of tripe but random meat filler is another thing. Service was ok. They were very pleasant but my smoothie had ice chunks and I had to get in line to order the drink because it was initially not rung up. I wasn't in a rush & business was slow, so it was only a mild inconvenience. Most people got their food/drinks to go. There's a few tables inside and it's clean. Plenty of parking .

Craving for banh mi and this was the nearest then going all the way to little Saigon....which I think I should. Lee's has been around for decades and they are not well known for their sandwiches, rather for their coffee and snacks...I haven't try their sandwich for a long long long time, so I thought would give it a try. This location is nice and warm since it's right in the corner of the plaza with their own outdoor seating area. The inside is nice & clean and bright place with glass door/windows surrounded. Nice & friendly worker (non Asian, which is a surprise), the lady is sweet and nice that when I was there I only see her and she did everything from reheat the breads, take orders, make foods & drinks, and pack its. As for the foods, I ordered the special lunch for $11.49 with soda, chip and a smaller sandwich of your choice (bbq pork). Alright, I the bread is dense and heavy, portion of meats & veggies are not even distributed from side to side (which it should be). The meat is just okey...but the pickles are nice and good. Would I try their sandwich again? Most likely not since plenty stores are WAY much better for the same price or cheaper (just have to have into the VNese territory). Must of the customer here are office workers and out of town visitors. But this is just my VNese point of view of one of my weekly must eat food. Great place, great service, just not the foods...that is all.

Pretty disappointed in this location. Went here to grab a quick sandwich before hitting the golf course and saw that at check out the system asked if I'd like to tip so I did 20% tip feeling as though service was mid but who cares it's fast food take out. What got me was when I had asked for an employe for a plastic cup and the guy said .50 cents each cup.

It's been a few months, so I'll throw another review up. It's Lee's - banh mi on the quick. The service is consistent, and there's some room for seating. The bread is always a bit hard, but that's a personal preference I suppose. They're on my way to and from work though, location location location. ;)

    Vietnamese iced coffee

Coffee had great taste but way too much ice three sips and it was gone. Went to go talk to employee about the situation and he stated he couldn't do anything about it because his manager was strict with the coffee amounts served. Like that's crazy paid $7 for a small cup of coffee and got 90% ice . They need to fix this

When I went, the lines were long. The customer service was decent. I was excited but was disappointed at how not fresh the pork in my sandwich tasted. It tasted old like I wanted to gag. The quality of Lee's Sandwiches must have gone down (since I first tried their sandwiches in the 2010s). I'm better off going to a local boba shop or another Vietnamese shop for banh mi.

This should be a roast beef and turkey with added extra paid for avocado. One half slice of each meat.

Horrible sandwiches. For a $14 dollar sandwich you all put a half a slice of meat on each side. Only a total of 1 meat slice. You should be embarrassed to be this cheap with the quantity of meat. I have never seen something so horrible. It's all bread and lettuce and I added and paid more for an avocado and it has one little slice. Is this a joke ? I will never spend any more here ever again. Buyer check your sandwich before you leave. Sad

the service was good. I have been eating here since Ryan was the owner and still coming for breakfast. Hope i will get the quality as high as it used to be. First time ever had an irregular meals like today. Hope will get feed back to come back and see the improvement. Love the stores and employees here.

    The nuggets
    Jimz F.

Ordered here yesterday for lunch because I wanted a sandwich and had a couple for some nuggets. Food was delivered fast and nuggets still hot. Got to say first off the nuggets are some of the best I have ever had and I would say if you like McDonald's nuggets it makes them taste bad. The turkey sandwich, not sure if the bread always tastes like it's one day old and hard they put 4 times the lettuce to turkey ratio. It looked like two slices of Turkey and the American cheese was thicker than the turkey completely overpowering it. The bacon was definitely overcooked but I can look over that one. Definitely try at your own risk. If you like a harder bread it might be up your alley.

It's the kind of spot I'd gladly bring more of my basketball guys to because it's the perfect place to fuel up with a well-balanced meal before or after a game, practice, or any kind of basketball activity. I've never always been the biggest sandwich person, but honestly, Board and Brew changed that for me. Now I realize I just hadn't found the right sandwich spot yet. The flavors here are so good, so satisfying, and so memorable that it completely changed my perspective. They have a lot of other chicken items as well, such,as chicken sandwhich, dirty fries and other offerings. The food does come out really quick. It is somewhat expensive. We got 4 tenders. Crunchy outside. Meat inside was borderline dry. I do love the sauce they have on top as well as the dips. The toast was very buttery. It was good. It just came to my attention while writing this review, they had another location in Upland, which is currently closed, but it seemed to be a little better in Upland then here in Cypresd

TOGO'S recently revamped their rewards program so that whenever you accumulate 50 points, you earn…read morea $5 off reward. Points round up if the subtotal ends in a half dollar or more. As part of this revamping process, TOGO'S migrated their rewards system to a different platform, and if you successfully migrated your account over, you get a $2 off reward that is valid for 2 weeks. My $2 off reward was going to expire in 2 days, and I was planning a quick trip to the area to visit a couple other businesses in the same intersection, both of which had offers that were going to expire the same day or the following day as well. I normally wouldn't go this far for a TOGO, but was definitely willing to make an exception this time around. This TOGO'S in Cypress is located on the southwest corner of Katella and Knott. The dining space inside is quite ample, much larger than the Long Beach location I must say! There was a large family sitting in the far corner on the left hand side, but towards the right, there was an employee, Logan, who was ready to assist me. As I was looking at the menu, I didn't like how the menu was kind of scrambled around. What do I mean by this? So I was intending to get a mini 3" sandwich to redeem my $2 off since percentage wise, that'd be really good savings there. The right side of the menu specifies the sandwiches that can be made miniature, but the sandwiches are denoted by their assigned numbers. The numbered sandwiches aren't in any particular order, so without Logan's help, I would have had to bounce back and forth between different sides of the menu to understand which sandwiches come in a 3" size, and for how much? Such a cumbersome way to present that part of the menu that I really wish TOGO'S would consider reformatting the menu for ease of readability. But I'm starting to digress. Logan did help me out by specifying the four mini sandwiches that I was initially looking at. I thought about the #3 Turkey and Cheddar, but once he told me the #20 was Albacore Tuna, I decided to go with that. Tuna sandwich for less than $4? Count me in! Logan asked me a couple questions: What type of bread, and would I like all the produce? Since I'm trying to get more whole grains and vegetables in my diet, I said whole wheat and yes, respectively, to his questions. However, Logan was trying pretty hard to sell me on a kids meal, which also comes with chips and a bottled water, despite me not being a kid, except maybe at heart lol. I did ask him how much a Kids Meal was, and he had to go to the register to look it up. It was a couple dollars more than a mini Albacore Tuna sandwich, but since I was planning to get food at a neighboring eatery, I passed on the kids meal and settled for the mini sandwich. While Logan was crafting my sandwich, he asked his co-worker, or maybe supervisor, Brian, to ring me up. After scanning my QR code for the migration offer, the $2 came off, no problem, and I paid. Shortly after I paid, Logan had my sandwich ready in a takeout bag. I asked for a water cup, and he gave me one, no problem as well. I took the sandwich and water cup to a table by the window to enjoy, but the first thing I noticed was a small piece of bread stuck to the outside of the wrapper?! Well, not so great presentation up front, but after unwrapping the sandwich, I found the #20 Albacore Tuna to be quite good! Unfortunately, it seemed Logan missed a few of the vegetables like the olives, jalapenos, and the cucumbers, which you can request in the TOGO'S app. Kind of disappointing, especially since he asked if I'd like all the vegetables before crafting my sandwich, but I suppose for those three in particular, you have to proactively ask? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the tuna in this sandwich, and there was still a good helping of vegetables in the sandwich otherwise. However, $5.75 for a mini is still kind of steep for such a small, but mighty, sandwich. Like I said earlier in the review, there are plenty of tables for customers to sit at, so unless an entire baseball team and their parents are there to celebrate a big W on the field, I doubt you'd see a full house in this TOGO'S. Overall, TOGO'S is still a good solid spot for sandwiches even if they're a little pricier than Jersey Mike's or Subway, but they do stuff the sandos with good quality ingredients! Also, despite the hard, but rather unsuccessful selling job, Logan was still a pretty cool employee to do business with.
