I work really close to this location, so I use to go here frequently. However, I have refused to come here since they gave me a disgusting sandwich. I had ordered a chicken sandwich and received a sandwich with chicken and some mysterious meat that was horrid. The person who prepared the sandwiches must have messed up on the previous sandwich, was too cheap to throw away that bread and grab a new one. So they thought they could just reuse the bread and I wouldn't notice the smeared meat under my chicken. The manager offered me a replacement sandwich, but that meat was so gross, I have not returned in a year and a half. I would usually be fine with a replacement, but that was unacceptable. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and look at things based on cost, efficiency of the staff, balanced flavor profile (not too salty, not too sweet, not too much a certain direction) and the space being utilized. Best Lee's I have ever been to. Why? Aren't they all the same? I guess not. Not sure why the food here was so much better, but it definitely was!! We also got an avocado smoothie (wha??!! what?!?!). Yes, not something I would have picked on my own, but delicious and filling. I think it was $4 or $5 and could have totally been a meal on it's own. My kids also got the European (?) sandwiches which was perfect for their non-spicy-loving tongues. :) Outdoor patio has concrete tables and benches with attached umbrellas but you will need to clean the table yourself. How does it take 20 minutes to make a cup of coffee where all you do is pour a premixed concentrate over ice? Ive been here 3 times now. First time when they first opened. It was fast and friendly. 2nd and third time I waited way too long. This morning someone came in after me (after I already ordered and paid) and got their coffee before I did. I also ordered just that...coffee. I ordered two larges, received 1 large 1 small. I mentioned it but the girl just said sorry (Im assuming for taking forever) and then walked away. I didnt have time to wait any longer as I had to be to work. Usually any Lee's I go is spot on; you order, service is quick and efficient, your number gets called out on the mechanized system, and end of story. First if you don't have chicken readily available for your number 4 combo (which I believe is their most requested banh mi) out of courtesy, please let us know in advance instead of having us wait 20 mins and finally have someone come out to tell us it'll be another 20 minutes since you are out and need to cook another batch. Ok, so I know my "Banh Mi" very well and I wasn't expecting the top of the line quality place since this is a franchised eatery. But I was hungry and it was near work. This is about the fourth time I have given this place a try hoping they would improve. Each time I would try to order a different type of sandwiches trying to find one that they succeed at. Yesterday I ordered the meat balls Banh Mi with extra pickles of carrots and daikon. All I got was bread, extra pickles of carrots and daikon and what looks like a few (3) thinly sliced meat sausages! It had no taste and it was chewy. I couldn't go back to ask for my money back or exchanged it since I was already heading back to the office. Don't think I'm going to give this place any more tries. Yesterday, Wednesday, at 11am I went to buy sandwiches and baguettes and there were no baguettes to buy or even baguettes to make the sandwiches. I don't understand how it is possible that this restaurant sells everything with baguette bread and keep in mind that there were no customers here so I can't understand how they had no bread. The wait time was 30 minutes and I was running on a really busy work schedule and taking lunch to my coworkers and everyone was waiting on the sandwiches.
