Loved their Vietnamese coffee. I was excited to see that there was one next to the hotel I was staying. Had their coffee everyday I was in town. Inquired about their sandwich and appetizer platter for a celebration of life I was attending. I ordered an appetizer platter which consisted of chicken wings, pork & shrimp eggroll, and pate chaud. I got compliments about the food. The chicken wings were well seasoned even my uncle who is a chef loved it. The egg rolls were thick and tasty. My favorite, pate chaud, was so good. The only concern that I have is we all could not distinguish which was chicken or pork. I pre-ordered the platter and in the morning I asked if I could pick it up an hour early. They were able to do that! The place is clean and casual. There are seats inside and more on the side patio.

$8-9 banh mis $1.50 individual egg rolls (they only had 2 so I couldn't buy the 6 count) $7-8 smoothies $4 puff pastry Lee's in general has gone up and is not my first...or 2nd choice for banh mis anymore. (Plug: Carrots & Dikon #1 and Banh Mi Che Cali #2) I happened to go to Fed Ex next door and wanted a drink so I got a smoothie and some of their hot foods as a snack. Egg rolls were solid; crunchy, savory, meaty. The pork puff pastry was unappetizing. There were chunks of pork filler (veins, intestines (?)) that did not grind up and could not be chewed. Hard pass on ordering that ever again! I'm a fan of tripe but random meat filler is another thing. Service was ok. They were very pleasant but my smoothie had ice chunks and I had to get in line to order the drink because it was initially not rung up. I wasn't in a rush & business was slow, so it was only a mild inconvenience. Most people got their food/drinks to go. There's a few tables inside and it's clean. Plenty of parking .

Craving for banh mi and this was the nearest then going all the way to little Saigon....which I think I should. Lee's has been around for decades and they are not well known for their sandwiches, rather for their coffee and snacks...I haven't try their sandwich for a long long long time, so I thought would give it a try. This location is nice and warm since it's right in the corner of the plaza with their own outdoor seating area. The inside is nice & clean and bright place with glass door/windows surrounded. Nice & friendly worker (non Asian, which is a surprise), the lady is sweet and nice that when I was there I only see her and she did everything from reheat the breads, take orders, make foods & drinks, and pack its. As for the foods, I ordered the special lunch for $11.49 with soda, chip and a smaller sandwich of your choice (bbq pork). Alright, I the bread is dense and heavy, portion of meats & veggies are not even distributed from side to side (which it should be). The meat is just okey...but the pickles are nice and good. Would I try their sandwich again? Most likely not since plenty stores are WAY much better for the same price or cheaper (just have to have into the VNese territory). Must of the customer here are office workers and out of town visitors. But this is just my VNese point of view of one of my weekly must eat food. Great place, great service, just not the foods...that is all.

Pretty disappointed in this location. Went here to grab a quick sandwich before hitting the golf course and saw that at check out the system asked if I'd like to tip so I did 20% tip feeling as though service was mid but who cares it's fast food take out. What got me was when I had asked for an employe for a plastic cup and the guy said .50 cents each cup.

    Vietnamese iced coffee

Coffee had great taste but way too much ice three sips and it was gone. Went to go talk to employee about the situation and he stated he couldn't do anything about it because his manager was strict with the coffee amounts served. Like that's crazy paid $7 for a small cup of coffee and got 90% ice . They need to fix this

It's been a few months, so I'll throw another review up. It's Lee's - banh mi on the quick. The service is consistent, and there's some room for seating. The bread is always a bit hard, but that's a personal preference I suppose. They're on my way to and from work though, location location location. ;)

When I went, the lines were long. The customer service was decent. I was excited but was disappointed at how not fresh the pork in my sandwich tasted. It tasted old like I wanted to gag. The quality of Lee's Sandwiches must have gone down (since I first tried their sandwiches in the 2010s). I'm better off going to a local boba shop or another Vietnamese shop for banh mi.

This should be a roast beef and turkey with added extra paid for avocado. One half slice of each meat.

Horrible sandwiches. For a $14 dollar sandwich you all put a half a slice of meat on each side. Only a total of 1 meat slice. You should be embarrassed to be this cheap with the quantity of meat. I have never seen something so horrible. It's all bread and lettuce and I added and paid more for an avocado and it has one little slice. Is this a joke ? I will never spend any more here ever again. Buyer check your sandwich before you leave. Sad

the service was good. I have been eating here since Ryan was the owner and still coming for breakfast. Hope i will get the quality as high as it used to be. First time ever had an irregular meals like today. Hope will get feed back to come back and see the improvement. Love the stores and employees here.

    The nuggets

Ordered here yesterday for lunch because I wanted a sandwich and had a couple for some nuggets. Food was delivered fast and nuggets still hot. Got to say first off the nuggets are some of the best I have ever had and I would say if you like McDonald's nuggets it makes them taste bad. The turkey sandwich, not sure if the bread always tastes like it's one day old and hard they put 4 times the lettuce to turkey ratio. It looked like two slices of Turkey and the American cheese was thicker than the turkey completely overpowering it. The bacon was definitely overcooked but I can look over that one. Definitely try at your own risk. If you like a harder bread it might be up your alley.

Most days I work from home thanks to COVID. This is one of the spots Grub Hub offers free delivery from. I've done pick up and delivery with zero issues. I prefer ordering online so I can make changes to my order myself. Sandwiches are good. That is if you know how to order. I usually get the Mister #11 with extra meat and extra Pate and he likes it. Without the extra meat chances are you will not be satisfied. My go to is the Salami and cheese Crossiant or the Teriyaki chicken with bacon and swiss cheese. Iced Vanilla coffee is the Golden Ticket. Packed with way too much ice. I usually throw the cups into my freezer for later and add my own iced coffee. Located off Valley View and Cerritos in Cypress. Friendly people and parking is okay.

Everyone waiting for their order . :(

I was worried the pandan flavor was going to be mid and subtle, but each bite had a great pandan flavor. I had a bit of a drive back to my hotel, so I was advised to order mine frozen. I'm glad I took the staff member's advice because by the time I got to my hotel and finished dinner, it had thawed out perfectly. It was still cold-ish, room temp in the best way possible. SERVICE: 9/10 Great customer service! Upon arrival, the staff member who helped me was very nice. I was indecisive about what to order, so I really appreciated that she gave me a rundown and some suggestions on their most popular dishes. Most importantly, I appreciated her concern about my dessert melting by the time I got back to my hotel. If it wasn't for her and her advice to order the dessert frozen, I wouldn't have known and probably would've ended up with a deconstructed dessert. The way she packaged my dessert was also very helpful and considerate. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Definitely a cute place, and I can see this being a great go-to spot for groups. I loved how the back seating area had so many Polaroids plastered all over the walls. There are different types of seating depending on what you're in the mood for, and each seating area has a different vibe. There's also plenty of outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the weather while having your dessert!

Their signature coffee is just ridiculous...in the best possible way. Creamy, perfectly balanced, topped with cinnamon, and thick enough to feel indulgent without being over the top. Quality, consistency, authenticity, and customer service are all superior there. We were so excited as a family to stumble upon this location. They have a drive thru, but the interior is so beautiful we decided to sit inside. It was about an hour before closing, so it was nice and empty. My app is full of (No Ice Fill Up- No Sweet Adjust) orders, but this visit was quite perplexing. I have a pretty good idea of what to expect/ what I paid for, but the cashier continued to break down the drink into milliliters explaining why my cup was not filled. Thanks to John P I now know how many milliliters of whole milk, coffee, sweetener, and ice are needed to make up a drink with no ice, and how many are needed for the one with no ice. I explained that this has been my order for over two years, he continued to explain the measurements and I requested a refund. John P threw the drinks down the drain right before closing time instead of offering them to me. With the shop being empty, I would have expected John to just splash the missing little bit of coffee into the drinks, but he chose to have a debate. Not a great experience at this location. All in all the location is beautiful and it's great that they have a drive through but spend the extra time and go to the OG in Westminster. You get what you pay for and don't get the attitude. The screenshot to show my order is always with No Ice Fill Up. Edit: The customer service team is amazing, they reached out quickly and made sure my concern was addressed. Raised my review of this location from a 1 to a 4 star review because of this. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

Let me tell you of the tastiest coffee that rivals Starbucks... and I still got ample sleep! I got their marble drip coffee. I ordered mine with "50% sweetness and less caffeine." The moment it flowed through the straw and hit my tongue, it was the smoothest, creamiest most tasty coffee I ever had. Perfect amount of sweetness and a kick of caffeine, I was so amazed!! Their customer service here is nice and polite at the counter but that's pretty much it. They have a touch screen kiosk to also order on the side. When I came, there were 4 people ahead of me but the wait time wasn't that long thanks to the above things. I would definitely come here again. I would never guess to give a Vietnamese coffee establishment the highest rating on yelp considering my caffeine sensitivity but this is it!

Da Vien NEVER disappoints! It's probably my favorite matcha spot. It's always consistent and very…read morerefreshing. I love and recommend the banana matcha latte or the coconut matcha!
