If you only go for one thing, GET THE PASTALYA! it is absolutely delicious. Mac and cheese is a let down for a southern restaurant. Their specials are always delicious, but they usually are out when we go which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Staff seems to be passionate about their food and that's another reason we continue to support this local business! This is without a doubt the best restaurant in all of Dallas, Hiram, PAULDING COUNTY. My son and I ate here for the first time today and have found our favorite restaurant. The staff is super nice and very professional. The food is incredible. Great prices, hot fresh food, very tasty. Being from Louisiana, I know Cajun food, and this is the best you're gonna get! The portion sizes are very large. My 14 yr old son and I have enough leftovers for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow, without question. Love love love this place. Their Louisiana crab spice wings taste like my mother made them. Perfectly fried with an excellent flavor. The Pastalaya was also hardy and had no shortage of meat in it so that shouldn't be a complaint for anybody. The establishment itself is extremely clean and the customer service is excellent. Both ladies that I dealt with on the staff were more than accommodating and know how to treat customers. I left not wanting anything other than more food. A friend brought us the Cajun Pasta to Norcross. It was so good. Tons of seafood, great sized and a huge portion. Could not believe it was packaged for over an hour and tasted so good. Omg I am from New Orleans this place is home! I had the shrimp po boy dressed with ketchup and hot sauce and it was soooooooo good! They had the real French bread toasted with butter just like home! And they did not hold back on the shrimp, it was fully loaded! I also ordered a gumbo it tastes good too. I will leave you with this, I moved to Douglasville and had to search surrounding cities to find good food--found this best kept secret in Dallas Ga about 8 miles away. Folks it's in a service station and I got seafood platter catfish collards yes collards at the service station and potato salad that took me back to Thanksgiving at home when I was 12 years old. I can't figure out why they don't have a restaurant. Fish was so fresh it flaked, shrimp large delicately fried, I could go on and on. I've yet to write as much on a review to date. Very very very bland...fish batter is thick and crumbled, pasta is jar tasting, the chicken in it is thick and the shrimp are very small. Fried shrimp were soggy and unflavored as well. Salad was not fresh and the dressing was even tasteless. Spent over $65 and it wasn't worth $10. I'm a cook myself so that may influence my opinion on quality food.
