I only get tofu here. Their meat plates are on the low side for meat, the mound of onions would probably be more filling. I love the stone pot rice because rice just tastes better that way. The side dishes are okay, I've had better in Cerritos. Tofu itself is like 8 bucks and the combo is 12 or 13. The meat itself is like 12 bucks too. I got the mushroom and kalbi combo, spicy. It definitely made me grab my napkin more than a few times. Taste was fair and I was full at the end, but I could not give it 4 stars because it just wasn't special. I had the meal to-go and ate it at work. I come here when I'm craving soon dubu on a Sunday since my other spots are closed on that day. I like that you have more of an option as to how spicy you want your soon dubu. I also like the rice that they serve in the hot pots. It burns the rice a little and gives it that yummy crunchiness. Prices are good and the service is friendly. read more

My go to Gardena tofu house. Super quick. Awesome sides. If you are looking for a fancy frills dinner this is not your place. The soup is tasty though and considering it's very close and decent priced you can't go wrong. Of course it's in Tozai Plaza which is a pain for parking but what can you do. Great soon dubu!! The banchan here is pretty decent here as well despite the limited selection. The combo of soon dubu and the short ribs for about $15 is a pretty good deal along with the ban chan. The service is quick, they refill your ban chan once the dishes start to look depleted. MmmMM, soondubu here is yummy. This is my go to spot simply because it's closer that Cho Dang. I prefer Cho Dang, but when I'm in need of some soondubu, Lee's knows how to take care of me. I usually go with the kimchi soon, SPICY. I love to eat this on cold days, and it just seems to warm me up from the inside. But eating this on hot days is satisfying too because I work up a sweat. Gross, I know but sit in front of the AC machine and you're good to go. I love the ladies here, they crack me up even if I don't understand Korean. They're super sweet to and bring out the salad and banchan so quickly. My dad usually orders the kalbi and I think it's marinated nicely and is tender. Loved the way that they serve your rice in a hot pot....steaming tofu soup...and sizzling platter of meat. Full of flavor! This is my "go to" tofu soup spot. This place is very similar to BCD tofu with the same style. The soon tofu is pretty delish even the sizzling platters. I usually get their bbq chicken on sizzling platter with the soon tofu. Good variety of soon tofu. I haven't tried it all but majority are delish and flavorful. The spicy is that good type of spicy where its just right. It's a really small place but I never had to wait compared to BCD tofu which can be 30+ min wait depending if its on a weekend. The workers are really nice and served me well. Didn't have to wait long at all for my food & the small little appetizers including the salad satisfied me. I definitely recommend this place if you're craving tofu soup and don't want to wait compared to BCD. read more

I hesitate rating this place 5 stars, being a relative Korean-food newbie (less than 5 years experience). However, I love this restaurant and I've been to some of the best known soon tofu places in Koreatown. The fact that its in Gardena, my hometown, gives it major bonus points. But, I still think its majorly good. The panchan and the service are excellent. And, I love the hot stone rice that gives you the added bonus of crunchy goma. Went with a colleague for lunch and liked that the prices are VERY reasonable and I promise you won't leave hungry. I ordered the veggie with Tofu and the all the side dishes were yummy. As for the tofu, I have tried many places and this place was one of the better ones that I have. This restaurant can seem hidden but make sure you go either after the business lunch rush, or right before. And for the spicy-ness, I ordered the medium and for me, was pretty spicy. read more

I love this place. I always order vegetable tofu, medium spicy (water based so it's vegetarian). But the best thing is the spicy pickled cucumbers; I could eat those as a meal by themselves. The prices are great too. All their soon tofu is only $8.88. read more

I've always love coming here. Their soon tofu is yum and their banchan is great as well. I'm not a big fan of their spicy pork bulgogi but their korean beef ribs under their "Specials" is definitely on the top of my list of things to eat. read more

Definitely not the best soon tofu restaurant in town but it's a decent option on a cold night especially when the surrounding restaurants like the dumpling house and boiling point are crowded with people waiting in line. Prompt service, sufficient banchans and a bit overpriced. To my surprise, the real star of my meal was the side order of dumplings. We're talking about six giant pan fried dumplings here. I first tried this place when my roommate recommended we grab some Korean food. We both ordered our own combos (a little over $15/person). They provide the usual side dishes which were pretty good. I didn't like the dried fish side dish in particular and neither did my roommate. Our main dishes were good. The tofu soup was yummy (I ordered it spicy and it was milder than I expected but oh well) as was the BBQ pork. I always leave feeling stuffed and with a small container of leftovers. Service was also pretty good. Parking has never been an issue either. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a tofu fix. read more

My go-to korean food place. Something about having soon tofu especially in colder nights makes you feel so warm inside. I love the side dishes they have for you while you're waiting to order. Always go for mild, spicy or extra spicy when ordering the korean tofu soup because it tastes so plain without any "spice" and it's not even as spicy as it sounds. Love this place for a change from the norm drab daily routine. The appetizer dishes are a nice start and then the deliciously scary BOILING hot tofu comes out ...the little iron kettles of rice with a crispy bottom is so delicious when soaked with tofu!
