I recently purchased a Range Rover from Legend Auto. I had a wonderful experience with test driving cars from small two seaters to the big SUV's. Nick was very patient with me, I went to the dealership quite often because I truly did not know what type of car I wanted. Finally I chose the Range Rover. Every aspect of my looking to deciding to purchasing went very well and I can honestly say that I would recommend Legend Auto. In fact, we bought a used 1997 BMW about eight years ago from Legend and that car is still running beautifully. I am very happy with my RR and for the service and attention I received. I had to put my own gas after i baught my car getting of the lot! They said the "owner" doesnt allow them to fill the tank. Yet they didnt tell me this until after i signed the finance contract smh! Its been 6 months and im still waiting on promised repairs that "Jason" put on the contract to fix before i baught the car. Do Yourself a favor and do not buy your vehicles here! On 04-11-13 at about 5pm, my wife and I went to legend auto looking for a Lexus SUV. Shortly after we arrived, we were greeted by a salesman. The salesman sounded like he knew everything about cars and knew what to say. He appeared that he loved his job and he was very charismatic. He showed us a Lexus and told us that the Lexus would be available in a couple of days. My wife asked the salesman the price of the vehicle and he said, "Upper teens." ($18,000-$19000). On 04-13-13 at about 1pm, we returned to Legend auto to possibly purchase the vehicle. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the same salesman. My wife and I immediately noticed that the car was on the lot, but it was not displaying a price on the window like most of the other vehicles. The salesman was hesitant to tell use the price until he spoke to us for several minutes trying to convince us to buy the vehicle. He eventually told us the price of the vehicle was $24,000, higher than initially. On day 1 he initially told us "Upper teens." ($18,000-$19,000). I believed the salesman new that we were fixated on the Lexus and had returned with the intent to buy. Therefore, he possibly raised the price hoping that we would spend without thinking. We decided not to buy the vehicle due to his dishonesty. As we were leaving the lot, he appeared to be upset and he said, "You can find a cheaper Lexus. I recently purchased a beautiful 2014 Mustang from Luis Villa down at Legend Auto. Not only was his customer service a 10/10 but he was one of the nicest salesmen I have ever worked with. I got my car for a great price, within my budget without having to haggle back and forth. The owner, Amir, was very kind and friendly. He answered any questions I had about the vehicle and was very patient with me. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable as I did in my previous car buying experience at another dealership. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP AND THERE OTHER DEALERSHIP TRUCK DEPOT!!!!! I bought a truck from them about a month ago .. I drove from Inland empire to Sacramento to pick up the truck that's an 8 and a half hour drive one way.... I get to the dealership and find the truck has a missing shock, bad leak from the pinion seal , driver side step motor was bad , passenger side mirror was not working , amongst other small issues. They took money off for me to get issues resolved . Well on my way home not even 10 miles down the road the check engine comes on, there is a vibration at 72 miles an hour . Come to find out that next week when I took it in the carrier bearing was shot , the drive shaft was to short for the lift that was on the truck by 4 inches , the truck had no tire pressure sensors in it , the pinion seal was completely destroyed and leaking rear ended fluid everywhere, rear break line had a slight leak but couldn't see it from the oil from the rear end the list goes on and on ! Long story short and about 3grand later the truck is finally fixed and drive able ! I call the dealership and disclose on top of the money they took off for the repairs it cost me another 2 grand , well they said sorry truck was sold as it and we won't help with the bill.... AND TO TOP IT OFF I PAID A LICENSING FEE TO THE DEALER IN MY PAPER WORK AND 3 weeks after having the truck I get a letter from the dmv that my reg is due in 2 months! I called them about that and he said well the reg was $800 and something I said ok that's not my problem the truck had back dated tags I paid for the reg to be current.. they say they "will" take care of if it but I'm sure this will be put on me as well since this dealership apparently doesn't know how to properly inspect there vehicles and fix any MAJOR issues. You would think when you spend OVER 30,000 dollars and drive over 900 miles round trip the service would be better . I am HIGHLY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED With how these people conduct business . You all have been warned do not waste ur time here at this dealership ! read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Bought a Cadillac esv, was told the navi needed to be unlocked but only Cadillac could do it. They wrote due bill promising to pay back what I had to pay. Took it to Cadillac to 2 days later and fo it had a navi that needed to be completely replace, bad transmission, and wrong size wheels that weren't safe. Called legend and was told I needed to bring it back for them to take to Cadillac because Walnut Creek Cadillac was lying. I had to pay to tow it back to them since it wasn't ok to drive. Got there, they had the car for 5 weeks and a written legal due bill saying it had to be fixed or replaced. I had to call them daily to find out the status of the car. Finally after 5 weeks and them telling me numerous times only a few more days they told me it's not going to get fixed and I should call and try and cancel my loan and they would give me my trade in back. This place is such a waste of time and money. Monkeys could run a business better and be more honest!! Also they don't inspect their vehicles at all!!! The manager Sam told me they only have them checked if they feel something is wrong when they test drive it one time!!! They had no concern about anyone's safety just getting another car sold! This place should be shut down and I've already filed a complaint with consumer affairs to investigate their business! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

My sister and I drove 2 hours from home to look at a camaro at this location and I was greeted by an Iranian gentleman who said he was the owner of the dealership. After he told us the car was valued over 24,000 dollars I told my sister the car was overpriced and she should consider another vehicle. The man proceeds to tell us in a passive aggressive tone that we can leave if we think the car is overpriced. Odd but okay since he apologized for it a while later. He then made some unnecessary chauvinistic comment about our occupation because in his opinion we didn't look like business owners but party promoters. Odd but we let this go to. During the test drive is when the unthinkable happened. While test driving the car I told my sister and him the alignment wasn't up to par in which his response was its the road not the car. When I disagreed with this logic he told me that by not believing him I was implying that he was a liar and his dealership was into lying to customers. Seriously, he wanted me to spend $25,000 based on trusting a dealership. When I told him that I'm not concerned about him being a liar BC I'm not purchasing him I just wanna make sure I'm buying a good car he yelled at me and threatened me again to take my business elsewhere. This is when things took an un-imaginable ugly turn when he demanded me to get out of the driving seat bc our test drive was over. I couldn't contain my shock when I pointed out to him thst he was absurd he pulled over the side of the busy street and told us to get out. Now I've been to dealerships many times and purchased over 3 vehicles in the course of my life, I know proper etiquette and I also realize that purchasing a car is a process and a dance bn a client and a salesman but this chauvinistic asshole took the discussion about the car personal or thought since we were women we shouldn't be questioning him about the quality of the car. Anyway we threatened we'd call the police If he left us on the side of the road with no way to get back to our vehicle. When we got back to the dealership he told us to come inside the office bc I guess he felt remorseful for his action but we left feeling appalled. Im telling you...listen to what these bad reviews are saying. Some people may get lucky and get a vehicle that works fine but if you get one with problems this dealership does bare minimum to get it fix and to get you off there lot with your money and on to the next. They have very, I mean very poor communication skills from top to bottom. Dont be another prey for these people. All they want is your money. I bought a truck and they say they do a full inspection but the emergency brake wasnt working! Really! You do a full inspection and miss the emergency brake. Still isnt fixed till this day. I would bet they have unlicensed mechanics who have there hands tied behind there backs on what to fix and not to fix. DONT BUY A CAR HERE. THESE ARE NOT TRUE BUSSINESS PROFESSIONALS. I Bought a luxury car from here with some concerns form the gate but was promised that the car was spotless and anything that wasn't right would be corrected next business day. Took them the car they've never fixed any of the issues still to this day , they are very cheap and sale cars and trucks with hidden issues that will cost you soon after driving. I had my car for one I repeat one day and then it broke completely down. The car has been in there possession ever since .they take short cuts just to get rid of you and have absolutely no communication skills . They provided me with a loaner car that had expired tags no gas and a bad alternator which broke down on me withing 30 minutes. All there cars are out of gas probably not registered and are cheap for a reason. This dealership has been nothing but headaches from day one I thought I was getting a deal but I am getting stress and it's costing me big time. My advice to you is DO NOT WALK THEIR LOT ...EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THE CAR YOU WANT THAT'S BETTER THAN PURCHASING A CAR FROM THESE GUYS WHO DO THE MINIMUM JUST TO SALE U A LEMON AND A THOUSAND LIES. read more

They'll tell you one price, then when you're ready to actually buy the car, all sorts of fees and reasons why they can't sell you the car at the agreed-on price starts to show up. "What, you want financing? Oh we're sorry, but that's going to add another one thousand dollars to the price." "What you want warranty? Sure, that'll only cost you two thousand more." So I purchased a car from these guys and it was shady from the start. I was even promised a tank of gas on purchase. When paperwork came around I was told they don't do that here even the salesman changed his story. So great salesman. Car was nothing but a problem for me, I could say many other things that happened at this dealership but the last but best was when I turned in my gap insurance after buying my new car from the Ford dealer in Folsom was that they tried to lie about not receiving my Gap cancellation check. The person was Sam in Financing. I've called him maybe 10 times in the last 3 months. He kept saying "it went to my bank" "the person was out of town that handles it" and excuse after excuse and 3 months go buy after the 6-8 week waiting period and I call my Bank Lender. They no nothing of this and happily get me connected with the Gap issuer. There Records showed that Legend Auto received my Gap Cancellation check and received it in March now it's the beginning of June. This dealership gave me the run around for 3 days. I had a pre-approived loan, money down all all the necessary documents to make this deal. The salesman, Victor, along with the finance guy, Jay, kept asking me if they could just finance the loan. I said no and they kept putting the sale it off. When I called they said they were waiting for my bank to call them back. When I called my bank, they said nobody from Legend Auto had ever called them. All Legend needed to do was call my bank with price, mileage, model and make of car and it was funded. At 8PM on the thrid day, I got a text from them telling me the bank would charge them $1500 to do this deal and good luck. My bank says they would never charge them a fee. Lies, lies, lies! I'm really surprised to see such low reviews for Legend Auto. Granted, I get it... there are a lot of iffy car dealerships and sales people at many of these. But, I really have to say this was one of the more enjoyable experiences we've had. We went in the evening, which I would never recommend to do, but my husband saw an ad for a vehicle and called to make sure it was still there. I was a bit anxious, to see this car, since my 15 year old Suburban was getting more and more unpredictable. They close at 7pm, and we arrive just minutes before that. When we got there, a very nice, young guy named Edwin greeted us. He could have seemed anxious, since we arrived close to closing, but instead he was super accommodating. The original car that we went there to look at (we drove it to a gas station to examine under the bright lights) turned out to need some work, and after a test drive on the freeway, we realized it wasn't that smooth of a ride with the huge wheels it had on it. There was a beautiful Denali up on the racks that I was interested in. The crew there made every effort to move all the surrounding cars aside so that we would be able to view the inside of the car on the ground. But, as they were doing that, my husband spotted a car that he knew I might like just as much, or even more, because of the exterior and interior color. They moved everything back and we took the 2009 GMC Yukon for a test drive. It's late ... they all would have been home by now... but no one was rushing us or complaining. I felt bad to keep them there after hours because I wasn't sure we would be actually purchasing anything. But, I LOVED this car and so we started the finance process. I have great credit so I knew there wouldn't be any issue with that. Earlier that morning, my husband mentioned donating my suburban instead of selling it. Turns out, Legend Auto let us trade it in ($2,000). I've always been told to get a used car checked out before purchasing it, but with a 2-day buyers remorse, we risked it. I thought I made a mistake when we got back to our home town, 40 minutes away, and the car wouldn't start up after getting gas. A nice man there tried to jump the car for us with no luck. We pushed it aside and called Uber to get us home since it was close to midnight. I was so sad thinking we got a lemon for a car. I text'd Edwin who was very responsive to my texts and felt so bad. The next morning a mechanic from their shop came to the car early! Turns out it wasn't the battery or anything else serious at all! It was the anti-theft car key that was the culprit! We tossed that key out and I went to GMC to get another one made. This car is so clean and beautiful. It might be 7 years old, but it looks and feels new to me! The original owners took such great care of it. I love all the amenities my other car didn't have. We may have lucked out buying such a great car but, I'm not sure we would have stuck around long enough to find it, had the staff there not been completely trustworthy and helpful. Well i bought a car from legend auto and was told the car has a perfect car fax and was one owner. I was like wow what a great car........wrong as soon as i had the car for acouple of weeks a noticed multiple problems. Ripped axle boot leaking transmission fluid and recently i found out that the car has been a accident and was covered up. Now the other day i go to open my hood and it is jammed......um indicative of the car being in a front end accident. Iv only had this car for about 4 months and i call the snake sales MANAGER fernando and tells me to basically go F my self but in a nice way. I ask can you make it right he answered no immediately! Save your self the hassel and dont get ripped of with there lies and cars that break down and with there hidden problems.
