I am typically not one to write reviews however, this happened to be the single worst business entity I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with - so here I am. I had been searching for a used car on autotrader and came across a vehicle I liked currently available at Legend Auto. The carfax were clean, but a lot of records were missing, so I decided to contact the dealer to investigate. The salesman who I was connected with, Kian was lovely. I explained to him what I was looking for and that despite having all the information I needed to get the records, given BMW's policy I would have to ask him to get them for me as they are the current owner of the vehicle, (which I confirmed, as Kian informed me that they had bought the vehicle at an auction, and it was not on consignment). Later that day, Kian called me back and apologetically explained that the vehicle must have been serviced by a private mechanic, and that BMW had no records. He also explained again how it was purchased at auction, and explained to me that they had the BMW dealer look over and certify it, and told me it was a fantastic deal - that the car was worth according to KBB $37,000 and that they were asking $34,000. I asked Kian to confirm this, as the price on their website had the vehicle listed for $37,900 -- over the KBB value. He said I was correct, but that because he had given me the price of $34,000 , he would be happy to honor this price if I was interested in the car. I was - so I called the local BMW dealer to schedule a pre-purchase inspection the next day. I received a call back, about an hour later, saying that they had to change the price and that they "called the owner" who said $37,000 was the best they could do. I explained to him that I had been quoted at $34,000 and willing to honor that on a recorded line, and that it was incredibly unprofessional to back out of a deal in such a way. I was then put on hold for a while - and had the pleasure of speaking to an incredibly aggressive gentleman (Fernando) who said he was the manager. He essentially said that lovely Kian was an idiot and told me that the owner wouldn't let the car go for that price. I explained that I had already been told that the car was bought at auction. He asked if he could call me back. At callback Fernando explained to me that they were into the car for $40,000 and that $37,900 was a great deal - to this I explained they had also told me the current KBB value according to one of their salesmen. -- I expressed that I felt it was incredibly unprofessional to back out of a deal in such a way, and that I would encourage them to honor their previous agreement. At this point the man became increasingly aggressive during our call, who told me to "not do something I would regret" and that he was "happy to go there." -- Again, I had already expressed that these were on a recorded line! At this point I had to step into a meeting so I told the man that I was no longer interested in doing business with their dealership, and all I requested was that they would call and cancel the pre-purchase inspection that I had scheduled with the local BMW dealer. At this point the man said that the best price he would be willing to give me as a sign of good faith was $36,900 as the vehicle had sat on their lot for over a year and they wanted to get it sold -- to which I said that I didn't want to spend over $35,000 and that they should just reach out and cancel the inspection. Two hours later, following my meeting I receive another call back from Fernando, double-checking that I wanted to cancel the inspection. Again, I told him that despite the original agreed price of $34,000 - I would be willing to go up to $35,000 and that was my maximum price. He responded by saying that he changed his mind, and that $37,200 was the best he could do -- to which I asked why he would increase from his own offer not 2 hours before, when he stated that he wanted the car sold... He told me that the car had been getting tons of interest after dropping the price to $37,900 and that he must have mis-spoke. Again, I said that I was not interested, and expressed my disappointment for how horribly the relationship was - given that I was ready to fly to this location to pick up the vehicle tomorrow. TLDR: Unprofessional dealership backtracks on an agreed price multiple times, then threatens me over phone while on a knowingly recorded line. I will of course, be forwarding this content to the BBB - as while I understand mistakes are made, if someone says they are willing to honor them that should be adhered to - and that it is never acceptable to threaten a customer for questioning these practices. -- To Kian, thanks for being a genuinely wonderful and honorable sales person. read more

I bought a Corvette and it had a heads up display I never realized existed, it never worked, but worse of all it scraped over everything it did not seem lowered, I took it in to a shop and the radiator bracket was broken long ago, a problem with corvettes if you enter driveways too fast at the wrong angle, It was obvious it was broken awhile as the radiator was being held up by super giant zip ties, 1 had broken then it started scraping, both of these took me a few months to realize. read more

So I purchased a Lexus GS350 F Sport from this place and traded my excellent condition Mercedes E350 for it thinking this will be a reliable car for many years to come. So after I left with the purchase because I went to look on my lunch and under pressure I pulled the trigger, and right away the brakes are squeaky and steering is shaking on the freeway as I did not test drive the car on freeway. I called the dealer to have them look at it and said it's fine and that they resurfaced the rotors and still after they were squeaking and got louder ! Like I'm not joking it's just squealing every where I go when I brake where people and people in there cars look like what's that !? So I just said okay I'll call them later as I been working a lot and the first time to get it in was a hassle also. So I call today and was pretty much told that it was bought As Is and they could only sent me a gift card for gas just because of the situation. And I only put 2500 miles in 2 months. And he said it's from all the wear and tear from 2500 miles ? Just super frustrating thinking you can trust a place and then they don't care as long as they made a sale. I will never recommend this dealer. I bought a BMW 535 and my last Mercedes E350 from Elegant Auto Sales with no problems and amazing customer service. Found a steal of a car! Made the purchase even though they wouldn't haggle with me. Should have left it alone. Bought a Volvo in "as is" condition which the manager insisted on multiple times. Car felt good at first then a light went out, then the suspension codes came on (within 2-24 hrs) then my window regulator blew, then my tires were toast, then a tail light, and finally the soundsystem stopped working. I understand buying a used car is never a sure thing. But at 10k miles after purchase its a negative trade in and has been an expensive hassle which still needs to be fixed. I feel like they should refund at least 2k of my purchase which is the cost of my struts. Even though I've spent hundreds more in my time and little fixes. I decided that it was time to get my first financed car, so I decided to head over to Fulton. I was driving around and I came across Legend Auto, I saw they had a great selection of cars so I decided to take a look. Edwin was the one that made contact with me and asked me if I needed any help. I told him what I was looking for as far as price and type of car, he showed me a few but then he showed me this new like cars and I liked the 2016 Corolla they had, but it was a bit too high for what I was looking for. And being that it was my first financed car I was not looking for something in that price range, so we talked for a bit and than I told him that I was going to go home and sleep on it. And that I would give him a call the following day to let him know that I wasn't going to get it or that I was going to show up to buy the car. Next thing you know I was at the dealership filling out the form to check my credit. It was a bit difficult to get approved because even though I had good credit it wasn't "established" and so they had to work a bit extra to get me approved but this guys are great they were able to get me approved and I was able to drive the car home that day. The next day I gave them a call to make sure they got my insurance information that I sent and Sam(one of the financial experts) answers the phone and tell me that he was able to get me a better interest rate and that I needed to come in to get my name on the new contract. This guys are great they could have easily said screw this guys he already got approved, but they shopped around and got me a better deal. Gotta Love that! I recommend this place if you are looking to get a car they are great at what they do. read more

I originally was going for a car next door to Legend auto but they said i had no credit when i know for a fact I did and they didnt know how to calculate my gross income and the guy was kinda rude. So at 10 pm the night before driving 3 hours to Sac I decided to check out Legend auto online and I found a 4runner with less miles, third row seating, newer, and it was completely souped up, aftermarket tires a sweet roof rack, nice mud tires, tinted windows, and even a safe! I didnt know if I would even get approved but i went ahead and submitted an application the night before online and the next day we drove down and we didnt know still if we were gonna get it, but we did qualify AND they even pushed to get us a lower interest rate! My sales rep (I think his name is Kian) he has the really pretty eyes, anyhow, he was seriously so sweet and genuine and it wasnt just about selling a car it was about making sure we were happy and comfortable and that showed when i got the lower interest rate, most places would just give you whatever as long as they get the car sold, but this place everyone was so nice and it felt really family oriented, my fiance even called the guy when we got home cause he was so happy with the service and his new vehicle for our family of 3 kids! He hates paperwork and how long it takes to do things but we were literally in and out of this place like we maybe spent an hour in there! It overall was the best car buying experience weve had! I found the perfect car with 110K miles for the price I thought was fair. No accidents, clear title, etc. They wouldn't give me a 72 hr return policy unless I paid $500. Purchased as is even though the carfax showed several "check engine" entries over last several months. Turns out it has a severe electronic issue that I'm certain they knew about. Reset codes and it's good for about 20 key cycles then it totally starts freaking out and needs to be towed. Its cost me over $1000 so far and not convinced its completely fixed yet. I don't feel these guys are honest, just trying to pass along a vehicle without first correcting a known issue. Shame on Legend Auto. Close the doors duche bags. read more

I saw a low mileage car listed on Craigslist and everything looked great in the pictures they posted. I live 2 hrs away so I asked them over the phone was there ANYTHING about the vehicle I should know about cosmetically. Just one very small dent the size of a dime he tells me, so I drive two hours in the rain to get there on my weekend. Immediately Upon arrival I see the Front skirting is bent and broken and I ask why they didn't tell me that when I asked...Their answer was its a low car its going to happen- But why withhold that information why I asked? they couldn't answer. So I look closer and find interior plastic behind drivers seat cracked and broken, tears in convertible top and oddly protruding springs in passenger seat. My point is they aren't honest, they play dumb, they mislead and have no qualms at letting a person drive for two hours to discover that they have misrepresented what they are advertising. All this found in 30 mins so who knows what else they were concealing if I kept digging. read more

A couple months ago I had bought my car here and the experience I had with the staff was terrible. when I went to go fist look at my car I wanted to test drive it so they pulled it out the spot and there was an oil spot and said it was from A past car so I didn't really question it that much because when I looked under the car I couldn't really see anything. When I was leaving they kept pushing to buy the car and that they would work with me. I had came back because I really like the outside condition of the car but the people were very rude to me the second time, there mood was totally change, and they didn't care about my time or my questions, I was A fist time buyer with no credit and was gonna have my boyfriend co-sign so they said they'd review the payer work. They left me and my boyfriend siting for an HOUR AT LEAST with no updates or letting me know how the paper work is going. They ended up saying that I was NOT able to put the Vehicle under my name and that my boyfriend had to because I had no credit, but I had 5,000 down (almost half) which after doing my research they had lied to me ! They could've put the vehicle in my name !!! So when we were signing the papers because I was just over it and I wanted to take the car home I had A few questions and the guy was totally rude and was raising his voice at me and my boyfriend. I do not think he should not be A sales men at all the way he spoke was totally unprofessional and was the worst experience I've have had. After A month of owning my car I had realized I did have an engine oil leak which is ridicules because this was the whole reason why I bought from A dealership. So....after months of searching for my desired car, I found a craigslist posting on a Lexus LS460, black on black, with most of the features I was looking for. Almost exact car shows up at Legend auto. After a phone call and confirmation on some details (plus asking my wife nicely) we went to check out the car. Doing a little homework ahead of time pays off, like running a VIN search and checking out car fax (which they provided) the car was really nice, as advertised. Met Luis on the lot and we went on a test drive. Prior to us coming to see the car, I noticed a factory recall that was not done and told them in advance i would not be buying the car with the open recall. Luis said they would take care of it, as they are right next door to Lexus of Sacramento. I showed my good faith in the car by letting Legend run my credit to make sure they knew I was serious. We left and they called me quickly to let me know they could finance me no money down, no problem. We returned and made the car deal. As I am current Lexus owner, I had a relationship with the service manager Mike Huddleson at the Lexus dealership. A quick phone call to him prior to Legend taking care of the recall insured a Lexus dealership looking the car over COMPLETELY. I got a phone call that I couldn't get to, from Mike at Lexus. By the time I checked my message, Legend had already picked up the car from Lexus of Sacramento. The message that was left for me was that the water pump was leaking and needed replacing. I was upset, for a moment, until I found out that the car was already in the shop getting the water pump replaced along with the radiator. The owner took it upon himself to make the car right. I was really pleased to know that the integrity and honesty of Legend Auto was on point. It was important to them that the car was properly sold. Keep in mind, everyone who purchases a used car, do your due diligence, get things checked out, and most of all DEFER YOUR DOWN PAYMENT UNTIL YOU TAKE POSSESSION OF A TOTALLY CHECKED OUT CAR. Give them your down payment upon delivery. Get your car inspected by a neutral party even if it costs you a bit. If there is nothing to hide, dealerships wont have a problem with a pre-delivery inspection. Remember these cars are sold as is, and the extra warantees that are sold can be a waste of money. 10/17/11 About a week ago I purchased an Infinity G35, in Legend Auto from a guy named Sahid, they told me the car was in excellent condition. When I brought it home and put it in my garage I smelled something burning. I contacted them by the phone, they told me to bring the car down and they told me it was nothing. When I brought the car they said they couldn't find anything wrong. The next day I found oil dripping from my car. It took them two days to fix the oil leak by then it was too late for me to return the car. When I picked up the car, Legend Auto was out of business, a guy named Amir was there and he was the new owner. I asked them to check everything in the car to see if there were any problems, they assured me that there wasn't any problems. I took the car to a mechanic and he found very visible problems that needed to be fix, (belts, brakes, spark plugs, damaged tires). Amir told us they were not going to fix anything because they don't have too, and I can't drive a car that I spent over $17,000. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY ARE CROOKS, THEY ARE UNDER A NEW NAME ITS CALLED GLOBAL HOUSE OF IMPORTS. The new owner is named Amir and after you buy a car from him, he will treat you like a piece of trash. P.S Amir the new owner or manager screamed at me a woman, and mistreated me , like he was the victim and I was the villain I honestly believe that they are going to continue doing the same thing to other people if you are as outrage as I am please contact me and maybe we can prevent this to happen to other people. I can not express how happy we were with the service at Legend Auto! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Their selection of cars is truly incomparable. When you walk in you do not feel like you are at a used car dealership, it is a beautifully kept spot. I came in to look at an F-150 I saw online and I brought my mother with me and they treated my mom like she was the one there to buy the car! she came in asking for coffee and water and said she was hungry and Edwin and Fernando brought her in and gave her grapes and made her coffee and made her feel at home! They also went in search of milk for her coffee!! The truck is beautiful and I was in love but the price was a little steep for my husband but I have to tell you that they all worked together to make us all happy! Now the Truck randomly comes to a sudden stop on freeway and regular streets with my children inside. It's so dangerous. I live quite far from the dealership and could not make it over there to see the car because of work and familial duties. I was approved and got calls from 4 different people (it's as if they don't talk to each other at all) and then one of the managers told me they couldn't bring the car to me because it was too high performance. BEWARE!!!!!! My husband and I found the exact truck we were looking for on cargurus.com through Legend Auto. We called the salesman and asked all the appropriate questions for purchasing used. We confirmed that we would be able to drive the truck off the lot that day and we would have 48 hours to have the vehicle checked by OUR mechanic. We drove two hours to the their lot and test drove the vehicle. There were some red flags; rusting, what looked like water damage and a weird smell. My husband and I agreed we would purchase the vehicle and see what the mechanic had to say. We sat down with Sam, filled out all of the paperwork, wrote a check and were ready to drive away. Sam said there was one stipulation, we had to take the truck to THEIR mechanic no questions asked. Of course we walked. These are bad people that lie! read more

I had to put my own gas after i baught my car getting of the lot! They said the "owner" doesnt allow them to fill the tank. Yet they didnt tell me this until after i signed the finance contract smh!
