Highly recommend! I came here for a fill, and was helped by Jessica who is the owner's wife. She was meticulous and very thoughtful! She paid extra special attention to not cut my cuticles and to shape my nails just right. She asked throughout the process if I was satisfied with the way she was doing things, which I definitely was. The process was a bit longer than at other salons I've been to (about 1 hour 45 minutes) but I was willing to spend a little extra time to ensure I walked out happy. I'm not sure about the other technicians, but can recommend Jessica and her husband Vinh! read more

This is the BEST nail salon. Believe me, I have tried them all. I actually drive all the way from shoreline to make sure they are the only ones that touch my nails. Vin has done my nails and I have been satisfied. Apparently today he was busy and a woman beat the hell out of my cuticles, nipped and cut me under my nails then superglued over the cuts; so much pain. Then she slapped on a mess of lumpy nail polish and had to clean up all the nail edges with acetone. I have NEVER had this happen and I was in tears from the pain of acetone in my filed open cuticles. Hours later, my fingers all still hurt and I need to change this child-like nail polish application . I just can't bear to use the polish remover. Despite previous decent experiences, I'm giving one star. When I called for an appointment you should have told me none were available rather than stick me with this maniac. Customer lost. read more

In a "not recommended" review, Cat wrote scathing things about this company. I was there during her "incident". She was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. They asked her to wait for a few minutes and they would repair her nail as the shop was full. She refused to wait and started arguing loudly. Everyone in there tried to calmly stop her. She swore, saying "Don't f... with me!" I was close to calling 911 as I had my disabled daughter with me and I didn't know how far she would go. This is a great shop. Got a pretty good French manicure here ($18), the lady doing my nails was quiet but pleasant to talk to and didn't rush me which was nice. PLEASE DONT BOTHER!! I received the worst shellac manicure I have ever had!!! IT STARTED TO PEEL AFTER A DAY! No shellac manicure should ever peel after a day, let alone a week. By day three already two of my nails had peeled off. Still haven't made it to the week mark yet but I can tell more are peeling. From the get go I could tell my mani was bad. There were a few bumps at the bottom, my cuticles weren't cut back properly, and it wasn't painted to the edge of my nails. I literally could see them started to lift right after I got them. Really bums me out that day I decided to treat myself AND be nice and give a larger tip than expected. I was thinking of going back but after reading reviews online it sounds like they don't fix your mistakes, or if they do they make you wait really long AND PAY FOR THEM TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE! Not only was the quality of the mani bad, it didn't have normal many experience, no hand rubs, or warm towel, or even hand washing (probably why my nails did not stick) don't bother with this place save your money read more

I have been going here for years. It is usually pretty good but once in awhile it's not what I am accustomed too. I recently got the SNS AND my third time getting it filled the product did not hold and the nails kept chipping off. I went in to get it fixed. They continued to chip off. So I went in again and they took the product off and put on something else. I did not receive a discount or apology after they admitted to a faulty SNS product shipment. Not the best customer service. Also they grind your nails like maniacs. Even when your yelling In pain and your nail bed is bright red. Proper nail techs would have discontinued using a grinder immediately. They just shrugged. read more

There were 3 girls working and only one other customer so I got in right away for a pedicure. I've never had my nail polish removed with a Dremel before but I didn't say anything 'cause I wanted to see if it was better than polish remover. I haven't noticed any difference. I believe the woman that did my nails must have been new because she was very hesitant on doing any type of clipping, cuticle remover, etc. I asked her to clip my nails shorter and she said no because they might bleed. Well, not if you do it right! The whole time she was working on me the other 2 ladies took in another customer while the first customer was still sitting there. I could tell she was having shellac removed because her nails were wrapped in foil but after 30 minutes and no one checking on her, even though she kept looking over for help, she finally ripped the foil off and stormed out of the salon! My pedicure looks nice and seems to be lasting but I didn't like how they treated the other customer and the fact that she wouldn't trim my nails shorter. Will probably not go back. read more

Just a little confused. Within the last 4 months, I was charged $37, then $38, and today $40. I only get the basic manicure and pedicure.

I don't know why I came here....this girl could not shape nails to save her life but I'm sure she didn't care she seemed very uninterested in doing my nails decently. $35 for crappy misshapen nails that don't even match and this was even after I asked her to shape them better! Then when she was doing the color there was no top coat, and she kept switching off hands to paint so when doing a second coat she'd get confused on which ones she had already painted. It was ridiculous. Maybe others are better here than her but I'm not risking it and coming back. I felt awkward not tipping so I put two dollars down but wish I had done. read more

I have heard mixed reviews of Legend so going in I was a little apprehensive but the timing and locale worked out great for my day. I got the BEST pedicure I have ever had! The salon is immaculate, I heard them say they just got new pedicure chairs. My toes look and feel so great! I'm very picky, I like my nails super short and I like my polish to be perfect. My family laughs at me because I always have something to complain about when I get my toes done, it is never just right. This was just right!!! This is my new go to place! So so happy. I am going to try the SNS for my nails next trip in. read more

Unbelievable service...as in we NEVER WANT TO COME BACK! My wife came here a few times to get her nails done since we live right next door, but this last time will actually forever be the last time. It seems they've changed owners because we only see a few familiar faces but we mainly see new ones: The new lady who did her nails, Kathy, rushed through my wife's service and did not seem to care at all about my wife's thoughts throughout the whole appointment. We loved everyone else at the salon but Kathy is the only one who bothers my wife the most. My wife has had rude experiences with this particular lady as well- she would be saying something to my wife and then just turns and leaves without allowing time for my wife to give a reply. This kind of service is why they have such low ratings now and we will find a new salon with better customer service. If I'm paying money for my wife to get pampered, I want her to enjoy her time and relax- not get rushed and then pushed out the door so they can make more money. Their salon is no longer legendary after the change in owners! How disappointing. read more

Been going here for 6 years. I highly recommend this place for pedicures. It's very clean and the ladies are always so friendly. After trying several different people always ask for Lana and she's the best I've ever had. I have sensitive feet and she's very careful and gentle when cutting my nails. But her real talent is the foot massage and she has magic hands that take all my stress away. I'm always relaxed after I leave. She also has a great talent for adding beautiful designs to the nails. The worst artistry and service I have ever experienced. The ventilation system is non existent and unless you enjoy huffing fumes to get high, you will leave breathing a little more poorly and with a headache. My chest ached from sitting there on my return visit one day later to have them fix my nail that was coming off. I worry about the regular customers who sit for hours here and the brain damage they have from huffing the fumes. Having already paid money and tipped, Legend salon does not have time to correct any mistakes from careless workmanship that arose1 day following the application of my acrylic nails. I had acrylic nails placed as a holiday treat to myself having not had them for a year. I love acrylic nails! Applied well, they last without mishap for a long time and only need to be filled every 2 to 3 weeks. Done well, they do not chip or break or come off ever. Upkeep by returning every 2 to 3 weeks for a fill. *I should have taken it as an omen when my acrylics were being put on when a woman whose acrylic nails they had done 2 days before walked in and her entire nail had come off, They did not help her. She waited and waited and asked for help with no response. THEY IGNORED HER. After 15 minutes, she left, saying she would not return EVER again. She had to pay elsewhere to repair the poor workmanship she received at Legend. The same thing happened to me but it was the next day after having them put them on! One day later! They had no time to fix my nail and said they were busy with their new customers who had not paid and who had not yet tipped them for service. They wanted me to make an appointment and return another day to fix it. They were rude for a job not done correctly for which I had already paid. I had already paid of course, and already tipped of course, and was returning 1day later because my nail was lifting off at the point where they had poorly glued it. Very unprofessional atmosphere. After keeping me waiting and complaining about no time to help me and a hugely rude response and another hour of my time spent inhaling noxious fumes on a very busy day for me, they finally fixed it. service: gel mani, recommended by friend pro: nails looked good for 5 days cons: 1. station was gross - lots of nails and filings on the counter/wrist wrest 2. got very upset when I wanted to see the actual bottles before choosing a color from the nail board, walked off in a huff muttering. 3. Then put the color on her own nail to show me how it looks I guess? 4. Used a buffer from a previous client on me, lots of white on that thing. 5 Wiped the polish off my cuticle wiith her own nail (no gloves) 6. Ripped the heck out of my cuticles 7. Small table fans were not turned on, and client next to me was getting fills, which made for quite the inhaled fumes. 8. may be just my nails, but polish started to shrink after 5 days. 9. pointed at garbage for me to throw away paper towel after washing my hands...but wasn't sure what she meant, since no English. 10. this place is not clean, unless you have pretty low expectations. bottom line: I will never go again, it was a traumatizing experience read more

I'm not sure if I got in on an off day or what happened. I was in the area and decided to give this place a try since it had good reviews. I already had acrylics on and just needed a fill and also wanted a pedicure. Both services were done at the same time and rushed. The acrylics weren't filed well and are still pretty thick. It's noticeable that they're fake. The girl also cut me while filing and tried to hide it at first. She then went and got alcohol to put on it which caused my finger to sting incredibly bad for the rest of my service. read more

HORRIBLE job on my nails and terrible customer service. I asked for a refund as the nails did not fit on the bed of my nails and the person who did my nails were really rough on them and my cuticles. The male who did my nails, raised his voice at me in front of customers and walked away. They would not issue a refund. My recommendation is to stay away from this place. read more

I recently had another pedicure and I just told the gentleman "not so rough" and he completely changed it-it turned out perfect! I also recently had my acrylic nails removed and got a Shellac. They gave me a great deal, and did an awesome job! My nails look gorgeous, especially after taking OFF the acrylic ones-I really like Shellac. I'll have to see how long it lasts. I have tried many different nail salons (Kirkland, Bellevue, Woodinville, Redmond) for a pedicure and Legend is by far the best! The staff is competent and friendly and I am always pleased with their service. They are always busy on Saturdays so make an appointment but once in a while I can get in after work at about 5 p.m. without an appointment. They are also open on Sunday! It is a no frills place but very clean and the prices are fantastic! read more

I used to be a regular for eyebrow waxing and now I'll never go back. The staff is border line rude. The last time I visited, the lady who was waxing my eyebrows talked on her blue tooth the entire time. She was very rough and it was clear she was in a hurry. I mentioned that it hurt more than normal and she told me it was because the hairs were longer. I don't believe it, I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for 10+ years. The place isn't clean, they hurry customers out, they aren't polite to customers. I won't go back. read more

I give them one star, only because they took my hard earned money. This place is awful in all aspects. First off they trimmed my toe nails and cuticles with dirty instruments. Aftet she aftet used them she put them back into the the cart drawers. I put my feet into cold water to start with and I thought wow I thought it would be warm water. Well when the pedicure was over the lady got up walked away and said nothing I sat for 5 minutes thinking she was going to work more on my dead skin on my heels. I know the instruments were dirty because she rolled her cart over to the next victim and started working. And when I got up a lady sat in my seat seat with out cleaning out the foot soak at all. And she talked on the phone the entire time via blutooth. OK this was my first pedicure after talking with my wife and daughter it sucked I still have dead skin on heels. I will venture to my wife and daughter's place next time to get it done right. read more

Stay away from this place; it is not worth your time and money. I came in to get manicure and shelac. Even before I left this place, I already regretted the job they did and I already wanted to take it OFF! The manicure was poorly done; the technician missed filing nails, leaving sharp nail pieces poking out. This only got filed after I mentioned this explicitly at the end. The color application itself was the worst. The surface was uneven and lumpy, and the nails looked grown out! They did not apply the color right at the base of the nail. Also, the color was applied very sloppily and not cleaned up, with splotches on the finger itself, the cuticles, and skin. The bitter sweet part: it started peeling and lifting within a week's time! At other places, shelac lasts at least 3 weeks without any issues. It should last longer, but I am relieved because I can now remove this terrible job they did! Will never again visit this salon. read more
