Like almost all reviews have stated, you walk in (LUCKILY, one of the employees was right by the front door and asked if it was our first time, which it was) and then we were told to pick a table, grab a menu and order at the register when ready. I absolutely hate walking into restaurants unsure if we seat ourselves or, wait to be seated so, I'm glad we were told as soon as we walked in the door. Very "hip" and "trendy" type of cafe. Very clean. Gifts of goodies (chocolate, brownies, hard candies, post cards, shirts and a few other items, all around their register). Tables are not very sturdy and what is up with the sheets of paper over the nice table cloths? I was expecting it to be more kid friendly when I saw those sheets of paper.... I thought crayons would be given to our kid but I guess that wasn't what they were for. LOL. Staff was friendly, helpful and very attentive. After playing a little over $50 (not including tip), we started to feel a little worried we would be disappointed. We ordered the Quatro Formaggi (Pizza) $10.95 (employee suggested we get it with mozzarella cheese only, as it was for a child). Surprisingly, this was the only "kid friendly" option they had. This pizza was amazing, our pizza connoisseur REALLY enjoyed it. We managed to snag a couple of bites and we were blown away. Excellent pizza! My husband had the Chicken Mushroom Fettuccine $14.95, He said he really enjoyed it and to my surprise was full after nearly licking the plate clean and finishing off the bread they brought to our table. I had the Cranberry Turkey Cobb Salad $13.95, I fully enjoyed it. I would suggest if you are picky about how much dressing is put on your salad, ask for the dressing on the side. My salad did not come as someone had pictured in their review (dressing on side). They weren't too heavy with the dressing, but for me, I would have preferred a little less. I absolutely enjoyed their Passion Berry Iced tea $2.50 (free refills). The Leaf Lemonade (regular) $2.75 was a very lightly sweetened watered down lemonade slushy. It was okay but I don't think we'd get it again. Sadly, we made no room for dessert. I so badly wanted to try their Orange Coffee Dream Cake, it looked amazing. I do think the pricing is a little high, I would have charged about $3 less, especially for the cheese pizza and salad. BUT, the food was great and we'd go back again for sure. read more

I am a vegan and they made a pasta dish, staff were nice and they even sell teas and other stuff like that. One weird thing is that this place kinda smells like Disney's Haunted Mansion. Lemon Leaf is hands-down my favorite (although it's tied with Fresco II) place to eat in the entire Antelope Valley! I even rank it up there with my favorites in LA and the san fernando valley. Love the casual atmosphere (great if you have kids), love the food. Great soups (spring for the bowl, the cup is miniscule), great pizzas, great salads. The brownies are out of this world. They even catered a party at our house once and everyone raved about it! I wish they would open a Palmdale location (hint, hint!). read more

Its hard to find 5-star quality restaurants in this town. When I first moved back after college, I was not looking forward to not having access to super nice restaurants that I like to indulge in once and while. But then I discovered Lemon Leaf. The atmosphere is casual and friendly unlike a stuffy LA restaurant but the food is top notch and can compete with any 5-star restaurant in the country. It is one of my favorite restaurants of all time, of course because the food is absolutely incredible and original, offering everything from salads to a greek plate appetizers to the best pizza and pasta you've ever had. Another bonus is that the owner is so incredibly sweet, and is in the restaurant every day, humbly greeting customers and making sure everyone is happy. She is a true Italian and her food shows it. I truly love this place and am so grateful I can go to it everyday!!! read more

Came for a light dinner. First time here and the vibe of the place was pretty cool. Definitely good affordable food. The bruschetta was very good!!! Also have a decent selection of beer and wine. Going to Lancaster California please don't hesitate to lunch here. Great food, pastry chef in the middle of Lancaster Boulevard fantastic location very uplifting bright decor great healthy meals reasonably priced for what you get. I love it there I never hesitate to bring family, friends, business associates plus plenty of room to spread out, open briefcase excetera. Location is off of Sierra Highway on Lancaster Boulevard makes it about 3 miles from just about any Municipality or the courthouse. On the other spectrum it's perfect for a afternoon tea or get together meeting place you're never rushed. I must add I might have only gone about 10 times. Never one bad meal. The in-house chef does fantastic pastry as well as great healthy lunches. read more

Went to this place for the first time the other night. First off this place is adorable, great ambiance. I really wish they would just seat you and take your order. They have servers that serve the food, refill your drinks, etc...It really wouldn't be that hard to have them take orders as well. We got the begger's purse and the pink campinelle. I really enjoyed the begger's purse but was not impressed with the pink campinelle. We then had the creme brulee for dessert, I loved that! Overrated. Some dishes are a hit, some are not. Strange anyone would describe this place as upscale, being that you have to order at the counter. The pesto pasta here is amazing as are all their pizzas and salads. I'm not a huge dessert fan but my friends and family who like desserts seem to love it. Their service is also really friendly. I only wish their prices were a bit more affordable so I could go here more often. When you walk in, it has an open floor plan and there is a good amount of seating. You have to go to the counter to get a menu and order there as well. Have been here numerous times, the only reason it does not get a five star review is I feel it is somewhat over priced for what you get. The staff is great, very professional and attentive. Most importantly the food is absolutely delicious. You cannot go anywhere else in the Antelope valley and find anything like lemon leaf. Everytime my family and I go we order the same thing. Roma rustica pizza, kids pasta with marinara sauce, and turkey cobb salad. We have tried other items like their chicken kabobs and other pastas, all were amazing.
