We were at Lemongrass tonight, and I must say it was real good. We had Shooting Star roll as an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the spicy chicken with basil, my husband had a combo meal both entrees were very good. The service was good and the staff was friendly. Will definitely go back again. It is a mixture of different foods Chinese, Thai, and Japanese but done well. For the people who only gave it one star I would say go back and try it again or maybe they ordered the wrong foods. read more

My family & I dined here last night & everything was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly & accommodating & all of us were so pleased with our meals. I personally had a hot & sour soup, spicy shrimp roll & beef pad thai & it was all AMAZING. Our table ordered a variety of different options from the menu & everything was brought over so quickly. I came to LemonGrass after over passing it for several years as a resident of Warwick. I decided to try it with my girlfriend, at her suggestion, one night after a long plane ride. Boy was I surprised, top notch meal! We ordered a scorpion bowl and fried dumplings to start. I had the AC3 which included wings, spare ribs and beef teriyaki. If you go on a Friday night or Saturday, prepare to wait a little bit but I heard they are expanding. Lemongrass has above average general tso and really tasty and big spicy crispy chicken wings. The chicken pad tai is huge and also very tasty. They have pretty good tasting scorpion bowls if you want a nice treat. There is also a small bar and some TV's for sports night and they can accommodate large parties with their big tables. The tables are sweet looking too. read more

We have been here several times since buying a house a few streets away, and it is always spot on! This time we walked over. We started w/ a scorpion bowl (of course). Then our nim chow arrived. it is always better here than anywhere else that I have ever had it. Sometimes we call in nimh chow for pick up because we crave it so much. We then split the crispy/spicy wings, lo mein, and the red dragon sushi roll. Every item was a little bit better than anticipated. Very well prepared, and very quick to arrive from the kitchen. Everything would have been the perfect meal, except the dessert. It wasn't bad, but certainly not as good as the meal. We ordered the sherbert thing, covered in white chocolate. Pretty boring, and probably not made in-house. If they had green tea tempura ice cream on the menu... It would have been the best pan-Asian meal I ever had! Sadly we will not be returning to lemongrass. We have been regular customers for a few years. We generally order the same few items off of the menu. We live across town so its a 20 min drive to get there. I ordered my food and arrived home only to find they had given me the wrong order. I called and they told me to "bring it back". They then told me that i owed them .75 cents for the right order. I refused to pay it. I asked them if they had made the food freshly and they said no. They said they could remake it. What? The food sat for at least 45 minutes. I should have just asked for a refund but was starving so i was stuck with cold thai food. Not awesome. The food is ok. There aren't a ton of thai places in warwick so the options are what they are. I guess we will go to seven moons next time we have a craving for pad thai. read more

The chkn pad Thai is real good and so are the hot crunchy wings, girlfriend and I eat there every Thursday night or Friday night. Waitress is very good,sociable and helpful. Came here for lunch extremely disappointed in the service. Our server was no where to be found for a solid 20-25 minutes. We wanted to order a to go lunch special. It's now over the lunch special time because she has not come to check on us. Tables have come in after us and left before us. Iv order a few times and they always seem annoyed when you ask questions about dishes . And the restaurant policies don't seem to really care about they're customers . Most Chinese places let you substitute things in combos for exam lo mein for rice . Some people don't like rice . But there policy doesn't allow it even for a up charge one why wouldn't you allow customers to spend more money 2. On Yelp reviews, chose to go to Lemongrass for an early dinner. Sat at the bar, and had a very attentive waitress. Seaweed salad was standard (you can buy in freezer section of pretty much any asian market). Chicken with Lemongrass was light, full of fresh vegetables, and spiced excellently! My family and I have frequented Lemongrass since it has opened in Rhode Island. Tonight was the last straw. The staff is completely unprofessional and would not take responsibility for the disaster they made of our order. After calling and complaining, the staff couldn't seem to find the owner, Chang, who has been in the restaurant EVERY time we've gone to dine or pick up food. Chang seems to have spent too much money and time on renovating the restaurant and forgotten how to take good care of his customers and the basics of good Asian cuisine. We will NEVER go back to LEMONGRASS and will spread the word to others. If you want good Chinese cuisine, go to The Islander in Warwick. If you want good Thai or Cambodian food, go to Apsara or Thai Excursion down the street. Completely disgusted with Lemongrass and the unprofessional, sorry staff. read more

I'm going to give it a 3 because we've had great meals in the past. However, it seems to be going down hill. The prices keep going up and the quality goes down. On our latest visit the service was horrible. She was friendly but inattentive. Once the food came she never came over again until we flagged her down for water refills and to go boxes. Now the food. Almost nothing was hot. It came out quick but apparently not fresh from the pan. It was lukewarm at best. The chicken with lemongrass, that we've had many times in the past, was so small. And I swear in the past it came with a side of white rice but not anymore. We've always had leftovers in the past and this time there wasn't enough for the 2 of us. The beef teriyaki was room temperature as were the dumplings. The wings were the only item that came out hot but didn't have the flavor they've had in the past. Very bland. The nime chow was great as always, but smaller than we remembered. Would love to see them step up their game and return to how it used to be. But for now, time to explore some new places. read more

We have lived in Warwick for about 5 months now and we have tried a lot of Chinese restaurants. Lemongrass is by far the best. Their chicken seems like it's good quality and their veggie lo mein is the best I've found on our side of Warwick. I believe they only do takeout, but it is always ready quickly! This is the worst "supposed" Thai/Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Start with the seating. I am a very tall person and the 2 other people in my party were not small people. They sat us in a small booth even though there were larger booths available. I asked to be moved to a larger booth but the hostess said the large booth was reserved for a party of 4 or more so she moved us to a table that was the same size as the booth. I let it slide even though it was uncomfortable. The server, Joy, came over. She was anything but joyful. Could hardly speak English so there was a severe lack of communication. She did not even know what a chick breast was! I ordered sushi. Big mistake. The seaweed in the sushi roll was chewy. Never had sushi that was this disgusting. I ate about 1/2 of the order and had to spit of the chewy seaweed. The ignorant owner actually wanted to charge me for 1/2 of the order even though I showed him the chewy seaweed that I had to spit out. I ordered Hunan chicken as my meal. I took one bite and the chicken and vegetable tasted old and stale. One person in my party ordered Thai style chicken wings as his meal and same thing, wings tasted stale and old. After I pointed out to the ignorant owner about my Hunan chicken, he actually got an old stinky garbage pail, brought it over to the table, put the garbage pail at the end of the table and dumped my dinner into it. Very sanitary. The ignorant owner raised his voice and tried to start a fight with me!! I have never experience such poor ownership in my life or such poor service. I did not know how this disgusting restaurant is still in business. Also, do not know why the health department never shut it down. Really deplorable establishment. read more

Went in for a late lunch with my wife and a friend. The bartender gave us menus and then basically ignored us. When we went to order she said 3:01 to late for lunch. I guess the clock is more important than customer service. Left without food or drinks. I guess 1 minute is more important than 3 customers! Disappointing! read more

I've been going here for years. It has become our go-to for takeout. PROS: Clean. Very friendly staff. The people that take the phone orders are always 100% English-fluent. No matter what or when you order-- "15 minutes." Clean bathrooms. Swanky new remodeling. Ample parking. CONS: Some dishes can be a little greasy. Lo Mein, I'm looking at you. If they're busy, they frequently make mistakes on your takeout order. Check it before you leave. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars. RECOMMEND: the Pad Thai Lemon Grass Chicken or Lemon Grass Chicken Wings the Bebong Natang (I don't know what's in that sauce, and I don't care.
