I don't know if they weren't busy because it was a weekday and gloomy weather outside but our server was very friendly/sweet/welcoming and we were both happy with our meals and drinks! There is a small free parking lot behind the restaurant. I almost missed the entrance to the lot but it's literally right next to the restaurant, which is a small cute looking stand alone house. There were tables out front but the day we went it was a little chilly/rainy so we opted to sit inside. There were a few tables inside and even a small bar so we just sat in a booth. The overall decor inside was very cute! There's also a bathroom in the back. I ordered the Lunch Special: Pad See Ew with Shrimp and a Thai Iced Tea. I forgot what my friend ordered but she really liked it and said it had a home-cooked meal feel to it which was a positive thing. My food was also delicious though a bit on the smaller portion size and it came with a small salad (you can choose the salad or Tom Yum Soup) and a small spring roll. The Lunch Special Menu is only available Monday to Friday 11:30AM-3:00PM except holidays. The Beef Red Curry was rich and aromatic with a luscious coconut milk base. The red curry paste had great depth. There was layers of lemongrass, galangal, and spices. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and Thai basil were fresh and plentiful. I loved how it had a nice kick that built up without overpowering the dish. The Chicken Satay came out perfectly grilled with beautiful char marks. The chicken was juicy and marinated well, and the peanut sauce on the side was creamy, nutty, and addictive. Finally, the Basil Chicken delivered that classic Thai street-food flavor. Plenty of fragrant holy basil, lots of garlic, and just the right amount of chili heat. The prix fixe menu gave us so much food. Every course came out beautifully presented, full of flavor, and honestly more than enough to leave us satisfied (and then some). From the starters to the entrées and dessert, everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is perfect for a night out -- stylish, relaxed, and great for conversation. This was a girls' night, but I already know I'll be back for a date night with my husband. It's that kind of place.
