We love lenas! They have some of the best bone in wings I've every had. Just the way I like them! They have a wide selection of subs. My favorite is the steak bomb. We also have gotten the chicken cutlet. I think it could use more tomato, more lettuce, and more mayo. But the wings! :) definitely what keeps us coming back. The cashier guy is always so friendly even if I come close to closing time, he is always so enthusiastic! We still have a lot more to try on their menu. read more

I used to order Lena's regularly because i work nearby. I have to say the last year the food quality and the customer service has really gone down hill. The pizza has always been disgusting, but the subs were out of the world. Unfortunately the last few times I've ordered my order has been wrong every time. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We ordered 2 very expensive Caesar salads with steak tips. They took about 45 minutes to arrive. Then, when we opened them, we realized that they had no dressing! It wasn't on the salad and it wasn't on the side! We called and were told they would bring us the dressing. We waited for 40 minutes and then called again. I explained that we had been waiting for our salad dressing for a very long time. I told them that we deserve some sort of discount for this. He didn't agree. He was really rude and said, "Hey. So it's a mistake. The driver will be by with some dressing." I told him that we had been waiting for 40 minutes. No apology. He really didn't care. About 10 minutes later, 50 minutes after we called asking for our missing dressing, the dressing arrived...boiling hot. He must just drive around with dressing in his car. GROSS! This was the first and last time I will ever order from this place. I usually order from Anna's Pizza, which has awesome salads! read more

Took over an hour to get a deliver of a couple of hot dogs and 1 sub. Explicitly said NO Cheese on sub, lactose intolerant. Sub came loaded with cheese, hot dogs were so cold I swear they just took them out of the fridge and slapped them into the broken buns they came in. Will not be returning here. read more

I cannot give a review on the food as it was never delivered to me. I had called and placed an order for delivery and was informed it would be about 35-40 minutes. When asked the address, I gave them my address but asked her if she could have the driver call me when he was downstairs, as there is no bell in my office building and the main door is locked. I work in a building connected to a hospital but told her I was not in the hospital building itself and provided her with the correct address. I gave her my cell phone number to give to the delivery driver as I do not have a direct line in my office. So around an hour later I called back to see how much longer it was going to be. The woman that I spoke with was extremely rude and told me that the driver had shown up and the door to the building was locked so he called the hospital's phone number. I told her that this is why I had provided my cell phone number so I could go downstairs to meet the driver. She then told me that I did not give her my number (which I specifically remember doing as I knew that it would have been an issue) and that the driver left as he could not get a hold of. She then, still very rudely, told me that she could have him go out again but that he would not be there for another 40 minutes. So I said forget it and hung up. So maybe this does not go for the entire place, but this particular woman was extremely rude and did not listen to my request when I placed my order. I would never attempt to order from here again and would not recommend it to others. read more

I get their menus in the mail, I live 2.8 miles (Google mapped it!) from their location, BUT THEY REFUSE TO DELIVER TO ME!!!! They said I lived too far!! 2.8 miles!!! I love Lena's! I live so close to it, as well as many other similar small restaurants like this, and they are by far one of the best! The food is always hot and delicious. I usually get the Dijon chicken panini, which is amazing! I think we order from them at least once a week, and they never disappoint. This place was a staple in my diet for 3 years while at Bentley... The pizza, subs, and calzones are terrific and afforable prices and friendly service is definitely a huge plus. I recently moved to the area, and had a hard time finding a replacement pizza joint. I thought I'd give Lena's a try, and I was highly impressed! Nice thin crust, chewy on the outside, soft on the inside. First time we ordered their pineapple chicken & bacon pizza and pepperoni mushroom pizza. Both were excellent. Today, I tried their white pizza with fresh mozerella, tomatoes & basil. Simply delicious. Next time, I'll try their subs, but for sure, I've found my pizza place! read more

Lena's is unreliable. Their pizza is on par with Prospect Pizza, but the difference is that Prospect delivers! The first time I had a problem with Lena's, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. My food wasn't delivered, but I chalked it up to a bad night. Now it's happened twice. After ordering at 7 PM, it's now after 9:30 and I still haven't seen the food that my friends and I ordered. Well to start off I'd like to add I've always thought of Yelp as a bit juvenile and petty. It is only now that I have had an experience so terrible that I feel the need to talk about it. A couple days ago I ordered Fish and Chips from Lena's, maybe I'm the only numbskull who thought it would be a good idea to order Fish from a pizza and subs but I digress. What was brought to my home that afternoon was the most vile, slimy, and repulsive interpretation of food I've ever seen. The fish had to be frozen there is just no chance in hell that it's "fresh" and the batter was soggy in such a way that it had for sure been nuked in a microwave. The worst part was how tasteless the fish was, I mean it really had zero flavor. I really feel bad saying this but maybe they should remove it from the menu I'm sure their pizza is decent but my god I've never been to taken aback by the sheer level of gross for $20. This place was a disappointment, twice. I tried their pizza, which was nothing special, but when I returned for a sub sandwich, I was really bummed. The meat was of poor quality, and the overall flavor of the marguerita sandwich was odd. We also tried one of their panini sandwiches, which also sucked. The chips were a lame plain-wrap brand. I have ordered from this place before, and they have good chicken wings and decent food. The thing about consumers though are that they are more likely to leave a bad review and tell more people about if they have bad service than when they have a good service experience. One thing that really frustrates me with ordering online with this place is that they only have one option for payment, and that is cash. There is not option for you to directly enter your cc information into the system and conveniently pay there. If you put in the comment notes that you want to pay with a credit card, you have to call them and make sure that your credit card goes through which is inconvenient. You might say, why are you being lazy? I say, as a consumer I am ordering online for effectiveness and efficiency, so if I am ordering online so I eliminate the step of calling and taking time away from the person behind the counter, why should I be inconvenienced to call and make sure that my What is the point of ordering online, if I can't pay online? Now this is the icing on the cake. You go to Google and search for the companies website, and it comes up with their address, and their elaborate menu with all the items they offer with the prices.Because I have no cash on me and want to make sure the delivery person doesn't show up without my order being paid for. I call the store to pay for my order because I got no phone call. You are emailed a receipt and you are given a total. When the woman on the phone answered she gave me a different total. I explained to here that was not what is on my receipt. She broke down for me what I had ordered, one of the items was not priced online what it is apparently priced in the store, but on their WEBSITE and my RECEIPT I have the price that I was told. The pettiness is not about the minute dollar difference, it is about the PRINCIPLE. This woman went on to tell me that that is not their website. That makes no sense to me? I can order to your store through this internet link which has all the items you offer, in which how you receive my order, but its not your website ?We went back and forth, and she got frustrated, just as I did. The food is good (particularly the steak tips) and the menu is extensive. However, delivery tends to be slow and take upwards of the higher estimate that they give you (if they give you an estimate at all). Also, there have been 2 occasions in the last 2 months or so where my delivery order was either the wrong or incomplete. read more

The food is still ok, but not the high quality over stuffed works of arts it used to put out. Not only did I have to speak to the delivery driver 3 times to tell him where I was (said the same exact thing every time) but when I received my sub it was soggy and made wrong and they sent me the wrong kind of chips. Now usually I would just suck it up, but after the delivery driver clearly not paying attention to what I said and the food being wrong I decided I needed to write a review. I have gone into the shop and ordered food and really liked it in the past. I will now never order from here again. Horrible experience. I've been to Lena's several times and I have to say, the food is amazing. I've tried a variety of meals and I love the pizza in general. My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza. That's my favorite meal but all the food at Lena's is FABULOUS and great quality. It's not exactly the best looking or fanciest place but it has great food. Truthfully I usually don't expect much from a pizza place, and if the first thing you judge this little gem by is the interior decor, you probably wouldn't have expected much either. I decided to give it a try, sight unseen, after the excellent reviews on yelp. I placed an order online that thankfully didn't require me to enter any credit card information (I hate creating a new account holding my credit card information for every new little thing!) and said I'd pick up the order in person. When making a custom pizza online, you first pick your size, and then it takes you to a follow-up menu where you pick your toppings. I ordered a whole wheat 16" pizza with tomatoes, basil, and garlic. About twenty minutes later, I arrived and claimed my pizza. When I confirming it was my order, somehow black olives were put on the pizza instead of basil, and truthfully I'm not sure if it's because I had a freudian click (my partner hates olives but I LOVE them) during the ordering process, or they misread the order. Either way though, they generously offered and seem to really really want to make me a new pizza right then and there, but I in turn really really wanted those olives and convinced them to part with it, after they also sprinkled on some basil for free. When we got home, I was seriously surprised by the quality of the pizza. I mean, generally pizza is pizza to me unless it's one of the fancy thin-crust kind with fancy toppings like, oh I don't know, caviar and arugula or something. But this pizza was seriously amazing -- especially for being a whole wheat pizza! I never would have known! And with such simple toppings! Also it turns out the partner doesn't hate olives so much after all. Victory all-around. read more
