5/15/26 Friday 2pm First time here. Not an easy place to find. So happy they have signs with arrows directing and where to go. It was packed! Our wait was about 35 minutes or so. So we ordered coffee/matcha drinks and a cheese burekas at the to go counter since there was a wait and I was hungry. I got my frozen Matcha first and we had to wait a little bit for the frozen coffee, but when we asked, she brought it to us. The frozen coffee with oat milk with quarter sweet was delicious! The frozen Matcha was also good and that was with 2% milk and half sweet. That was good, but the frozen coffee was better. Love, love, love the packaging of the coffee and Matcha drinks. Super cute! The bureka was cold and a little dry and really should be heated up before handing to customer, but I was so hungry I just needed a couple bites of something until we got our table. It would've been better had it been heated and properly served. We got our table for three. Eva was our server and she was really nice. Also, I have to give a shout out to Peter. He was super sweet. Thanks Peter for your kindness! Not only did he talk to us about what was good on the menu, he also brought a kids fork for my niece who is 4 1/2 and I thought that was a very nice touch (she ate cucumbers and tomatoes with her cute little fork). We ordered fries, schnitzel, tuna melt, and the steak and comte sandwich. Everything was yummy! The fries are skinny, crispy, and flavorful! The schnitzel could have used a little less salt, but it wasn't bad. Not the best I've had but good. Both sandwiches came with sourdough, which I love. I would have liked for the sandwiches to be less greasy/oily so next time I will request that. Not sure if it was butter or oil or combination of both, but I will make sure to ask for less of that next time. Everything on the menu looked great! The salads, the sandwiches, the Smashburger, and the breakfast! I will slowly try other items on the menu. I do not live in the area, but if I did, I would be here more often. Maybe one day they'll open up a location in the valley... They would do great! Owner is very nice and seemed to care when I was watching him provide customer service. We went on Mother's Day, so it was packed. We ordered our food to go and waited about an hour for it. Seating inside is very limited, and the outdoor tables are set up in a loading dock area. Definitely a little odd since the restaurant is located inside an office building. That said, the food was very good. The drinks, unfortunately, were warm, and the hostess wasn't the friendliest. On a positive note, the flower vendor outside was incredibly kind. Honestly, the best part ended up being taking our food to a nearby park and enjoying it there. read more

Leora is a great spot. I've visited a few times now and it's always consistent. Service is always excellent and the staff truly care. A hidden gem for LA restaurants. Menu has a great selection. The frozen coffee is fantastic it reminds me of Tim Horton's. For food, I tried the breakfast burrito. The eggs are a soft scramble perfectly cooked with a high quality avocado. My husband and I came for a late lunch around 3pm today (Saturday), and we had such a great time! The place is PACKED and we fully expected to wait for a long time for a table, but we put our name in and were seated roughly 10 minutes later. My husband and I ordered the tuna melt, the holy schnitz, and a side of fries. We also got a frozen coffee and a Nutella/banana smoothie. WOW. The tuna melt is truly the best I've ever had - the ratio between tuna, cheese, and bread is *chef's kiss*. We saw that it had gone viral, and there is a great reason for it. And if you're looking to up the sandwich even more, ordering a side of chipotle aioli to put on the tuna made for one of the most delicious sandwiches I've truly ever had. The holy schnitz was also amazing, and I also put some of the chipotle aioli on it. I'm pretty sure I could eat that by itself though - it is SO good. The tahini flavor is definitely strong, so that is something to consider flavor-wise, but I thought it was so tasty. It is also HUGE, and I brought home half to eat later. The fries are perfect. Perfectly crispy, perfectly thin, perfectly seasoned. A side order is great for 2 people. The drinks were also SO good. Love the aesthetic in the cute soda can-style bottles (someone else said '2016 aesthetic' and I totally agree). Loved loved loved this place. Also, our waitress was SO kind. We asked about the side sauces and didn't know which we wanted, and she offered to bring out one of each immediately. 2016 aesthetic is back?! I came to LEORA because of social media posts about the cute cans that fit the 2016 era. I finally found the time to come here with a friend on a late Saturday afternoon to grab a bite. Finding this place can be really tricky since they're located behind a few office buildings and maps doesn't exactly know where it is and will make you make a lot of turns. If you go down W 3rd St, there's a long strip of parking spots that require a paid parking meter. You can see the white signs that direct you to their storefront! It was pretty busy on a Saturday late afternoon at 3pm! Our plan was to walk-in and get a table but it was an hour wait so we opted for their take-out instead! I did notice that they had quite a few tables available but it had a reserved plaque on it so definitely get a reservation (on their website) prior to coming here if you don't want to wait. The take-out process was quite easy! If you don't want to wait, they also have their own app so you can place your order ahead of time. You walk into the store and a cashier will take your order! We wanted their banana bread that's displayed in a transparent display but there was a pretty big fly trapped inside so we decided not to at the last minute. We did order their frozen coffee, garlic fries, and chicken caesar wrap. The total ended up being $50. Food: Frozen Coffee (7/10): I loved the can aesthetic that they use! They store most of their take-out drinks in this plastic cup with a soda can lid stapled on top of it. The coffee was just okay. It was creamy, not too sweet, and was just a regular frozen coffee taste. Not sure if it was just us, but we couldn't keep the cup because the lid was impossible to remove. Chicken Caesar Wrap (7/10): This wrap was massive! It was tightly wrapped and packed with tons of grilled chicken, lettuce, but very few croutons. They sear one side of the tortilla which adds a nice char to the taste! They also give a side of dressing but it was too watery and lemony for my preference. I prefer my dressings to be thicker and creamier. Garlic Fries (7/10): These were shoestring dressed with garlic (oil?) and parsley! The fries were amazing. They came out fresh and crispy with a side of Heinz ketchup. I was searching for the garlic bits and flavor within the fries but had a hard time finding both. I wished there were garlic bits that came with the fries so it adds a little depth to the flavor. These were snacky but definitely finish these because we had some leftover and it didn't taste as good after the hot-out of the fryer time period. read more

Solid brunch spot walking distance to a farmers market. We got the bagel and the burrito, with complementary French toast from the waiter who went above and beyond with everything we needed. He also recommended the best way to order the burrito and it came out delicious. The coffee was alright, a little too sweet and diluted but the bottle being a can was pretty neat. I had been seeing this café all over my feed and was excited to try it, but the experience fell short overall. The location is hard to find, tucked behind the Live Nation office, which is inconvenient for first-time visitors. I visited on a Tuesday and was surprised by how busy it was. The space felt extremely cramped and, claustrophobic. There is limited seating inside along with a patio. Our table was placed right by the entrance. It honestly felt like a safety concern, as it in the doorway and made the area uncomfortable. The menu offers a normal selection of breakfast and lunch items, but nothing particularly unique or memorable compared to other cafés in LA. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich It was ok, the chicken was quite dry and pesto was minimal. My friends got a Mexican bowl and the falafel wrap. Both were also mediocre. Overall, the café seems to cater primarily to nearby office workers looking for a quick and convenient bite rather than a standout dining experience. That said, the frozen mocha coffee was genuinely enjoyable. With soooo many amazing café options in LA, this spot did not offer anything distinctive enough to make me come back. I was so curious if the food at Leora would live up to the hype. I brought some friends here for Sunday brunch around noon. The wait was about an hour and the line did not die down. Luckily the Beverly Hills Farmers Market kept us busy. I ordered the Jerusalem bagel, my friends ordered the Huevos Rancheros & the smoked salmon and tater tots. We all got a round of Iced matcha - mine was frozen. Presentation was amazing (I mean look at my bagel picture) and as someone who gets full easily - I finished the whole thing, not a crumb left. My least favorite part of the meal was probably the frozen matcha. It was on the sweeter side and had more ice than liquid if that makes sense. An awesome little hidden café attached to a small office park in Beverly Hills. You cannot see the café from the street but as you walk up, you will hear the noise of the music and the chatter of people and it does feel like a little oasis in the middle of the city. There are many parking spaces around for the office building, but we decided to just park on the street, which is a short walk to the front door. Inside is pretty large, they have indoor and outdoor seating and is surprisingly larger than I was expecting. The menu is actually very large and it has a lot of great options on it. Service was a bit slow for us and when we arrived, we stood there for a while at the "please wait to be seated" sign but no one was on duty so that was a bit of a bad introduction, but it got better from there. I had heard many great things about the Tuna Melt so I decided to try that for my brunch and added avocado. I thought it was fantastic and I especially appreciated how crispy the bread was. I also ordered a Salted Caramel Latte and that too was very nice although I wish it would've been a bit larger in size. This very trendy spot was understaffed, disorganized and had confused staff. That is not to say that the food wasn't delicious because it was. The line was long. Lots of young families. Prices were reasonable. Interesting combinations. I loved the hummus and crudite starter with rainbow radishes and carrots. My chicken salad was the least appetizing. The veg were chopped too thin and the chicken was not hot. The breading fell off of every piece but the ginger dressing was tasty. I did not see any sesame. I went to the ladies room which was strewn with paper all over the floor and the stalls were out of toilet paper. The manager was argumentative and refused to take accountability for his mistake. I placed a to-go order that was incorrectly brought out as a dine-in order. I asked why it was brought rather than packaged. The manager said I told him that I wanted to dine in. Something I never said. He insisted that it was my mistake and that I should have a seat. It was truly wild! The food was great, and I had to go because I was attending an event. I have been ordering takeout from Leora for several months, many days a week, and had nothing but great service until this in-person experience. A fantastic brunch spot and restaurant! I recently went here with three friends for a weekend brunch and were able to immediately get a table (Leora doesn't accept brunch reservations). Leora is in between two office buildings near a loading dock, so it is a bit hard to find and GPS will not be the most helpful. Our service was outstanding from start to finish, with our server even bringing over a high chair for a toddler in our party. We were able to order and get our food in a timely manner and everything was delicious. I got a dark chocolate mocha and a coffee to drink, both of which were very tasty. We shared the following dishes (I recommend this method of ordering as there are lots of tasty things): Chicken Sausage Hummus and Pita: Delicious, creamy hummus with fresh, well-baked pita. Jerusalem Bagel Platter: A solid Jerusalem bagel, although it could have been a bit crispier on the outside and a bit more chewy on the inside. The sauces and eggs were delicious. Shakshouka: The sauce was hearty and well-spiced, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. Grilled Bread Platter: Fantastic crispy and grilled bread. The sauces and eggs were delicious. Came here because the viral frozen coffee. Wanted to give it a try which it was good, but honestly tastes the same as Starbucks.... From a coffee connoisseur I'm truly unimpressed and it's not worth $10. A little note to management please train your employees on bedside manner. Once coming up to the host we asked how long it would be, she said 1 hour for two which is understandable because it's a busy Saturday. I asked if there was other options other than dining she said no. My friend asked if we can just order and go and she made it sound like that would be an inconvenience. Once the coffee came out someone else had taken our order, walked away with the drink, had her mouth all over the straw and was touching the drink. My friend asked if her name was also her name, the girl realized she took the wrong drink. My friend asked the barista if she could remake it, the same girl who took our order said it would take an addition 20 minutes to make it and offered to just wash it. My friend asked if she could just change the top. We waited for the drink and still were waiting for mine. Very hard to find! GPS took me in circles around and around. Not visible from street. Whoever I spoke to gave me excellent directions they said park by the meters on Civic Center before you turn south and go up the steps to the UTI building and you'll see a small sign that says Leora's and then you follow the signs. The only reservation we could get was 2:30. I had been told by Friends you need a reservation or you'll wait an hour or two !! It's charming I had the tuna melt. It was delicious. Wanna try the Shashuka next time. Everybody was so friendly. The food is good but so difficult to find my only complaint is for $18. The tuna salad could've come with a little side Most restaurants throw in some coleslaw a salad even potato chips. Something with the tuna melt there is just plain, but it is delicious. We'll go back and try the Shuka another day when I call and an get an earlier reservation. The owners are amazing, so welcoming and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a great experience. The food is delicious, fresh and high quality. There's also great options for all diets, whether you're gluten free, vegan, or just trying to eat clean, and nothing feels like an afterthought. It's one of those places you go to and then immediately know you have to come back and bring all your friends (because it'd be criminal to not at least bring them to have some frosè at brunch.) I had heard so many great things about Leora Cafe, so I was really excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, my experience ended up being a bit disappointing. I ordered the Jerusalem bagel platter, which (at least when I ordered it) came with a Jerusalem bagel, labneh with za'atar, grated tomato, a hard-boiled egg, schug, and pickles. I also asked for a side of cream cheese. When my food came out, it was just the bagel with cream cheese, none of the other components. I flagged down our waitress and asked, "Hey, are the other sides coming out also? I just want to make sure, because I really want them." She told me yes, they'd be right out... but unfortunately, they never came. It honestly felt like the order may have been put in incorrectly and then forgotten. I completely understand how hectic Sundays can be, and the cafe was very busy, but it was frustrating since it was acknowledged and promised. On top of that, a side of lox for another guest at our table was also forgotten. I really wanted to love this place, especially given how hyped it is, but I think it may just be way too busy on Sundays, which ends up overwhelming the staff and affecting the experience. I had a concerning experience here that I feel needs to be addressed. While visiting, I observed an employee move from using her personal laptop directly behind the counter to handling food without washing her hands. She first ate some cookie while touching her mouth, then proceeded to cut and serve cake using her bare hands, without gloves or proper sanitation. At one point, she even held a piece of cake in her palm while packaging it. Then I watched her call a name and give it to a customer. All of the employees are nibbling on some pastries while serving and not washing hands in between. Additionally, most of the wait staffs hair is long and is left completely down while working with food, which raises further hygiene concerns. These practices fall well below basic food safety and professionalism standards. I hope management takes this seriously and reinforces proper hygiene and food handling protocols. read more

The vibe and the food here are really good. I made a reservation today at 11:15 and got there a bit early. The server sat me down promptly and placed a reserved sign on the table, which made me feel special. Ordering was easy enough: the menus are in the front of the cafe and you order there before you sit down with your number. I got the shakshuka with grilled sourdough and the elderberry hibiscus. I really liked the sourdough bread that came with the shakshuka. It tasted really fresh and homemade, and it paired well with the tomatoey, eggy and cheesy shakshuka. I also liked that the tea was not sweet at all and appreciated that I could actually taste the floweriness of it. The ambience in the cafe was good too. Overall, my experience here was great. I would definitely like to go back and try the other foods they have there, as well as their coffee. PS. I think option 3 to get to the restaurant on their map is the best. Its free parking for 2 hours, and the restaurant is literally right across the street from the structure. You just have to make sure you leave the structure on the correct side. read more
