The owner, Gab, is always there making sure everything runs smoothly, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Strange, because usually a Ruben sandwich has a lot of roasted flavor. He said it tasted like dry roast beef. Had a lot of picture quality, but not much else.

Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.

I couldn't finish eating the two pancakes they were so big (& also only OK on favor), my two over easy eggs were incredibly yummy and for my two pieces of pig I went with bacon. That was a mistake on my part. I only sampled the bacon since I'd totally pigged out at an brunch buffet eating half a dozen rashers only the day before. Not to waste Wonder Bur's thick sliced bacon which also seemed to be extra long I took them with me to enjoy later & I did.

Started with the strawberry martini which was very delicious. For dinner I had the beef stroganoff and my husband had the steak. I really enjoyed my pasta. Short rib was tender and sauce was super flavorful. Also the noodles were cooked perfectly. I tried the steaks and mashed potatoes which were both great, the chimichurri stole the show though. So flavorful!
