Half of the chili verde omelette.

We came here on a quick trip to Solvang and saw the reviews on Yelp and thought we'd try it. Being on more of a Keto lifestyle, they were very accommodating and the food was great! I ordered the omelette-- filled with ham and Gruyère cheese-- it was delicious! My husband ordered the chili verde omelette and it was so fantastic that we stopped by a couple of days later to have it again! It was so big we split it They also bring foamed milk and a biscotti with you coffee! Yum! This little restaurant isn't in the tourist part of Solvang, but it is close. Nice atmosphere, clean and fresh, and they have a nice patio area where we brought our dogs on our 2nd day there. Definitely a favorite now and we'll continue to frequent it when we're in the area!

Great food, good service, very nice and comfortable ambiance. I loved this little gem; it feels cozy and clean. We got the BLT Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Eggs and a Wagyu Burger which was very tasty. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the Solvang. Our server Arianna was very attentive

Came here for the shakshuka. It was a fine eat, but It is more Italian flavor than middle eastern, including a tomato base reminiscent of pasta sauce and capers. The eggs were cooked nicely and bread was good. It's just not the style of shakshuka I prefer Hubby got a chorizo omelette and said the meat was good quality

Eddie was our server, he was excellent! Food was classic style breakfast. We got the French toast and bacon eggs Benedict, both good. We sat outside with our dog. Nice shaded patio.

Everything about this place is awesome! The service was great, so friendly and welcoming! The place itself is charming but all of that is second to the food!

$1.00 for a side of ranch everything was overpriced.

We went here because the reviews looked decent and it was the only breakfast really open later in the morning. They are really over priced for the quality of food you get. You do get big portions. The brioche French toast was soggy in the middle so you had to eat the outside. It came with fruit but it was just two strawberries cut up. The eggs were really bland. They charged a $1 for a tablespoon of ranch. The omelet with ham, cheese was decent, the bread was hard as rock, extremely hard, the hashbrowns were burnt on the outside and extremely greasy and undercooked on the inside. Service was okay nothing great. The place looks really cute on the inside. I typically don't leave negative reviews, it doesn't take much for me to enjoy food, but I couldn't with this place.

We stopped here for breakfast based on a Yelp review. What a great little place! Ysa had the French Toast and I had the Shakshuka. We both had the Café Americano. Everything was delicious and way better than eating in the tourist traps!

The pastrami smoked salmon sandwich does not actually have pastrami but the pastrami spices are present in each bite of the smoked salmon. It worked so well, I wish I didn't have to share but with so much good food, unless my stomach is bigger, sharing allowed me to try more things. I was so happy that we had an option to have a cup of butternut squash soup with that sandwich making it the perfect soup and sandwich combo. The shaved Brussel Sprouts salad is so addictive that I couldn't stop eating it and was a great way to get more veggies in our diet. Even though I over ordered to try everything I wanted, shaved Brussels Sprouts salad, halibut tacos and pastrami smoked salmon sandwich with a cup of butternut squash soup, I regretted not coming back for dinner to have it all over again.

I kept coming across peasants FEAST and knew my family and I had to add it to our list. They were Michelin recognized in 2024! We decided to check them out for lunch on a Saturday, we showed up right when they opened and got a nice seat outside on their patio. The restaurant slowly started filling up more and more after we got there so glad we arrived when we did! They do not take reservations so it is first come, first served. We ordered the Kids Orecchiette with Butter, Lil McFeast Burger and the Solvang Hot Chicken. We got some drinks on the side as well including the Fresh Squeezed Lemonade which my daughter was obsessed with. I really enjoyed the food - it was fresh and well seasoned throughout. I asked for less spice on my Hot Chicken, but it was still spicy and tasty! Overall, it was a good meal, not my favorite of the trip, but still worth checking out for sure! Service was also spot on and she gave great recommendations! We would definitely give them another shot next time we're in Solvang! I really want to check out the Pastrami Smoked Salmon Sandwich and the Nannie's Frozen Lime Pie next time! Check them out!

The dining area has a great combination of classic American diner and Solvang ambiance that really lives up to the town vibes, and since Solvang was built up in its current form as a "Danish town" in the 1960s, that seems pretty accurate. This is pretty much a go-to stop for me when I'm in the area. Although there is usually a wait, the service is pretty quick. If you don't want to wait they have a convenient takeout window. Plus you can buy an aebelskiver pan and mix here! (Pick up some of the Bestemor's Raspberry Jam while you're there and you also won't regret it)

My coffee was kept full and our waters were always refilled, we were checked in on periodically to make sure everything was ok. I should also add that we had the Abelskeevrrs with ice cream and it was almost a whole meal by itself. If you are in the area this restaurant is a must try, and I can confidently say after eating at the others in the area that this is the best one. - Mr.Narrwahl

The girls working there were attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving despite how busy the place was. What really disappointed us was an interaction with one staff member regarding seating. We understand the policy about not saving tables, and normally that would be completely fine. However, we were next in line to order, there were still plenty of open tables at the time, and we were with 5 kids, a baby, and a senior citizen grandmother. While the parents were ordering, our grandma sat down with the children thinking it would be okay since we had already waited so long and were about to order. Unfortunately, a staff member came over yelling at us and aggressively shooing us away from the table. The way she spoke to our grandmother felt extremely rude and unnecessary. A little kindness and consideration would have gone a long way, especially with children and elderly family members involved. I don't want to make assumptions or turn this into a bigger issue, but the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was disappointing because the food itself was genuinely very good. Hopefully management can address how situations like this are handled in the future, because no customer should feel disrespected while dining with their family.

The food feels thoughtful without trying too hard, and every dish had so much flavor packed into it. The Crispy Pork Belly Sandwich was the standout for me. And somehow the brown butter cashew butter tied everything together in the best way possible. The Wagyu Pastrami Sandwich was just as memorable, rich, juicy, and super satisfying. The Swiss cheese, horseradish cream, sauerkraut aioli, and beef jus all worked so well together without overpowering the wagyu. We also ordered the strawberry lemonade and lavender lemonade, which were both super refreshing and perfect for brunch. And to end the meal, the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely exquisite. Coast Range seemed to check all the boxes, and they had an available reservation on the patio. We got (for us) the perfect table, which was a small area next to the entrance. Actually only our table, which was great for containing our puppy, plus a heat lamp and service over the pony wall which worked out great! We started with delicious cold, crisp martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and a bowl of water for our pup. Our server (Chelsea B?) was so fun and friendly! We then had maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had! I think the lettuce was cut to, but not thru, the base, and opened up, with toppings inside. Roasted beet cubes, bacon, blue cheese and shallots, plus cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg quarters and fried shallots garnish. It was incredible. I think they should call it "More than a Wedge." We also had the Ahi crudo, which had a delicious sauce and thinly sliced peppers. I wasn't too hungry, so had the French onion soup as my main course. So, it definitely didn't taste anything like French onion soup! It looked like it, and it was definitely cooked down onions but the flavor wasn't anything like I'd expect. However, it was really delicious and satisfied my craving for something warm & cheesy. So if you go in knowing that, I think you'll enjoy it. I don't like lamb, so my husband often gets it when we go out. When he took his first bite, I could tell he enjoyed it. He said it was some of the best lamb he's had and he's had a lot! It's à la carte, but did come with a tiny bit of salad and a roasted pepper which he thought was perfect. Since I was having the soup we didn't order a vegetable side, which we normally would, but this vegetable garnish worked perfectly for him. Definitely recommended!
