Loved the outdoor seating and breakfast menu options. I opted for an omelet (spinach and mushroom) with a side of fruit. Covered and smothered is a great way to describe most of the menu. Perfect way to start the morning!

Ice cold brew on tap!! pastrami sand great per husband. Really enjoyed the potato salad too. I loved the Ortega chile roast beef sand. Large pieces of fresh chile. Not canned!! Waitress super friendly helpful with ordering. We sat outside- nice tables but there is inside seating Great place

Servers were inside didn't seem very welcoming. Gave us breakfast menu we had to ask for lunch menus. The pastrami sandwich was underwhelming. Won't go here again. Other customers besides us sat outside.

We had breakfast here. I had beef steak and eggs with fruits and toast. It was delicious. We also had crepes fraises for middle and it was really good. Place is very cozy. Service was great. Street parking available.

Food was decent nothing to brag or boost about. Service was decent they were not busy at all but the waitress only came to take our order, give us our drinks and drop off the food. Never got a chance to get a water refill. Kid drinks don't come with free refills. It was nice to sit by the window and people watch since the street was closed. Came on a Monday morning the Monday before Christmas.

we were a table of 5, there was a wait, we were quoted a wait for about 15mins. the hostess quote was pretty accurate, so thanks!! your basic classic breakfast diner. they have seating inside and out, we opted for inside. the belgian cafe was BUSY! but everyone working were moving with urgency lol!! our food came out pretty quickly and pretty much at the same time. we ordered: Solvang Danish-Style Sausage and Eggs x2 American Tradition waffle with side of eggs and hash brown potatoes (10/10) Crepes Benedict (which i never got my french bread and butter) coffee - decaf and regular small OJ (freshly squeezed) food was okay. highlights for me were the OJ and their has browns. parking: free parking around solvang.

[Food] - Eggs Benedict ($10.95 for half order): I'm so glad they have half orders as I can never finish a whole breakfast dish when it comes with 2 plus sides! I also got a side of avocado to pair with my breakfast to cut the oil and add some creaminess to it. Yum! - Solvang Danish style Sausage & Eggs ($11.50): Chosen with hash browns and toast. Scrambled eggs were cooked well as it was fluffy. Sausage didn't taste any different from what you'd get if you got an American breakfast imo. [Service] - Friendly, attentive, fast [Ambiance] - Cute little place with Danish decor [Overall] - Decent place for brunch for us as it was near our hotel and we were able to walk around after eating

Cute little cafe on the streets of Solvang. It was our first time visiting Solvang and we noticed this Belgian cafe nearby. My friend and I tried their Solvang burger and tuna melt. The tuna melt was so good we got carried away eating it that we forgot to snap a quick photo! 100% recommend the tuna melt! The Solvang burger was good too, it comes with Fries, fruit and grilled onions. Very tasty. We were traveling with my pup Jack and was even able to order a beef patty for the pup. Service was very friendly and kind. The only downside would be the amount of bees outside the cafe. We sat at the patio as our pup was with us and the amount of bees outside was pretty hefty. I did see a few traps but if you have a fear of bees like myself inside seating is a must!

Celebrating our nation's 250th birthday in beautiful Solvang!…read more We ate at Craft House four times during our visit--and for good reason! It is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Solvang. Every meal was exceptional, and the service was consistently outstanding. From the moment we walked in, Daniel welcomed us with a warm smile that made us feel right at home. At our first breakfast, Taylor provided friendly, attentive service that set the tone for the rest of our visits. That evening, we enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, beet & burrata salad, short rib grilled cheese and black tie burger. Every dish was absolutely delicious. On our second breakfast visit, Sandra took wonderful care of us. She is such an asset to Craft House--knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely welcoming. Sophia, who brought out our food several times, always greeted us with the biggest smile. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Lorenzo and Nora were also fantastic servers who helped make every visit memorable. Over four visits, we sampled several different entrées and breakfasts. The avocado toast and chorizo quesadilla were definite standouts, and every meal exceeded our expectations. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Craft House team for your incredible hospitality, exceptional service, and outstanding food. We can't wait to return!

The check-in process was a breeze; we simply shared our party size and dining preferences. Before we knew it, we were seated in about 15 to 20 minutes. Now, let me tell you about the atmosphere. I couldn't help but notice how the staff, dressed in traditional Danish attire, radiated warmth and friendliness while being impressively efficient. For my meal, I went with a Danish pancake accompanied by Danish-style sausage--absolutely divine! I also swapped my eggs for hashbrowns, and wow, these have to be the best hashbrowns I've had in years. My child chose a waffle topped with fluffy whipped cream and a glass of orange juice, which she raved about, claiming it tasted like fresh-squeezed goodness. The portions were more than generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. All in all, it was a delightful brunch experience that I'd gladly recommend!

As we passed by, the enticing menu caught our eyes, especially the children's skirt steak and fries--exactly what I wanted for her! However, I have to admit, the prices were on the higher side, which is typical for this type of restaurant. Still, given what we were paying, I was surprised by the lack of attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness. There was quite a bit of dust on the ledge near our table, which triggered my allergies and led to a couple of sneezes. To add to the disappointment, our rolls arrived well after our entrées. By the time we finally got them, they were cold and a bit hard. When they did reach our table, a server in training accidentally dropped a salt and pepper shaker into our plate of rolls, and surprisingly, didn't seem to think twice about it. On a brighter note, our main server was delightful, and the beef stroganoff was nothing short of heavenly. The meat was incredibly tender, and the mushrooms swimming in red wine sauce were a true highlight. I did find it a bit off-putting to see a surprise 2% surcharge tagged on to cover labor expenses. Honestly, I'd prefer higher menu prices that reflect the actual costs, rather than this nickel-and-dime approach. Employees deserve fair wages, but those extra fees can be frustrating. After all was said and done, my child's meal, my beef stroganoff, and just two rolls--with tax, a tip, and that extra charge--brought our total to just under $100. When I asked to take my leftovers home, I was handed a container to pack it all myself. Maybe it's just me, but when I'm spending that kind of money, I expect a bit more attentive service.
