Thanks to my Yelp friends Sharlette and T S, we decided to come here…read more We went on the evening of April 1 and this was no April fools joke the food was legit. We got there a little late since they started at 5 and we got there at 7, but had time to go into recon mode and scout out what we wanted. As usual my wife and son broke off and made other choices...and as usual after they had a bite of mine they kicked themselves for not getting what I chose. My wife got something from the "healthy" truck, my son chose Wise Barbecue and I decided on Kim Bob Rex Sushi - Burrito truck and after so many choices decided on the Mighty Eel burrito. I probably should have taken a better picture of the menu to tell you everything in it, but two pieces of Eel I remember and I believe snow crab surrounded by rice and it seemed like a soy paper burrito wrap. Whatever was in it besides that was just a little slice of delicious and I enjoyed every last bite. There are shared tables here at this and the woman across said she had gotten the Big Fat Alaskan Sushi Burrito with salmon and avocado and she really enjoyed it. Like me, first time eating a sushi burrito. After we finished we made our way to the La Donut truck for dessert. We split a glazed donut with coffee ice cream and Nutter-Butter cookies on it. The nice woman on the truck when asked said they make their donuts fresh daily and it was a big hit. I would highly recommend coming here and getting out of your comfort zone of being enclosed in four walls to eat good food.

Bring your jackets and warm hat because it's freezing out here. I could go in my truck but that's no fun, just the smell of all the different flavors of food cooking, is worth sitting outside freezing your butt off. Every week they rotate trucks, if you want to know whether or not your favorite truck will be out here, just follow them on Instagram. Most of them do accept credit cards but, bring cash just in case. Bring your doggies, there's treats and water for them too. Lol (where do you find that but in Santa Clarita) Lol Food truck prices $10-$15 a plate pretty reasonable. Stop by on Saturdays, you won't be disappointed.

We love discovering new vendors, and we already have a few go-to favorites. Right next to the food trucks is a small farmers market too, which is a great bonus. They have a really nice selection of fresh fruits and different vendors selling all kinds of unique items. Overall, it's a perfect little community activity -- great food, relaxed vibe, and a fun way to support local small businesses and vendors. We always enjoy coming here!

Services is great though there is not actual tables to sit at and enjoy your food. So you can sit on the sidewalks of the businesses around there. Everyone is friendly and you can tell people enjoy going to get there food there in a Friday night. Most of the vendors take all forms of payment. The streets are clean and there are plenty trash cans to keep the area clean after you eat. Def. Going back for more!

Xiome, the owner, created a kid-friendly business with really fun and elaborate RC tracks that is so easy to race even as a first timer. I had the best afternoon here with my friends as we raced around the track and conquered the obstacles on the car track. We then went to the food truck and had THE BEST Colombian food on earth. The steak skewer and cheese empanadas were my favorite. They were made with such intricate spices and the empanada made a beautiful cheese pull when we broke it in half to share. Every arepa variety on the menu was delightful as well, and such a unique addition to Simi Valley. There are also burger options for those craving a more All-American food experience. Whether you're in the mood for RC racing, delicious Colombian food, or both, Off Road is an absolute must try - with the added perk of supporting a small business when you come here as well! HIGHLY recommend. DELICIOUS, FUN, and the staff here is so incredibly kind.

There are also cameras on the track so you can watch the action on the monitor too. Conveniently right in the same lot is a food truck here that serves what they call wheels, which are like sandwiches or burgers but the buns reminds me of pupusas or fry bread. They said it's actually white corn and gluten free. Fun activity and the kids can't wait to go back. Nice and unique local place in Simi. Good throwback music too.
