I stopped into Leo's for a slice. The people working were very nice and welcoming. I ordered a slice of the meat lovers. I have to say that the slice was nothing special. It was fine but not much in flavor. I did appreciate the crust which was a thicker crust. They did have a full menu that I would like to try as some of it looked tasty and priced appropriately. I spent hours on Reddit, Yelp, and Google researching some of the best pizza places in the Narragansett area. Leo's was a constant on all forums. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, however, I feel it's necessary to inform anyone else using the same mediums to make decisions on what pizza places to spend your money at, Leo's left us disappointed. Pricing was a little high, $65 for 2 large and a small pizza. Not insane, but when you see the size of the pizzas you may be surprised. One of our pizzas was messed up, and had a topping we didn't order. Not a big deal but adds to the disappointment. Customer service wasn't phenomenal. And most of all the pizza just wasn't great quality. As a matter of fact, one of my group members even thought the pizza was a frozen reheated pizza before we told them it was from Leo's. Here's some of the reasons why the pizza wasn't desirable: - Floppy undercarriage - Cheese fell off constantly - Pepperoni was undercooked - Lacked flavor Otherwise, the Greek pizza was better than any other pizza we ordered, however, was really just a little above average. read more

Another stop on my South County Pizza excursion on a sunny Saturday. We stopped in here, probably about 5:15. We opted to eat in partly because I saw a pinball machine but also as we saw they had beer. As it turns out they only had Bud products and nothing else, so we got sodas instead. I got a slice of Roni and then a slice of their BBQ chicken pizza too. If you've heard that commercial, is it delivery or is it D'Gornos, then it might be Leo's. I've ordered grinders from here a few times, and they were good. I'm not a raving fan of the pizza. (Admittedly, I haven't sampled many.). They offer a classic New England pizza shop pizza. The cheese pizza was good. I ordered a margarita pizza. Shame on me for not reading the menu more carefully. It was dominated by tomato sauce. Yes there was mozzarella and fresh basil - but the sauce overwhelmed this pizza. The salad was decent - straight forward garden salad. If you're close, it may be worth a try. read more

I'm not sure that right now is the time for me to be writing a review since I've been feeling quite sick since having their burger for dinner. The burgers are actually double burgers but they are frozen patties that they cook up. I would stick to the pizza, chicken tenders with honey mustard and their fries or tater tots. Their snack crusts are also quite popular albeit very oily. The sauce they serve with the crusts has a good flavor which leads me to believe that the pasta would be good as well. Definitely wouldn't recommend a burger unless you enjoy food reappearing after you've eaten it. read more

We were buying for a last-night dinner at the beach for 12 people, and Leo's filled the bill and plenty of bellies! Some thought the crust too soft, some thought the sauce a bit too sweet, but when it was said and done there was nothing left! I ordered a Greek salad and I was not disappointed! Everything was fresh and the salad was huge. The crumbled feta was amazing and the salami was a bonus. On a hot summer day, the salad was a perfect choice and I don't think I could make a better Greek salad for the price. They used banana peppers, which melded perfectly with the salad. Never order from this place if you have food allergies. I explained that I was allergic (anaphylaxis shock) to eggs and stated numerous times not put Mayo on my sandwich. So is it the greatest, No, is it really really good, you bet. Sorry, I am and Chicago Pizza guy, but that does not mean I don't like or appreciate a slice no matter where it is comes from. One of the great things about RI is that there are more pizza joint and hair salons than anyone could imagine. But the pizza is always just a little different and unique. Sometimes it is a bad thing, but more often than not, it is a good thing. Well we popped into Leo's really because it was beside Brickley's. Luck for us. Leo was in the house flinging the pie's and doing a super job. He was engaging the customers and providing a great back story. The family and I decided to get a 'deluxe stuffed.' We were going to do the ice cream thing so we got a small. This thing was big enough to feed three adults. So this is not a calzone, it is bigger. It is a pizza with twice the toppings and an upper crust. It was great, and the flavor was fantastic. So I am a Kingston Pizza fan, and there is one just down the road. Leo's kind of blends in with the strip mall where it is located so you might miss it all together. But it is just to the right of Brickley's. Do yourself a favor and stop in. We were looking for good pizza while on vacation and read the reviews here on Yelp. They were def right about this place!! Pizza was great and lots of options. And my husband is very picky about his pizza!! Kids servings were huge. They forgot to serve us our fries, so when we asked about them, they gave them to us for free. Everything was reasonably priced. This place is great for families - our 2 small kids loved playing in the kids corner. This place was busy for a Wednesday night - which I actually took as a good sign. The only negative thing is that this place was clearly understaffed. Based on other Yelp reviews, my family and I decided to choose Leo's as the best option for our dinner for our last night in Narragansett. At first, we were greeted with a nice family ambiance, but soon fell disappointed when other patrons continuously disrupted our dinner. The food was adequate and is priced fairly. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable until we went to pay our bill. The rowdiness from the family in the restaurant was encouraged by the staff behind the counter, seemingly making it out to be a free for all. My family and I were annoyed by this, and had spoken with the staff about it and they considered it to be our problem. Leos always had the best pizza at reasonable prices. The past (3) deliveries have been awful. About three months ago I saw the driver drop my pizza so when we opened the box all the toppings were on one side of the box. Last night we ordered extra cheese and double pineapple. Well done! Delivered pizza is never too good, but this may be a new low. The pizza arrived a soggy, oily, mess. The crust tasted like a wet sponge. We threw it out. The problem is that the pizza hustlers here cater to a University of Rhode Island crowd. That's not exactly a gourmet, discerning, customer base. There's a quick, easy fix that these pizza clowns don't get, i.e. brush the bottom and the top of the crust with either beaten egg, or egg whites. Bake for a minute or two. Then add the toppings and bake again. The egg wash seals the crust from the toppings soaking through to the bottom. We also ordered plain wings which were bready, spongy, and inedible. I preheated my oven to 400, and put the wings in on a cookie sheet spread with olive oil. I left them in for about ten minutes. That crisped them up. They still weren't very good as they had been deep fried previously. At least they were edible. My advice is to avoid pizza here, or anywhere else. Rhode Island is full of hack pizzerias, and this is just another one. read more

Absolute horrible service. Placed an order for pizzas to be delivered right down the road. Told them we would be paying cash. When we realized we didn't have enough cash to pay and tip the delivery driver, we immediately called back (3 minutes later) to say we would like to give a card number instead. I gave the card number, and even verified that this card number was gong to this address. The delivery man came, and had no slip for me to sign. He looked like he had no idea we called to use a card. We told them we paid with a card and gave him cash as a tip. About 10 minutes later, Leo's calls us back saying that they didn't have our card information and needed it again. come to find out, the idiot working the phone put the card information under a different address, even AFTER I VERIFIED IT! They had the audacity to tell me that they under charged me because they were "so busy at the time" and needed my card information again to charge more. Their mistake, not mine... and they have the AUDACITY to call and ask for more money, AND with an attitude? I cannot believe how rude both the man and woman on the other line were. I am appalled at the costumer service. Unbelievable. do not spend your money on this shitty, over priced pizza. read more
