Shitty, never has what I want. Sorry excuse and waste of time with delivery bringing wrong order

This review is based only on the take out service. We ordered through grub hub and expected the food to get there in 45-50 min. After several calls with the place we learned that for some reason the food had not gone out yet or it seems was even made, but they had gotten the order? After two hours from the initial order time, we just canceled and got a sandwich down the street. Thankfully, we had elected to pay with cash, so I didn't have to deal with getting a refund, but it still was a big inconvenience for the night. read more

This is the best, quick Mexican food. The tortillas are amazing. The flavors are consistently on point. The homemade salsas are perfect. Don't come here for the ambiance, come here for incredible Mexican food. read more

Delivery was supposed to be here in 30 min and it never showed up . The restaurant was zero help over the phone and just told me 20 min it'll come and hung up. Also another weird thing is they answer the phone super informal. It's as if I called a normal cell phone of a random person because they just said "yeah hello?" Delivery time was accurate. Food was good. Quesadilla was very unique, maybe had pineapple in it? Tacos were good. There are a lot of reviews about burrito not being good- maybe bc the wax paper is hard to see and people might be eating the wax paper. read more

Food here is GOOOOOOOOD. Ordered delivery, food got there within the projected delivery time, nothing was out of place, the only bad thing--got charged for $1 of sour cream that wasn't delivered BUT no biggie. I had the flautas, 5 big and delicious ones for $9 STEAL! Will definitely order again. read more

Came in for the first time. Tacos authentic and amazing. Had chicken, carnitas, and steak - all flavorful. I will be back.

So I usually give restaurants several chances before making a decision. And I've ordered from this place 8times . Each experience worse then the last .. But I continued to do so because it wasn't as bad as this final time. I should say the taste is great. But the customer service is horrible . #1 the food always arrives cold . #2 the delivery guys usually beg for tips / and never know where they are going . #3 the never package the food right and it gets here on bad shape this time being the worst . I ordered the Enchiladas Poblanas on Eat24. This was the best mole poblano I've had outside of Mexico City - I've been searching for that ever since I went to the DF in 2008 both in DC and NYC. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with parm and Portobello mushrooms. Oops no mushrooms so settled for eggplant. Yipes! What i got was a stale roll, not toasted, with a touch piece of chicken, some cheese like coating and some inedible pieces of some unidentifiable hard eggplant(?) Pieces. I couldn't eat it for $9 or any price. 2 slices of regular pizza were good. Exactly what i expected. I will NEVER EVER try anything but the pizza here. Who's to blame? Nothing exceptional about the place but I am super surprised by their speed food got to me in about 25 minutes at 1 am. Shrimp tacos were nothing more than skimpy came with only onions and cilantro. the rice in the vegetarian tacos were as I expected mediocre at best. I ordered for the first time through ubereats and was not disappointed. $5 for guacamole and nachos was a decent size for one person or even 2 splitting it. Won't fill you up alone but good as a snack. I ordered posole which is like hominy soup with pork, very yummy and well seasoned for $9. Plus it brought a side of cut up onion, cilantro, lemon and chili powder. It also brought 2 tostadas not the best but worked. I want to mention the nachos and tostadas were really fried not the bagged kinds. Posole was decent size and could possibly even be split for 2 people. I wish it brought more hominy but despite that it was really good. Will definitely order again! I ordered picaditas for my daughter, the order brings 3 and they were the cutest things ever. We got bistec picaditas with beans, cheese, sour cream and steak. I also ordered enchiladas verdes and didn't love them. They were okay, order brought 3 and they weren't spicy. I like that they were topped off with sour cream, lettuce, tomato and avocado slices. Wish i had taken pictures of everything but was pretty hungry and the posole was very good. Food is great. Delivery was fine. I guess it's hit or miss with delivery but my experience was ok. You can't really expect MUCH near closing it's kinda rude to order near closing but a lot of people don't care and are inconsiderate. Also should keep weather in mind...I would definitely recommend this place but seems like the burritos are a bad choice from what other have said. I had bistec a la Mexicana and caldo de pollo. Amazing piña coladas and great food. We especially enjoyed the nachos. Outdoor dining was enjoyable despite being on busy Knickerbocker.

I've only ordered delivery from Leo's which is so quick it makes you wonder if it was already made but once you taste the food you realize it's hot and fresh. The guacamole is excellent as are the vegetarian tacos. My wife raves about the carnitas and pico de gallo (though sometimes it seems to have a little too much jalapeño for me) and insists that we never order Mexican food from anywhere else. read more

Yelp let me down big time. I hate to put down a small business as I have one myself, and I know how important reviews are. But at some point you just have to be honest about your experience. The two stars is generous for the food itself but I rounded up because the cashier was decently nice. Basically, I'm not sure what people are smoking. I got a burrito here, al pastor per the cashier's recommendation, at about 2am on a Saturday. It was enormous, which I was elated about, but it was also wrapped weirdly and cut in half like a wrap. That was the first indicator that something was amiss. Who cuts a burrito in half? Then I picked up my burrito half (??), looked inside of it, and realized it was literally 90 percent rice. For $10 that was a slap in the face. The thing ain't cheap, so don't try to pull one over on the customer by putting a shit ton of rice on a large tortilla. It's honestly insulting. Now, if the rice were amazing, it would be a bit different. But everything, including the rice, was incredibly bland. I felt like I was at a nursing home where they try to keep th sodium down for old people with health issues. When I finally encountered some meat and other fillings, I could barely differentiate anything. It's like they ran out of salt or don't understand the basics of cooking. You put salt on everything, and if you don't, it'll be bland as f**k. That's not to say anything about Mexican spices and techniques which weren't reflected at all. I didn't finish the burrito, because at a certain point--while it was all falling apart in my hands, mind you--I couldn't muster the courage to eat gastronomic cement. I really hope this was just a fluke but I doubt it. Maybe they got a new owner or cook since the other yelp reviews were posted, but either way they need to take a serious look at the food they're serving--and fix it--or just close. read more

Talk about a late night life-saver. A friend brought me here on a late night and we had the most delicious tacos. It's a small place but packed with flavor and felt pretty authentic. Could use an update on the interior but honestly who am I to judge? Good choice. read more

I made a late night order, nothing else was really open so I figured I'd try this place out. Wow, just wow.. I am so happy I did! I got the chicken quesadilla which was so big AND so good, I could only eat half, saved the rest for the next day! I also got their guac and chips, again, so so good. Tacos are super fresh and authentic. A plethora of different meat options. Served in the proper corn tortillas. Chorizo taco is my favorite. The only negative is that the delivery minimum on Eat 24 is too high. I would definitely order from Leo's a lot more if they brought that down. read more

Got them past midnight and they delivered 10 minutes early! Taco al pastor regular price $2.50 was so good! Has pineapple I believe was great. Burrito Carnitas was amazing it also had a fruity taste and contained a lot of the ingredients like carrots used to make it. At first I thought $9 was a bit high but this softened that a bit. Don't know what the other burritos are like but everything I had was amazing and they delivered quick on a week night. read more

Just noticed that this restaurant was added to delivery.com for delivery in my area so I ordered some tacos and a lengua picadita. I have a feeling they might have gotten my tacos mixed up, but overall they were pretty good, and you can't beat the $1 tacos. The lengua was good, the buche was nice and crispy. I'm from California and the one thing I miss most about the west coast is how readily available authentic Mexican food is. I've been disappointed by so many New York taquerias I'd pretty much given up hope of finding a solid street taco until I came to Leo's one late night. I had the tacos del pollo and carnitas. The only critique i have is that I think it's weird to cube the carnitas instead of shredding it but otherwise the flavor was solid and the price was bearable. read more

The place is ok. One of the only late night delivery options in Williamsburg. Very average. Worth getting if you're hungry late night.
