Stayed here for Coachella! The property was soo cute and the staff were super nice! The room was really spacious and was serviced everyday. They also had free breakfast every morning! Sadly we were so busy and weren't able to swim or lounge by the pool!

We visited Palm Springs for an extended weekend in late June. The property has a very unassuming entrance door, but once inside, you feel instantly comfortable. We had spoken with Daniella and Rich a couple of times prior to arriving to go over the two room categories. Daniella checked us in and was just as delightful in person; she gave us a warm welcome, walked us around the pool area, and led us to our room. The grounds are kept spotless, including the pool and loungers. The decor is super cool with its pink theme, featuring matching accents on the lounge chairs and even the pool towels. We chose a "comfortable" room category, which was clean and a refreshing escape from the desert heat. The bathroom was a bit retro but very functional. The bed was amazing, sturdy and super comfortable, and we crashed hard after a long day of travel. The room itself was spacious, and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs, complete with a full-size refrigerator and a breakfast bar where we could comfortably check emails. For breakfast, the fresh, hot croissants, coffee, oatmeal, and yogurt were excellent. We met Rich on our first night, who works until the registration office closes at 9 PM. He has worked at Les Cactus for many years, and his knowledge of the property and local food suggestions were spot on. The employees are very respectful and always seemed to be cleaning, restocking water and towels, or clearing debris from the pool when they weren't greeting us. While we had heard rumors that the owner wasn't the most pleasant person, we never met him, and he certainly made the right choice in hiring Daniella and Rich. Overall, I highly recommend Les Cactus. It is truly an oasis in the desert.

Mini reflection retreat mode: ON Found this hidden gem through TikTok and wow -- it did not disappoint Super cute, private, and oh-so-Instagrammable with cozy corners to read, chill, and unwind. Heated pool? Mini kitchen in the room? Affordable & aesthetic? Double Bonus: I unintentionally matched the vibe perfectly Staff were the sweetest and they even had continental breakfast included Already plotting my next girls' trip back here ‍ #RetreatVibes #HiddenGem #AestheticStay #GirlsTripLoading #MiniGetaway

My husband and I recently just stayed with Les Cactus! What a hidden gem this boutique hotel is! It's absolutely charming, so chic & the staff has impeccable customer service skills, this is what people expect of the big names and don't receive it. We have found a new favorite place to stay in Palm Springs. The Saltwater pool was amazing for the skin! They were more than accommodating & everything was so clean. 10/10

This was absolutely the cutest little hotel I've stayed in. I loved all the pink! Pink towels, pink napkins. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Our room (I think I booked just the basic room) was spacious and the bed was super comfy. The property was quiet and not crowded and it was a great place to just sit and relax. Parking is free and they also include a little breakfast basket for you in the morning. Keep in mind this hotel is 21+ only. The area also felt very safe and it's close to the residential area. Every staff I interacted with was also very friendly. I would definitely come back one day! Great place for a couples getaway or a weekend away with the girls.

This gorgeous place is truly perfect in every way. I am so grateful to have found it. I had not been to Palm Springs in 30 years! I realize how subjective any lodging experience can be, so I will share some highlights that would instantly help me make the decision to stay here, were I the one reading this. The standard of cleanliness is very high, which is a BIG deal for me. Details are important at Les Cactus. The rooms are pristine. I was able to be shoes-free and my feet stayed as clean as they do at home. The bedding and towels are cotton, and the detergent is either fragrance-free, or rinses away so well that it might as well be. No fragrances are used in the rooms (THANK YOU!). There is no carpet in the rooms, apart from one rug (under the bed) that is well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, open, bright, well-lit, absolutely lovely, and as air-conditioned as you desire them to be, which is adjustable via remote (in my room the remote was hand-held, but I think the one in my friend's room was located on the wall). You can also turn off the A/C, or merely use it in fan mode if it gets too chilly. The grounds are immaculate. The aesthetic is inviting, delightful, and impeccable. You will find a large pool, hot tub (the jets feel fantastic; you may ask for them to be turned on), a few hammocks, numerous green plants, colorful flowers, trees, cacti, hummingbirds, butterflies, and heart-opening views from the sweet little deck upstairs. Whether rain or shine, I loved every moment. If you are looking for a stay wherein meditative states are possible without even trying, this is one such place. The people who work here are warm, kind, and wonderful: Daniela, Richard, and Andy are all spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about Les Cactus. Everything about this treasure of a place made me want to remain there and never leave. Every day, I extended my stay, "Just one more day." I wish I could have stayed for a month (or a year!). If I move to Palm Springs, it will be largely thanks to the experience of staying here. Thank you so very much for everything. I felt such a natural sense of peace, ease, happiness, and joy, and also got very good rest. I cannot wait to return. What a gift. Thank you, thank you, thank you. * * * ADDITIONAL NOTES * * * There are only two or three items I would change or improve if I could. Given the overwhelmingly (((POSITIVE))) experience I had here (for five nights, split into one and four-night stays), these do NOT warrant a decrease in my overall rating. 1. The water pressure in the shower, which in my room was very low, could be better. This is not uncommon at even the best hotels and Airbnbs. Luckily, I currently have a shaved head, so it was doable. 2. I did at times wish the pool and jacuzzi were open until 10pm. However, 7am to 9pm is not bad, and you can still be outside enjoying the evening after hours. The extra hour or pool and hot tub use at night would be welcome. 3. My friend also stayed here (in another unit), and has back trouble. For her, the bed was much too soft, so she tried to sleep on the floor using the provided yoga mat (another added in-room bonus, by the way), but for her, this one detail was sub-optimal. I, too, at times, find soft mattresses/bedding painful. At home, for the last decade, I have slept on a four-inch trifold pad, placed directly on the floor, and it is the perfect balance between soft and firm (zero pain). For whatever reason, the bed at Les Cactus did NOT cause a problem for me (while the Airbnb I lived in for 31 days prior to arriving there definitely DID, and it was a miserable experience at times). I certainly would not mind a bit more firmness for the mattresses at Les Cactus, but as of August 2025, I had no issue in terms of comfort: my sleep and rest were not disturbed, and I had no pain upon rising.

Cute retro rooms; comfortable beds; delicious coffee and breakfast; excellent service and a dreamy pool and overall vibe.

Hospitality and customer service were excellent! The vibe was peaceful on the property.

Cute boutique hotel in Palm Springs! I chose Les Cactus over other hotels because of the size- it is a much smaller property perfect for couples or small groups of friends. Location Of course the weekend I went was a HEATWAVE (110+ degrees) so there was no way I was biking around but nice to know they had bikes available. Downtown Palm Springs is definitely bikeable if nicer weather, but also fine to drive around and park easily. There are easily marked spots for Les Cactus around the property and they give you a parking pass when you check in. I read another review that had said they wished the parking was gated however I thought the neighborhood was incredibly safe- there are only other boutique hotels and residential housing. Accommodation The petite room was exactly as described- clean, comfortable bed, with air conditioning that worked really well (not noisy or smelly) and the wifi worked well throughout the property. I wish I had brought an HDMI cord to hook the TV up to my laptop! The shower water pressure is high, had hot water and the toiletries provided were fine. I liked the breakfast that was provided in the morning- one day it was croissants, and the other day bagels with fruit, yogurt etc. The water from the water filter tasted fine too- nice and cold. The pool was definitely refreshing with misters around some of the chair sitting area. They have a cute "hidden" rooftop area for pictures! Service I had late night check in and had no problem getting to the room/entering late. The check-in in the morning was easy, and there seemed to be many staff working even though Les Cactus is a smaller hotel. Overall, I would definitely recommend Les Cactus to others visiting Palm Springs! At $150 a night with taxes/fees, it is a more afforable hotel with a very cute vibe

Incredible stay at this beautiful, loved, well taken care of hotel. You can tell the staff and the owners really invest time and energy into making this place peaceful, immaculately landscaped and cleaned, and cared for. We are now going to be loyal guests - thank you Les Cactus!

From the moment we arrived, though, La Serena Villas made us feel completely at ease. The customer service was truly impeccable from check-in to check-out. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to work with. When we arrived, we were immediately offered a prickly pear champagne beverage. After I mentioned that I'm allergic to alcohol, the staff instantly offered me a lavender lemonade instead without missing a beat. I'm usually not a fan of lavender-flavored drinks at all, but this one was so surprisingly delicious that when I checked out, I actually asked if they sold it. They don't, unfortunately, but they were kind enough to offer me another glass as a parting gift, which was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly captured the level of care and hospitality throughout our stay. The villas themselves were amazing. Everything was pristine, beautifully maintained, and spotless. The overall vibe of the property was quiet, peaceful, and deeply relaxing, which made it feel like a true escape. I genuinely enjoyed every moment I was there and am already looking forward to booking my next stay. The property is small but quite nice. Pool is kinda crammed in there, with fewer chairs than guests should the hotel be sold out, and it's right in front of the restaurant, putting your swimsuit ass on display for anyone looking to dine. But there is a spa past the "guests only" sign, away from the pool, so that's at least an option. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Reminded me of a casita. Shower is huge and has great pressure. Pocket doors all around, nice. Hot tub in back is killer and having a fire pit next to it makes the backyard lounging even more inviting on a crisp night. Free breakfast is full of solid choices. Not-free food and drinks are good but, holy hell, is it overpriced. I hate that we're at a place where drinks are $20 on average for alcohol that hasn't been getting more expensive. I just drink less so good for me, I suppose? I got a surf & turf for $55 and it was flank steak and about 15% of it was fat. It came with three shrimp. Sad. Excellent service. Everyone was polite, accommodating, pleasant. No complaints there at all.

I grew up in San Diego and we had a second house in Indian Wells so I used to come out to this area often growing up and it's good to be back in a comfortable setting. I would say that the Ritz Carlton is probably the best hotel in the Coachella Valley given that there are very few other five star options. It's located in Rancho Mirage pretty much right in between Palm Springs and Palm Desert. It's located on the top of a large hill so it has great views of the valley. They have a steakhouse on site called The Edge, which has it selling feature being these views and the great steak. The hotel is not extremely large. It only is three floors, but it's a perfect size in that it doesn't seem too large or too busy ever. We chose the club lounge which allowed us to have free food and drink pretty much all day and they did a great job with adding new options to the menu. There is not an on-site parking lot so it will be valet parking only. Originally opened in 1988 and then reopened again in 2014 after a major renovation this place has been a staple of the desert for decades. The one strange issue we had is that we when we checked in we found adult sex toys in our bedside cabinet drawer, which was extremely odd for a Ritz Carlton so I would suggest that the cleaning crew check for these things but luckily we were a couple of adults without kids so it wasn't an issue just odd. The rooms themselves are well done and large with a full tub and shower and comfortable beds. Room service is also really good and the whole resort really lives up to the Ritz Carlton standard. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting the desert and I will be back again in the future.

SERIOUSLY help that horrid property out. Here at Ritz Rancho Mirage from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by all the wonderful valet men at the driveway. Bright happy smiles. Checking in was a breeze, with smiles, excellent customer service, and a super quick process. As we walked through the hallway towards the elevators, we were greeted by several staff members who said hello to us. Every employee we encountered at the property seemed to enjoy their job. It was such a wonderful day to see the Ritz Carlton stuffies for kids, three different options. Our kids chose the ram. Our family is known for collecting all the Ritz Carlton memorabilia and visiting all the properties around the world. So for this property to have three stuffies was a surprise The sweet, friendly young woman at the front desk showed them all the options, they could choose from. Our Family really loved our room. We again booked two connecting rooms. A double bedroom comes with a couch and is very spacious. The king bed also came with a little couch. The first floor had a very unique vibe that we all liked. The decoration of the Crystal lights was very cool. The bathrooms were all looking like they had a complete renovation. Big huge bathtubs for our little toddler to swim in his bubble bath in. Housekeeping staff I give them a 10! Phenomenal job all you amazing ladies and gents working in housekeeping. All of them were friendly, checked on us, offered more towels. Our room was serviced EVERY time we came back to the room, clean, spotless. Not like the disgusting Ritz Half Moon bay. The housekeeping crew here all were on top of their duties with great smiles and attitudes. We happily will be bringing more cash for them next time. Very hard workers. I appreciated all of you guys in housekeeping. The family pool was amazing! It was not overcrowded and it was clean, all the music playing was completely perfect for families. They keep the area very clean and the staff was always checking in on us to see like to order anything else or needed anything. The service at the Pool side is five star! The view from the property is spectacular! My family really was surprised at night that there was a star watch around the pool. We were able to see through the huge telescopes two distant stars. What a great treat. We all did enjoy the shops there at the resort. They had a great attire for the entire family. Dad found a wonderful shirt and our toddler found the cutest swim shorts. We don't like to do so far. This one is the best Ritz in terms of on site shopping. Overall, our family had a five star one experience at this property. So wonderful that I am very sure we will be booking more visits through the year.I cannot tell you enough how nice, accommodating and friendly staff is here at the property. If you have fur babies go ahead and bring them along ..this property is dog friendly! Our two Frenchies really enjoyed their time here.. being spoiled by the staff. They give water bowls and dog treats. There are many dogs in the property during our visit. Each of them were also happy to be able to socialize with their families as we could tell. Especially when faced with the lack of cleanliness in the restroom, if our bathtub could be so apparently dirty, what else could they have missed? Shops, restaurants, museums and other sights are all within easy walking distance. It's even directly across from the Forever Marilyn statue. We've stayed at several IHG properties before, and when we choose one, it's usually an InterCon rather than a Kimpton. So this was our first time staying at a Kimpton. I had wanted to try one as an Ambassador before Kimpton was removed from the eligible hotel list, but we finally got our chance. Perhaps because it's Palm Springs, the hotel feels small, or maybe it really is small. I'll admit I don't know much about art, but walking around almost felt like being inside a mini museum. I really liked the styling. It made the place feel warm, welcoming and full of character, rather than another bland corporate hotel to spend the night. Our room was upgraded to a mountain/valley view with a balcony. The beds and pillows may not be the best we've experienced, but they were comfortable enough that staying in bed all day sounded very tempting, especially with the hellish Palm Springs summer outside. Unfortunately, the heat defeated our plans to try the rooftop pool. We ended up retreating to the cool and comfortable room instead. Perhaps next time around, preferably when Palm Springs isn't trying to roast us alive. My wife and kids absolutely loved the robes. The texture gave them a nice touch of comfortable luxury. The bathroom design, though, still had me scratching my head. The shower and toilet were basically in clear view of each other. LOL. Not a deal breaker at all, just an interesting design choice. The front desk staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. My apologies for not remembering any names since my brain was already cooked by the heat, but Kudos to everyone. They also gave us a 1:00pm late checkout on a Saturday, which we really appreciated. All in all, we really enjoyed our first stay at a/the Kimpton Rowan. We would definitely come back.

(Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

While looking for a hotel to stay during my weekend getaway Rendezvous stood out because there a…read morelot of amenities with no resort fees! That was the biggest plus. There are 10 rooms available and each one is a different theme in the 1950s. I stayed for two nights in the Crooners room and I enjoyed my stay a lot. When I arrived, Tim, the inn keeper assisted me with my room keys and showing me around the property. My room was decorated with the Rat Pack and I loved it. All rooms are a maximum of two people with a hot tub, refrigerator with water, microwave, and coffee maker, air conditioning, and DVD player. If you'd like, bring a DVD and popcorn to enjoy during your stay. The bed was pretty comfortable. There were more than enough pillows which I'm guilty of using more than one pillow while I sleep. I love how the comforter was linen on the outside, but cozy and warm on the inside. The Crooners room has two sinks, but I only used one. There is happy hour everyday at 5pm by the pool or communal area with snacks and beer or wine. During my stay there were chips and salsa and the following day was veggies with dip, with of course a drink of choice. Really nice touch added to my stay. It's been a while since I have stayed in a bed and breakfast and I love the homeyness here. Breakfast is served in the communal dining area with hand sanitizer provided. The three-course breakfast starts with a fruit smoothie, a fruit parfait and a hot breakfast. For breakfast they served blueberry pancakes with sausage and the following day it was quiche with artichoke hearts and potatoes. I loved the service here so much. You sit at a table and they serve the food to you. The pool is open 24 hours will pool floaties available to use as well. Another thing I like about this place is that because there aren't many people (max 40 people at a time) it is highly likely you will get the pool to yourself. When I checked out and left the property I told my husband I would enjoy staying here again. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend you stay here too.
