This is consistently the worst nail salon in Bowie. I've lived nearby for years and I have dropped in occasionally in a rush. I just wasted $45 good American dollars today. The place is filthy. The person who started on my nails today wore a thoroughly stained top. Her nails were packed with dirt (not polish). I was surprised at how unkempt she was. The sanitation containers were decorative. She pulled her tools from her apron. Her work was sloppy. She couldn't get the shapes even or correct. Finally, the person who appeared to be the lead came to take over. She told and showed the 1st one the shape I requested. I went to the 2nd person's station. She rushed through creating 10 vastly different, uneven shapes even after adding new powder on top of polish. Who does that? The 2nd person tried 2 coats on top of a clear coat then a freestyle nail, a short time under the lamps and then dropped the gooey, sandy scrub in my palm and told me to wash my hands. Of course my gel nails streaked and smeared. The nails are the worst I have had in my entire life!! Worst ever!! Even after acknowledging that the polish had streaked, my nails were uneven, polish is on my skin and that I am dissatisfied, she asked for $45. That's a lack of pride. It is also arrogant. The least she could have said is offer to redo the whole shebang the next day or something. With the low ratings here, my observations and experience are consistent. I think the location in Bowie on the back side of the Town Central is the only reason this place is open. However, a nice salon that serves the local clientele properly, with professionalism and cleanliness are in order. Do not patronize this business and waste your money. I wasn't going to write about my experience at this establishment but after what just happened stay away! I got a gel pedicure there yesterday and the service was terrible. Ok it's whatever, the lady finishes with my toes and most of the paint and pretty much all my toes I'd see through, meaning she didn't do a thorough job. I tell her and another lady come out and "redos" my polish. As she's filing my nail, the entire paint comes off the nail in one piece! She redoes it of course. I pay $57 and leave! Figured I would give Le's a chance, since I pass by it pretty often and the other nail salons in Bowie Town Center were too crowded. Wrong idea!! Never again!! Please don't waste your time on this establishment. Extremely poor customer service! There was one tech in the front servicing a client and two other "staff" walking around in the back near the pedi chairs. I was basically ignored when I asked the price for dip powder. In return, I received some mumbling, maybe " I'll have to see your nails" not too sure because..again, very mumbled. I stood there for 3-5 minutes waiting for a price list or even someone else to actually welcome me..didn't happen. Guess that was asking for too much. I kindly took my business to Inspire Nail Bar next to the Dollar Tree. I'd rather wait for good service than wait for below average treatment. Manicure was painful (left my left pinky cuticle bleeding), asked for almond shape, result was oval and bulky. Left a $25 cash tip mostly for the woman who did my pedicure but not sure how it would be divided up between the two ladies who did my nails altogether. Would probably not go back. (Also saw a roach while getting my pedicure and tools are not fresh from packets, drill that was used on my manicure was caked with residue from previous uses. Did not receive receipt.) read more

What can I say about this place? It's such a good vibe and welcoming place! I've been coming here about 6-7 months and I've had nothing but good experiences/top service. The nail techs , Victoria, Lily and Mimi are phenomenal. I usually get a gel manicure and pedicure and I always leave satisfied. My nails usually last about 2-2.5 weeks without any chip. I'm sure they'd last longer but my nails grow fast. They have the latest colors that I love trying out every visit. Hers was 40. When pointed out there was nail polish all over my toes and my toe nails were sharp and not straight the lady started yelling at me saying it is my fault and I should've been watching her. I should not have to watch someone do their job. Refused to give me a refund. UPDATE: I got toenail fungus from this salon!!!!!!!!! I got my pedicure from this salon and according to my doctor it is because of the pedicure I received. My doctor asked me if they used the plastic liners in the foot basin for pedicures and I said no. She asked me if they opened the previously sterilized equipment in front of me and I also said no. So I'm short, this salon has caused me my BIG TOE NAIL which I have to go to a Podiatrist for the first time in my life to have removed. All because they do not properly sterilize their equipment and foot basins. This is a cautionary tale to anyone who reads this. Please make sure you bring your own equipment that you've properly sterilized yourself. Do not go to a salon that doesn't use plastic liners. Bring your own polish. Do not get gel polish on your toes because they DO NOT sanitize the UV lights before you stick your feet in them. I'm so upset about this. Warning: pic of my toe is pretty gross. Where do I start.... First, let me say that it was a girls day at the spa. My girl was going on and on about how great her technician was and her nails and feet are always beautiful. We started it with pedicures. The massage chairs were EVERYTHING. Her tech, who is a man, called a young lady over to take care of me. Okay, pedicure, what could go wrong. RUSH!!!!! TINA ZIPPED THROUGH IT SOOOOO FAST. Barely had time to finish my champagne her tech gave us. I got a basic sugar scrub $40, okay not bad. But in small print ($20 for polish) WTF???? Next up, nails. I didn't want tips but I knew the style and color I wanted. Even showed her a photo. "Yep, I can do" RUSH!!!! She slapped that acrylic on my super short nails so fast. Patted it down, no shaping, no form, big fat bulky blobs with no free edge to work with at all. No shaping with any tools at all. Just that little sponge prism buffer they all use when they are about to polish. Then, she grabs a jar of what looked to be oil with coarse sugar and a sloppy fat brush sitting in the jar. She plopped a big glump of it in my palm and pointed to the sink area. I didnt know wtf she was telling me to do. She says "go, wash" Uuuuuh Okay‍. I go to the sink thinking she was coming over to do something with this blob in my hand. Nope. Better figure it out and do it myself. I guessed it was the sugar scrub they use when THEY massage your hands after they've completed your services. The final touch to a relaxing moment. After I washed it off, went back to her chair, I became the invisible woman. Her next victim was in my spot. My girlfriend got the same exact services and paid $110. She says that is what she always pays. Why her technician go over to TINA and come back with a price tag of $125??!!!!! FOR A RUSH JOB DO IT YOURSELF MANICURE????!!!!!! Patrons beware!! My nails look like the little bald man at the amusement park wearing a sun visor. His head sticking out of the top of the visor. They are god awful. I am searching to get them redone NEXT DAY. First time client, and I booked online with Helen who had good reviews online. I set up a gel mani and a gel pedi. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and I told them I booked online, but no one asked with who or my name. I was sent to the back and put in a pedi chair and this gentleman attended to me. I was confused, this is not who I picked, but I went with it. He also did my nails and to be honest didn't do the best job. My nails are uneven to the point where I can run my finger over the polish and feel the paint ridges. I'm in the process of trying to find a loyal nail salon, and this will not be it. I went to this salon for the first time on a whim. I had a long day at work and just wanted to end on a relaxing note with a mani/pedi. I walked in around 5:30pm and there were no customers. Red flag, that's peak hour for customers just getting off work like myself. But regardless, I was immediately sat in a pedicure chair. The lady filling up the tub did not put the plastic sanitary cover on correctly so the jets created air bubbles in the plastic that engulfed my feet and legs. She just laughed and did not fix the situation, instead walked away and left me fighting with plastic wrap. She finally came back and tried again after I asked her to. My feet soaked for a while and then she came back to start the pedicure. She did a decent job cutting cuticles and buffing/filing. Regular stuff. When it came time to start painting, she switched out with another lady. The second lady was watching TikTok videos as she was walking up. She asked me if I had kids, I said no, she then shows me a TikTok of a kid doing something cute. Ok, no problem. One TikTok is fine. But no, this lady continues to scroll and scroll showing me various TikTok's for 10 minutes. That is NOT an exaggeration. I didn't want to be rude, but I should have told her to start on my toes because the entire time she sat down she didn't even attempt at touching my feet yet. She then starts painting, and it's a horrible job. The paint was clunky and uneven, I literally could have done a better job doing it myself. She also kept getting up to go in the back and talk to someone in the middle of my paint job. She was gone for an entire 15 minutes at one point. Before she left she told me to press the button myself on the timer for the UV light when the time runs out. I didn't even want my nails done anymore. I told the first lady I was leaving and she said sorry and still charged me $60. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think the pedicure I chose was only $45. Totally unprofessional. I went here for eyelash extensions and there were red flags from the start and I should have followed them. First there were NO reviews on their website or Google Reviews for the eyelash extension service. To book an appointment for eyelash service on their site, you have to select "Other" as if it weren't a major service that they offered. Yet I took a chance anyway. Pros: Elaine was very friendly, patient, personable. She talked about her children, her business, and it was a pleasure to conversing with her. I was the first customer of the morning so able to be seen right away. Cons: I dropped one star for technique. I requested single/individual extensions, meaning one extension per eyelash hair. She applied groups/clumps of extensions under my lashes directly onto my lash line (on the skin). A quick youtube video will show that lash extensions are supposed to be applied a mm from the lash line on top of the eyelash. Because the lashes were applied under my lashes, this caused me to have to keep my eyes open and exposed to glue fumes for the entire two hours. I dropped another star because of the pain. The fumes from the glue felt like someone was cutting an onion within inches of my eye. It was painful. I had to ask her to keep stopping because I needed a break. I couldn't end the process because I would have been left with an incomplete set of lashes that would not remove right away so I toughed it up and finished on. I dropped another star because I did not get the length I wanted. I wanted short and natural but I got extremely long lashes instead. The inner lash where your natural lashes are shorter than the outer lashes, she put the same length across the entire lash leaving an unnatural look. I dropped another star because the end result looked extremely unprofessional. Because I was in so much pain, she applied the last few lashed on top of my lash line but not in a way that was inconspicuous. You could clearly see the lash "bulbs". She got one star for being extremely friends and patient but she should stick to doing nails instead. Two weeks later and I'm still trying to get the lashes off and have unfortunately lost of lot of my natural lashes in the process. read more

I wanted five colors each getting darker as they progress but Phong, my nail tech was so rude and was rushing me and did a mediocre job and left it messy underneath the nail while I did change my mind about one of the colors, when was the one who messed up he was aggressive and rough with me. Then at some point he got so annoyed he got another nail tech to finish my nails and then proceeded to talk about me in Vietnamese right in front of my face. Very frustrated with my most recent experience. I manager encouraged me to try a new person and while he did an okay job. He painted my nails the wrong color and even after I told him that the color did not match the color that I asked for he told me that with more coats it would look like the right color. It didn't...I wanted purple nails and I have green. On top of this when I came back to get it fixed they gave me a big run around about waiting an hour and a half for the same person who did my nails to fix it. The last salon I went to did not have matching gel & polish & I had two different pinks on my hands & feet although they said it "matched". Kevin was good, I've had better but everything came out pretty nice. No complaints. I got a gel manicure & a deluxe pedicure with regular polish yesterday & have received compliments on how natural & classy my nails look. My pedicure could have been better don't think he scrubbed my feet enough but all & all I'm satisfied. They also ran out of wine/champagne, so I couldn't get a glass. The tech coughed multiple times without covering her mouth and took the cuticle cutter and scratched her hair with it. I had to have The owner redo my nails and they were just okay. .
