An excellent team at the Stanford Ranch store. Cliff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I needed new lights for my pool and he helped me select the right LED upgrade lights. The light installers, Joel and Chris, were exceptional. They arrived on time, were professional and friendly and did a fantastic job. However, they didn't just do the task and go, they showed me how the lights and light shows worked. I noted that my controller system was a bit dated and Joel and Chris got on the computer and found an upgrade kit for me and explained how it worked. I ordered the upgrade kit from Cliff and Chris and Joel installed it yesterday. They did an amazing job and their suggestion to get the upgrade kit was outstanding. I am very happy with the new system. I will keep going to Leslie's for my pool maintenance projects and I will request to have Joel and or Chris to do the work. Highly recommend!! read more

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE I had today in Leslie's in Roseville. Here it is Christmas week and instead of preparing for Christmas I was stressing over a major issue I was having with my pool. MISTY was amazing with her vast knowledge and understanding of pool equipment. MISTY knew exactly what needed to be done and to my delight rather than asking me to leave my pool equipment to be worked on at a later time, MISTY made the effort to work on my equipment in my presence and she explained each step she took to help me understand my equipment as she resolved my issues. I have been a faithful Leslie's customer for many years, I have always received very good service from everyone at Leslie's, but tonight my experience was excellent. I loved the level of detail she shared about my equipment, and she shared it in a warm, very kind and professional manner. MISTY and LESLIE'S certainly deserve a review rating of greater than five stars. I recommend everyone goes to Leslie's for their pool needs. Lasting, I was impressed that MISTY was working in the store alone, and still managed to give each and every other customer who walked in the same level of kind service I was receiving. Our experience was far too long and dreadful to relive by typing it here but let's just say that they make promises to call you and never do. I would not have given one star this is company! I am extremely upset that I ordered my chlorine tablets online for free pick at the store! It said online i would receive 10 off for first order and that did not happen! Then I went to the store to pick up my order and it was not there as if yet! I was told I would receive and email saying it was there which did not happen! I waited a week and called and they said it was there! I was not notified and they said they would be shipping it back If I did not come get it! I made arrangements to get it Friday am and when arrived they said my order was cancelled and it was stopped back even after I waited for t to show up for over a week! The older guy there not sure if he is manager was rude as had no sense of customer service at all! He did not care I was inconvenienced and acted as if ordering online was a separate business from his! He wanted me too purchase from him! This review is for the "manager"(?) of the Vacaville CA Leslie's Pool Supply store, named Ashley. Ashley you are a rock star! Thank you Thank you Thank you! My, pressure side, Polaris 39 (aka 3900) pools sweep had stopped moving. I checked all the usual causes and came up blank. I took the unit to another pool repair store and they said there was nothing wrong with the sweep and that this problem must be due to low water pressure from the booster pump. Now, I knew that I was getting up to 60 psi from the booster pump, so the low pressure reasoning did not make sense. I took the unit to Leslies Pool Supply and Ashley said, with great confidence,"I will find out what is going on and fix it!" I picked up the sweep today and Ashley explained that after tearing the unit down she found a blocked jet which she cleaned and checked to make sure the wheels now rotated under pressure. She was as good as her word and the Polaris 39 is now in my pool and running normally. I will return to this branch of Leslies Pool Supply in the future. It is great to have confidence in the words and actions of product specialists. read more

I had an AMAZING experience at the Moore plaza location. Jeremy Ramirez and the store manager were so great in helping me with my pool vacuum. I would recommend this store but especially those two guys. They are always knowledgeable and very professional. I HATE keeping up with my pool and spending a ridiculous amount of money on it. They always know exactly what to say and how to help me get it back on track. I just can't say enough good things about Jeremy and the staff. He fixed my Aquabot and made my 2019 year. I gave It one star because it wouldn't let me go any lower. I ordered a intex pool for my kids in the beginning of March , the payment cleared within days from my account but it just said processing on their website. After 2 weeks I finally called & was told it wasn't able to get through . After multiple emails I was finally told May 13. May 13 came & went & again after 2 more emails I was told back ordered until end of July! I can Understand delays & backorders with all that is going on but at no time did they communicate with me what was going on unless I contacted them! I was assured it Was coming in May & that didn't happen! I finally got my money back & now there are no pools to be found . Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are quick to offer help, but unfortunately even quicker on the UP SALE! I understand that these types of businesses have to make money during the season but sometimes it feels like I'm on a used car lot... One thing that REALLY ticked me off was the Zodiac Tail Sweep Pro for $35! I just bought one online for $17.00 so these guys are making another SEVENTEEN DOLLARS!!! On each sale! Well the workers here are always extremely slow, but I've come to expect that. They usually have two people working and a line. Today I went in for a replacement air valve/ gauge assembly for the filter. I immediately stood in line because I knew the parts kit was not hanging on the wall. After waiting for about 10 minutes the female clerk asked me what I needed. She promptly directed me to the wall of parts where the assembly wasn't. She then told me she would help me after taking other customers who had a purchase. Well that would be fine if they were standing in line in front of me, but they weren't. Ok dummy, let me explain the concept of a line. They work by standing in them, waiting your turn, and then receiving service. You don't pick and choose who and when you will provide service, unless you are working the door at a high end club, which you are not!!!! This clerk was obviously new, because I frequent this store often and have never seen her before. I ended up leaving, because I was shocked at her stupidity. Needless to say I received excellent service and the parts kit I needed at all seasons pool store. There, I was helped as soon as I walked in the door. I walked out two minutes later with what I needed. Leslie's look at your overall reviews. Your store is lacking customer service/ satisfaction. We can spend our money elsewhere, just like I did today. read more

This is an update to my original post. The next day after my post, I received an email from Arlene, Leslie's Customer Service, which asked me to contact their District Manager, David. I called David and had a great discussion about the incident and Leslie's return policy. He assured me that this was not their policy and he was very apologetic about what happened. David insisted on refunding the original item AND providing the hose at no cost. I returned to the store this morning and David had called ahead to tell them about our discussion. The Assistant Manager was very gracious and again apologised, returned the original item and again refused payment for the hose. Needless to say, I was wrong about both the stores Business Acumen and their Customer Focus. I will be back!!! read more

I went there to replace our Salt Cell, after testing our Cell, the manager told us it passed. He then recommended we buy a new system that was on sale for $999.00. I asked if they could send out a tech to check out why our system isn't producing chlorine ? He said they wouldn't be able to send someone out for a couple of weeks, and continued to try and sell me a whole new system. I then asked him how much would the Control Board cost for my System. He told me about $600 for the control board and $100 for a new control valve. I then told him I would have to think it over ( spend $700 to repair my system, or $1000.00 for a new system). On my way home it dawned on me "How much would it cost for installation ? Or is it included in the price ? Upon calling the store, I was told told it would be $500 to install the new system. So now I'm looking at $1500 ! I got online, found a New Control Board for $149 and a new Flow Valve for $40. I then watched an eight minute video on YouTube I decided it was a fairly easy task. So I ordered the parts, received them 3 days later, took about 30 minutes to install start to finish. My system is now running like it should and I saved about $1300. Leslies does a good job Water Testing, but otherwise be very aware of the upsale tactics at this location. read more

My family purchased a pool filter 10 days ago, paid for 2 day shipping, and we still haven't received it. Their story has changed five times as to why it still hasn't shipped, and it's now still going to be yet another week before it is even shipped. Absolutely disgraceful. Just bought a vinyl pool, I already felt bad about not investing in an in ground pool, but I don't have 10,000$ so I bought a 17ft x 52inch vinyl pool. When I came in to get supplies, I asked cliff how I should take care of it. He made a snarky comment about taking fireworks to it. I was irritated with that. I felt like it was a jab at me because it wasn't up to the normal pool standards. I didn't realize I needed a water sample to get the chemicals so we came back the next day. Fortunately, we got Brandon to help us and Brandon really went above and beyond to answer all my questions. I told Brandon I'd never done this before and had to ask him a bunch of questions, sometimes the same questions and he really was very patient with me. Never ever making me feel inadequate about our pool choice. I will be returning but only if Brandon can help. read more

My Pool pump went out in July, My husband went to the store and purchased what was supposed to be the top of the line new pump and filter system by Jacuzzi. It took 3 weeks for them to come and installed the new system. It is now September and we have had to call and have them come out 5 times now cause the system does not work properly. Our pool has not been able to be used since July. Every time we have called it has taken 2 to 3 weeks for someone to come fix whatever the problem has been. The installer originally put too much diatomaceous earth into the pool, the entire bottom of my pool is covered in it. We have had 3 manifolds replaced and a filter that has collapsed already on this "TOP Of THE LINE". We now have received a bill for this new system that has yet to work properly. read more

Leslie's Pools retail stores are generally 4 star. Depends on the experience level of the employee. The online service is another story. 1. When you place an order, they do not give you an approximate delivery date. 2. I placed an order Saturday evening, and called the 1-800 # on my confirmation email Sunday morning. I was on hold for 1 1/2 hours. Recording told me "1 person ahead of you, thank you for continuing to hold". Getting suspicious, I googled the cust srvc phone hours, and being directed to the Leslie's web page I found that Cust Srvc is closed on Sundays. I could have been stuck for hours. 3. Frustrated, I looked for alternatives. I found a price drop on Amazon, and ordered the item for $139 instead of Leslie's $159. I sent 2 messages to Leslie's Sunday morning via their contact link, requesting to cancel my order. 3. Called again this morning to confirm they got my message. They did not. Told me they would only cancel in first hour after order. So I have to wait until delivered, cancel, and mail it back. From now on ... Only Amazon will get my online pool business. read more

My last experience was about a week or so ago. I have to say Phillip went above and beyond every expectation. I pulled up with a water test, it was after 7, doors were locked and I was about to leave when Phillip caught my attention. He came and let me in. I knew he had already closed so I didn't really expect any special treatment but he took care of me right on the spot. I know everyone wants to go home after work but Phillip stayed after close to test my water and make sure my pool was ready to go. He provided me the best customer service I have ever had anywhere. I contacted Leslie's customer service. I had to call twice because I was disconnected (actually disconnected once each day I called). Every person has the same sing-song-y accent which is very difficult to understand. I couldn't even understand the names they gave me. I had to ask them to spell the name. I ended up asking for a manager. The issue was that the delivery truck was too tall to drive down my street. They told me the first time around that they had contacted the freight company and that the item would be redelivered the following day in a smaller vehicle. I believe, however, they told the freight company "redeliver TO a smaller vehicle" because the driver just called me to tell me he was back and to drive my pickup over so he could offload my equipment. I don't have a pickup. The manager told me that exact thing- the freight company was told to redeliver it TO a smaller vehicle. Even the manager kept insisting that I contact the freight company. No, this is not my responsibility. You are shipping it, not me. I paid it to be delivered. This is what happens folks when you outsource all of America to a foreign country. read more

North Olmsted Ohio. The WORST experience with LesliePool in N.O Ohio...Purchased a pool for my family on May 4th 2020. Was led in the direction to purchase the particular pool because the salesman "KNEW" they had 5 or 6 in stock that day. Paid for the pool in full, my money was immediately taken out of my account. Told pool would ship from warehouse in Ca by May 14th, long story short, I STILL do not have my pool. It's now July!!! Worst customer service ever!!!! After countless wasted hours on hold with Leslie Pools to find out what is going on, no one at Leslie Pools knows the answer to where my pool is. After more countless hours on hold, the warehouse manager can not give me an answer to where my pool is!!! Best advice they had for me was to place an order for a tracking request. That was now a week ago. Leslie Pools has not responded yet to one of my emails or phone calls !!! But they sure do have my money!!! The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Something as exciting as finally being able to purchase a pool for my family has turned in to an absolute nightmare and extremely disappointed children. I called before purchasing a pool heater and asked about them installing it. I told them specifically I was not buying it there as I needed a smaller model that they don't carry and also that I could get it much cheaper than the bigger model. They quoted me installing the heater and mentioned nothing about not being able to provide the service. I again called after the purchase to reconfirm and to schedule appointment. Then once appointment was made I called 800 number to talk to them about scheduling and once again to tell them when they asked that I did not get the heater there. No issues no concerns mentioned. Now fast forward 2 weeks to appointment date they call and there is issue they cannot install. Gas company is scheduled to come today. They really dropped the ball. read more

I ordered a pool for the regular price of $799, after six weeks they told me they will not have the pool for me and they refund me the money, the only problem is that because they took so long the demand of pools went up and the same pool now is about double the price, from $ 799 when i ordered with them to $1,799 now, the way I see it they stole $1000 dollars from my packet and waisted lots of my time. Today two hours before the text was suppose to be there they called and cancelled. They rescheduled for mid October. My pool is lowered and chemicals have been added for closing. I have used this store for many years and have had nothing but the best experiences there. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic and concerned about my health (as I am considered in the high risk category), I purchased chlorine on-line. As it turns out, I ordered the wrong tub of chlorine, I wanted chlorine tabs, but mistakenly chose plain chlorine granules. I didn't discover the error until it was delivered. I contacted them (on-line people) only to find out that they do not take back chemicals once they are sold!!!! Even if unused!. They said it was unsafe and they would not take them back under any conditions. Unsafe?, then why did they ship it to me? ....... at that point they said it was their policy!!!!! They offered to send me what I wanted for regular price minus $20 for my inconvenience. I'm already out $125+tax! for what i bought. When I opened the e-mail the price was $99 dollars, which was WHAT I COULD BUY IT FOR IN THEIR RETAIL STORE!!!!! Some deal!! and there was no discount of $20!!! Thanks for nothing!!!! Lesson learned! I ordered a ladder on June 12 and have not received the ladder. The money was taken out of my account for the ladder it was never delivered and I requested a refund and I still have not received a refund. They took the money out immediately and can not refund me immediately. Do not order from them it is impossible to get any information from them and they keep blaming the warehouse and no one is helpful. Almost a month later no ladder and still no refund they are crooks!! I would have given 0 starts but was not an option!! read more

I will never use them again. Bought heater and had them open pool. Ordered and paid for it in Feb 2020 and scheduled for May 5. They showed on time and didn't get pool running until June 5. Hayley at store #550 Roseville off Stanford Ranch Rd. Super helpful. I had an old outdated Pump,booster,filter situation killing my electric bill and constantly blowing out motors and expensive parts for my sweep. Hayley spent several days educating me and when I presented bids for the equipment she recommended they actually were able to match on line prices! Add that with the 0% financing WOW a great price, fantastic service, education and there so close to my home. Hayley really invested a lot of time with me, which is rare now days. They just want you off the phone usually. This will end up saving me a ton of money. OH and the service Tech Mark (super nice guy) and was able to immediately isolate a problem with my Heater on my spa. I was afraid it would be an arm and leg, less than $200 bucks! I dropped off a pool vacuum/cleaner on Monday for them to diagnose and fix. The employee said they would look at it by Tuesday. I called Tuesday and he said that they'll look it at by Wednesday. I called Wednesday and they said Thursday. I called Thursday and they said Friday. I went to the store on Friday and they still had not looked at it yet. I just took back my broken cleaner and went somewhere else. They have terrible customer service at this location. Go somewhere else for your pool needs. read more
